The Charles Becomes a Wizard
Chapter 129
The werewolf had a strong jumping ability. With a single effort of his hind legs, he leapt up to the same level as Charles. He quickly swung out his front paws, and the sharp claws created a gust of wind that almost hit Charles' face.
"Alas, that's why I hate dogs," Sebastian jumped up and stomped heavily on the werewolf's face with his spotless leather shoes. "It's really annoying that they never seem to understand people's expressions."
The werewolf that was stepped on fell from mid-air and hit the ground hard. He seemed to feel no pain. He got up quickly and roared threateningly in the direction of Sebastian. Then he was kicked away by Sebastian again. This kick carried some of the devil's real disgust for dogs, so the force was greater.
The werewolf's huge body crashed into the tree, breaking the bowl-thick trunk.
The werewolf let out a painful howl, and stared at Sebastian with his glowing eyes as if he wanted to engrave his appearance in his heart. Then he turned around and fled into the depths of the forbidden forest without hesitation.
Sebastian, who was ready for battle, and Ciel, who subconsciously hugged the devil's neck: ......
"Master, do you want to bring him back?" Sebastian tilted his head and asked in a low voice.
"Ah, let's go and catch him back later." Charles pinched his eyebrows.
The Forbidden Forest is not safe at all. If Lupin can't get out when daybreak comes, it will be a disaster.
"The point now is," Ciel turned around and looked at Peter Pettigrew who was sneaking around and preparing to run away, "Mr. Peter, where are you going?"
The boy's voice was clean and clear, but in this dark forest, it added a bit of weirdness.
When Pettigrew was named, he trembled all over and ran away without looking back.
"Sebastian, catch him!" Charles shouted.
"Yes, sir." Sebastian opened his mouth, took the bottom of the glove and pulled it down, and the next second a silver light flew out of his hand.
With a "clang", the silver knife pierced into the hard tree trunk and stopped just an inch away from Peter Pettigrew's eyes.
Peter Pettigrew stopped suddenly, his pupils shrank extremely small, and he stared at the dinner knife in front of him without daring to blink. Beads of cold sweat the size of beans kept dripping from the corners of his forehead, making his face, which was already covered with dust, look even more ridiculous.
"Mr. Peter." The boy's voice sounded again, and Peter Pettigrew heard him say.
"If I were you, I wouldn't even think about running away."
"Guess where these knives will stab next time?"
There was a smile in his voice, but Pettigrew didn't dare to gamble. His thick and short neck seemed like a rusty part. He turned his head with a click and looked at the two people, one big and one small, standing not far away.
Under the cold moonlight, a boy with a delicate face like a doll was held in the arms of a tall man. The dark and dense woods behind them seemed to merge with their shadows, like a giant beast lurking in the abyss with its mouth wide open, making people feel uneasy for no reason.
Peter Pettigrew's legs went weak and he fell to the ground. His body couldn't stop shaking, like a prey being targeted by a predator.
The man walked up to him at a leisurely pace, his narrow eyes flashing an obscure and ominous red light.
Pettigrew almost screamed, but before he could open his mouth he was interrupted by a dinner knife stabbing into the ground right next to his nose.
"It's very late now, Mr. Peter, you'd better not disturb everyone's rest." The man raised his index finger and gently pressed it against his lips.
Pettigrew immediately covered his mouth with his muddy hands and nodded frantically, fearing that he would be punished if he was slow.
He didn't think he could withstand a kick from this man! Didn't he see that the werewolves had to run away when they faced him?
Seeing that he was sensible, Sebastian didn't waste too much energy on him. He looked at Ciel and asked softly, "Master, what are your plans?"
If they wanted to catch Lupin, Pettigrew's presence would obviously be a hindrance, but if they left him here and let him escape, it would certainly not be that easy to catch him back.
Looking for a mouse across Britain?
Don't be ridiculous! Even Sebastian would find this kind of workload cumbersome.
So, Snape, who had just fallen asleep, was awakened by a knock on the door, and then found two big troubles at the door of the room. Oh, the other one was Sirius whose stomach was bitten through by a werewolf.
Snape:......
Snape's sinister eyes were fixed on Pettigrew who was tied up with ropes. He raised his arm holding the wand several times. The evil thoughts that had been suppressed in his chest for many years almost burst out. Finally, he closed his eyes and used a levitation spell to bring the two troubles to his office.
"Mr. Snape will be angry if you do this." Sebastian reminded as he ran quickly in the Forbidden Forest holding Charles in his arms, following the traces of the werewolf.
"Ah." Charles responded simply, feeling a little guilty for a rare moment.
How could he not know that Professor Snape would be angry if he saw Sirius and Pettigrew?
But isn't there anything he can do?!
The details of the acting headmaster have not been fully understood, and it is hard to tell whether he is a friend or an enemy. Lucius Malfoy is not in Hogwarts, Sirius is injured, and the culprit who caused his injury is still fleeing in the Forbidden Forest...
Snape is the most reliable candidate that Charles can find at the moment.
Even if he was angry about what happened tonight, that was...
It shouldn't be a big problem...right?
Ciel thought uncertainly, and as his mind raced, Sebastian, who was holding him, stopped.
"What's wrong?" Charles asked after coming back to his senses.
"Something's wrong here." Sebastian bent down slightly to look at the clear scratches on the tree trunk, then lowered his head to check the ground. "There are signs of a fight."
It seemed as if something unexpected had happened, but what creature would be so reckless as to provoke a mindless werewolf on a full moon night?
Moreover, the footprints on the ground were also very strange. There were only marks left by the wolf's claws, but his opponent did not leave any traces at all.
"We went all the way over there." Sebastian turned his head to look at the dense forest that was blocked by the lush branches and leaves of the trees, and asked the boy in his arms, "It may be dangerous to continue, young master?"
"Isn't it your duty to protect my safety?" Charles raised his eyebrows and asked back.
"Or are you not sure you can bring me back to the castle safely?"
"Oh, oh, since the young master has said so," the devil grinned slightly, his sharp white teeth gleaming coldly in the moonlight. "Then as the young master's butler, how can you not even do such a small thing?"
"The journey ahead may be a bit bumpy, I hope you don't mind, Master."
