Ariana used the hose that she usually used to water the green plants to give the black hound a bath. She also used a comb to comb the black hound's tangled long hair to make it smooth. The black hound shook off the water droplets on its body, and when the water droplets splashed onto Ariana, the little girl giggled.

Ariana named the black hound: Sirius. When Aires heard the name, he looked at Harry strangely. Facing Aires' strange look, Harry was a little confused.

Sirius thus "settled down" in the Greene family. Jim did not object to this, but called on Aris and Harry to build a small nest for Sirius outside the house.
