The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 19 Magic Wand

"Then have you been chosen by the wand?" Ciel changed the topic readily, making Harry laugh. This was the first time Ciel saw Harry laugh so happily, as if he had gotten rid of some burden.

"Not yet, I think." Harry placed his wand carefully on the counter.

"Oh, don't worry, you are a picky little wizard, let me see..." Ollivander's figure disappeared behind a shelf full of wands, and soon he came out with a long box.

"I think it should be this..." He blew away the thick dust on the box and handed the wand to Harry while introducing it. "Eleven inches, made of holly wood, and the core of the wand is a phoenix tail feather."

As soon as Harry's hand grasped the wand, a warm red light emerged from the tip.

"Oh, it's amazing, I mean it's amazing..." Ollivander exclaimed repeatedly: "This wand chose you."

"I'm sorry, I mean... why do you say that?" Harry asked timidly.

"I remember that for every wand I sold, two wands used feathers from the same phoenix. One is the one in your hand, and the other..." Ollivander raised his hand to touch the scar on Harry's forehead, "Its brother left you with this wound."

Charles couldn't help but take a closer look at the scar on Harry's forehead. Apart from the odd shape, there didn't seem to be anything special about it. However, the mysterious way this Ollivander spoke gave him an inexplicable sense of familiarity...Who was he?

The conversation between the two people was still going on. Perhaps out of consideration for Charles, Harry simply asked about the identity of the wand's owner, and then fell silent after Ollivander said, "You will definitely achieve great things."

"You have to remember that it is the wand that chooses..."

"Ciel, you haven't bought a suitable wand yet?" The shop door was pushed open, and Eric and Vincent walked in from outside and interrupted Ollivander.

"Not yet," Ciel introduced Harry, "This is my father Vincent and my brother Eric. You haven't met them before."

"Father, Eric, this is Harry, Harry Potter."

Vincent nodded slightly, and Eric greeted him warmly. Harry stared at the two identical faces and suddenly felt a little depressed. He thought he and Ciel could be called friends, but... Ciel knew all his information, but he didn't even know that he had a twin brother...

No one in the room cared much about how complicated Harry's emotions were. Eric had already approached Ollivander and wanted him to recommend a wand for him. It was only when Charles saw Vincent that he suddenly remembered where the déjà vu that Ollivander gave him came from.

It was the undertaker. The traitor of death who loved bad jokes.

But then again, could the funeral home in this world also be the god of death?

If so, is that extremely evil demon also...

Charles silently withdrew his thoughts. He rarely recalled the demon now. After all, his father would not let the sacrifice happen again, and the demon would not appear in his world again.

A dull knocking sound came from outside the display window which had been restored to its original state at some point, attracting everyone's attention. A tall man or a giant appeared in front of the window. His fat figure covered the entire window. He had messy long hair and a long beard, and looked sloppy. He was holding a large birdcage in his hand, with a snow sculpture in the cage.

"Happy birthday, Harry!" he said.

"This is Hagrid." Harry's expression visibly relaxed, like a small animal that had seen its owner.

Harry didn't stay in the store for long. After asking Charles about his next arrangements, he left with Hagrid.

"Don't you know today is his birthday?" Eric glanced at Charles.

"I know. The gift has already been sent to his aunt's house." Charles replied nonchalantly, looking at the wands on the counter. Since he had decided to get closer to the savior, he had to pay attention to such trivial matters. Anyway, the servants at home were the ones who chose the gifts, so he only had to write a greeting card.

The limp measuring tape was passed over Eric's arms and fingertips, and after a few attempts at housebreaking he was left with a 12-inch wand made from fir and the heart nerve of a dragon.

"Fir wood is particularly suitable for masters with strong minds and clear goals," Ollivander looked at Eric deeply, "Perhaps you will like to use it to perform Transfiguration."

Eric didn't say anything. He held the wand in his hand and quietly recalled the throbbing that spread from his fingertips to his heart at the moment he touched the wand just now, as if every cell in his body was cheering.

The process of Charles choosing a magic wand was full of situations. Fire, explosion, rainstorm and other accidents occurred alternately. Before the roof was blown off, Charles finally found a magic wand that suited him. It was 12 inches and made of elm and thunderbird tail feathers.

This is actually a very magical combination. The tail feathers of the thunderbird are powerful but very difficult to control, while the elm tree tends to favor masters who are skilled in magic, elegant, and noble. There is even a saying in the magic world that only pure-bloods can use elm wands. Of course, Ollivander thinks this is pure nonsense. Although half-bloods or hemp-bloods who can drive elm are relatively rare, the boy in front of him is a living example!

After Ollivander once again said something like "You will achieve great things", Charles silently counted out a few gold Galleons from his purse and placed them on the counter.

......

After Phantomhive and his two sons returned from Diagon Alley with a full load, Ciel and Eric dived into the "trophies". When they couldn't figure it out, they used the two-way mirror to harass Draco. Then, the young platinum noble, with disgust written all over his face, explained to them the "common sense" in the eyes of wizards.

Time flies and soon it's time to go to school.

Since ordinary people could not enter the platform, Vincent and Rachel were only sent to the outside of the station, and Eric, who was also a wizard, took Charles to the platform.
