The Charles Becomes a Wizard

Chapter 61 About Prisoners

"Albus would never do such a thing!" Gellert Grindelwald said in an extremely firm tone.

If Albus really desired immortality and wanted to play with death, then the two of them would never have become enemies in the first place, and he would not have been imprisoned in Nurmengard.

Charles was not afraid that he would refute him, but was afraid that he would not respond to his words. Hearing this, he just smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'm just telling you some news from outside."

However, even after this situation, does he still call Professor Dumbledore "Albus"?

There must be something wrong with such an intimate name, right?

You have to know that the person in front of you was dragged down from the highest point of the wizarding world by Professor Dumbledore!

Don't you have any resentment in your heart?

From a king who has the final say to a prisoner living a hard life, has the huge sense of gap disappeared out of thin air?

Ciel said he didn't understand Gellert's thoughts at all.

Charles only knew that if he exchanged positions with the old man in front of him, he would never let himself end up like this, and he would eliminate anyone who dared to attack him.

No matter who the other party is or what price he has to pay.

Gellert was silent for a while, then looked up at Charles and said, "Young man, tell me why you are here."

"A young man like you wouldn't come to this remote place to visit a loser like me for no reason."

"You're exaggerating." Charles sat on the chair that Sebastian had conjured up from nowhere, and looked at Gellert across the bars of the cell.

"How can you be called a failure? Personally, I admire your deeds very much."

"So I hope you can give me some advice on some questions."

Gellert looked at Charles, who seemed ready to have a long talk, and his mouth twitched unconsciously.

Putting aside other things, where did they get that chair? Such ornate carvings and embroidery are not what you would expect from Nurmengard.

Gellert's eyes fell on Sebastian, who was standing respectfully behind Ciel, and he was suddenly shocked to find that this man's presence was terribly weak - he was clearly not someone that could be easily ignored, either in terms of appearance or aura, but until he took the initiative to step forward just now, Gellert hadn't paid much attention to him!

This is undoubtedly extremely dangerous!

You have to know that Gellert himself came from the battlefield and his vigilance has always been terribly high. He doesn't think that life in Nurmengard has eroded his strength. So perhaps there is only one possibility left - this man is very strong, or at least very good at disguise.

Just imagine, there is such a being appearing silently beside you... once it has any bad intentions, it is impossible to guard against it.

I just don't know if this person suddenly made him pay attention to himself as a threat or something else...

Gellert tapped the table twice and stood up suddenly. "I just said that this is not a place suitable for entertaining a little wizard like you."

After saying that, he pushed open the door of the cell and walked out.

Walked out...

Ciel: ...

You really are staying here voluntarily?!

Isn't Nurmengard a wizard prison?

Is it really okay not to even lock the cell door?

Seeing the dazed look in Charles's eyes, Gellert raised the corners of his lips slightly, then quickly dropped them.

"Come with me." Gellert said this and walked towards the stairs without looking back.

Ciel and Sebastian looked at each other, then took a few quick steps to catch up.

The two were brought to a room decorated with the utmost luxury, dotted with all kinds of priceless treasures. It was not until they sat on the soft sofa that Charles came back to his senses. He turned his head to look at Gellert, who had already started to prepare tea, and did not hide the surprise in his eyes.

"This was arranged by my careless men," Gellert said. There were many items in this room that he cherished and used to use, but because he wanted to atone for the mistakes he made in the past, he had been living an ascetic life.

This was the first time he had used this room in all these years.

Sebastian took the teapot from Gellert in due time, took out a small tea bag from his chest pocket, and replaced the tea leaves he had prepared under Gellert's half-smiley gaze.

Although Sebastian didn't think Gellert would do something as tasteless as poisoning, but...

Who knows how long the tea leaves in this room have been there? The young master is so fragile, what if he gets upset after drinking the old tea? He has some on him, so why would he take the chance?

What's more, the young master always prefers the tea prepared by him personally...

"Young man, tell me, what do you want to know?" Gellert didn't care what to drink. He looked back at Charles.

Gellert's sudden blunt shot choked back all the words that Charles had prepared in his mind.

"You and Professor Dumbledore must have had a very close relationship, right?" Charles thought for a moment and then responded decisively.

The word "once" stabbed Gellert's heart like a knife.

Charles noticed that his breathing was getting noticeably heavier, so he decided to up the ante.

"I heard that you had a secret duel with Professor Dumbledore, but aren't you good friends? Why...?"

"You can easily leave Nurmengard, so why do you stay here?"

Gellert originally thought that Ciel would ask questions about magic, the three deathly hallows, and how to enhance his own strength, just like the ambitious black-haired young man last time...

But he never expected that the series of questions asked by the child were all about the secrets between him and Albus.

This made Gellert wonder if the child in front of him knew something.

On the one hand, Gellert was a little worried that once his previous relationship with Albus was exposed, it would have a bad impact on Albus. On the other hand, he secretly hoped that the relationship could be revealed openly in front of everyone.

Gellert is proud. He is insolent and indifferent. He never takes the opinions of "ants" to heart.

Even though he and Albus have parted ways now, he doesn't think that their irresistible, passionate and pure feelings in the past are stains that need to be washed away.

If I wasn't worried that Albus would be criticized if it got out...
