"No, nothing. I was just a little surprised to see someone I knew," Charles said casually.

Know someone...?

Dumbledore looked towards the stage with a hint of inquiry.

Not everyone makes him feel dangerous...

Who is the person on the stage?

How could the boy around me know such a person?

Will this person have any impact on the wizarding world?

"Why... are you here?" Considering Dumbledore beside him, Charles deliberately avoided the name.

"And it's really rare for him to sneak in personally." Sebastian's eyes were gloomy. "But this way we can confirm one thing."

"There is something fishy about this circus."

The man in the gold sequined suit jacket left the stage. Sebastian, who received a hint from Charles, followed suit. Just as he reached the backstage, he heard a sound of breaking air.

Sebastian immediately dodged the attack of the retractable Grim Reaper's Scythe in the shape of garden shears.

"Hmph, I was wondering why there was such a disgusting aura, it turns out to be you." The Grim Reaper's scythe that had pierced the ground was slowly retracted, and the Grim Reaper named William pushed his glasses with the tip of the scythe.

"Really? I thought we would never see each other again."

"The Grim Reaper is already short-handed, and there are demons roaming around," the long handle of the Grim Reaper's scythe drew a circle in the air, with the sharp tip facing Sebastian's face, "I probably won't be able to get off work on time today."

"What are you going to hunt?"

Sebastian stretched out a finger to push away the Grim Reaper's scythe that was about to hit his face, "Then why is the Grim Reaper from the Management Department here?"

"Ah, the waste from the recycling department is being punished with confinement," William put away his offensive posture and stood up straight, "I am sent out to clean up the mess. It's really unlucky."

Thinking of the red-haired guy who always liked to carry a sickle around, William's cold face revealed a hint of obvious disgust.

“So, there is indeed something wrong with this circus?”

"Oh, how could I tell the devil about the soul?" William pushed his glasses again.

"Unfortunately, I'm not interested in cheap souls." There was a hint of laughter in Sebastian's voice.

"How shameless! You are obviously starving, right?"

The tent behind him cast a large shadow on Sebastian, blurring the expression on his face. Only his pair of red eyes were particularly clear in the darkness. "I'm tired of eating whatever I can find."

The devil's mouth curled up into an exaggerated arc, his sharp, pale teeth flashed a cold light, and his voice was low and magnetic: "The hungrier you are, the more delicious the meal will be."

William: “What a bad taste.”

"I'm no match for your waste dispatcher. But don't worry," Sebastian gently pulled off the glove on his left hand, revealing the contract on the back of his hand, "I'm still wearing a collar and have no interest in picking up random things."

William glanced at it out of the corner of his eye, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Then I'll be frank. I need to examine a large number of souls in this area in the near future."

"This case is a little special, please don't interfere with me."

"How about letting me help you?" Sebastian asked softly with a frown.

Before he could finish his words, the handle of the Grim Reaper's scythe suddenly grew longer and flew towards his head. The dark demon simply tilted his head to avoid the attack.

"I don't accept unpaid overtime," William, holding the Grim Reaper's scythe, looked annoyed, his yellow-green eyes hidden behind the frame were filled with murderous intent, "If you dare to hinder me, I will deal with you first."

"I don't want to deal with death either." After William shortened the handle again and Sebastian stood up again, he said slowly.

"Ah, SUITS, why are you here? Joker is looking for you." DAGGER said as he walked out of the tent. He was stunned when he saw Sebastian.

"Ah, you're the one from that day... Do you two know each other? Why are you here backstage?" DAGGER asked, pointing at Sebastian.

"I don't want to have anything to do with harmful animals." William snorted coldly.

"Because the master I'm currently serving is a very willful child, I'm afraid I can't leave the mansion for the time being," Sebastian simply ignored William and just looked at DAGGER and said, "So I can only reject the circus' invitation. I'm here to talk to Mr. Joker about this."

"Serve?" DAGGER blinked.

"Yes, I am a deacon."

"How come? You look like a true gentleman!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

"Oh, it's an honor."

......

"Did Mr. Michaelis take care of things?" Dumbledore asked Sebastian, who was waiting at the door, with a smile as he followed the crowd out of the tent after the show. "What a pity! You missed such a wonderful show."

"It's been taken care of." Sebastian responded and winked at Ciel.

This reaction is...

Charles pursed her lips and continued to complain in a pinched voice, acting like a haughty and arrogant young lady.

Watching Charles' performance, Dumbledore naturally realized that this was not the place to talk. A kind smile appeared on his face, and he said no more.

Joker, who was standing not far away, withdrew his gaze from Ciel. He turned around to look at his friends who grew up with him, either standing or sitting, and said softly, "I got news from my father that there is not enough candy for the official performance."

The relaxed expressions on everyone's faces suddenly froze.

"Let's do it tonight."

The originally relaxed atmosphere became dull and they all lowered their heads, as if something invisible was pressing on their shoulders.

The circus ended and the once lively circus fell into silence.

Everyone returned to their respective tents, equipped themselves with the tools they were familiar with, put on their delicate and quirky makeup again, and, led by JOKER, hurriedly left the camp and disappeared silently into the quiet night.
