Chapter 77 Harry sneaks out of school
After lying on the bed for more than two hours, Harry finally woke up. He looked around blankly. Aeris, Hermione and Ron were all looking at him worriedly.
"What happened?" Harry asked hoarsely, and Ron told Harry what had happened.
Harry listened silently, his eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. When Ron finished speaking, Harry closed his eyes and pulled his hair hard with both hands.
"You have to cheer up, buddy," Aerys consoled him, "Gryffindor hasn't lost yet. If you become depressed again, Captain Wood will graduate with regrets."
"Where's Wood?" Harry asked. "Where's the others?"
Aries said, "Madam Pomfrey said you need to rest. She drove everyone out except us. She even coaxed Drago out of the room. As for Wood, he is still outside in the rain. Fred said he might have the idea of drowning himself in the rain..."
"Where's my broom?" Harry asked weakly.
Hermione picked up a large schoolbag and said sadly, "After you fell, the wind blew your broom to the Whomping Willow. You know, Harry, the Whomping Willow is very unstable, especially when it is hit by something..."
Hermione couldn't continue speaking. Harry reached out and took the big bag, took a look inside, closed his eyes, hugged the bag and stopped talking.
Madam Pomfrey kept Harry in the hospital until the following Monday. There was a Potions class in the morning and a Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the afternoon. After lunch, Ron muttered, "If Snape substitutes again, I'll skip class!"
The students all breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that the person walking towards them was Professor Lupin. After entering the classroom, Professor Lupin picked up the roster and began to call the roll.
Professor Lupin looked like he had been seriously ill. His face was haggard and there were dark circles around his eyes. After calling the roll and confirming that no students were absent, Professor Lupin smiled gently at the students, and the students began to complain:
"Professor Snape is just here to substitute for us. Why should he give us homework? Why should he check the homework you assigned to us before?"
"He was sarcastic to us just because we didn't know what a werewolf was."
"That's a lot of homework! Identify and kill werewolves? Is that something third graders are supposed to learn?"
"Didn't you tell Professor Snape about our learning progress?" Professor Lupin raised his eyebrows.
"We talked about it, but he just said that he was the professor and he had the final say on what to teach."
"He also said you were too lax with us."
"That's a lot of homework!"
The students in the classroom were all filled with indignation, but Professor Lupin smiled softly and said, "You don't have to complete the homework assigned by Professor Snape. I will go and explain the situation to him."
The students all cheered.
This Defense Against the Dark Arts class was as interesting as ever, and was completely different from the one taught by Professor Snape.
After class, Aries and the others followed the crowd out. Professor Lupin left Harry behind, and Hermione hurriedly said, "We'll wait for you in the corridor," and was swept forward by the crowd.
Professor Lupin didn't talk to Harry about anything particularly important. He just heard what happened at the Quidditch match and comforted Harry alone.
In the blink of an eye, the Christmas holiday is approaching, and students are gathering in groups of three or five, chattering about what to do after the holiday.
In addition to Aries and Harry, Hermione and Ron will also stay in school for Christmas. In the last week of the semester, students in the third grade and above can go to Hogsmeade village again.
"I can buy Christmas presents for Mum and Dad in Hogsmeade," Hermione said happily. "They love the sweets in Honeydukes' room."
On Saturday morning, Aris, Hermione and Ron said goodbye to Harry, who looked depressed, and walked towards Hogsmeade village.
Aries and his two companions went to Honeydukes first. Aries also wanted to pick out some interesting candies for Ariana as a Christmas gift.
Just as the three of them were discussing whether to bring back some bloody lollipops for Harry, Harry's voice sounded faintly behind them: "Come on, guys, I don't have such a strong taste."
"Oh! Of course, let Harry choose..." Hermione said, and then realized something was wrong, she screamed: "Harry!? What are you doing here? No... why are you here? I mean, you shouldn't be here!"
"Calm down, Hermione," said Aris, "I told you, Harry will find a way to get here. Our Mr. Potter is not a student who follows the rules."
"So," said Ron, "how did you get here? Did you learn to sneak?"
"Obviously, no," said Harry, showing his companions a piece of worn parchment in his arms, and said mysteriously:
"This is the Marauder's Map of Hogwarts. Fred and George gave it to me. It can show me everything about Hogwarts. I followed its guidance and came here through a secret passage. I bet that even Filch doesn't know about that secret passage."
Ron said in a sour tone: "I really don't know if you are their younger brother or I am their younger brother..."
"You're not going to keep it for yourself, are you?" said Hermione worriedly. "You're going to give it to Professor McGonagall, aren't you?"
"What are you crazy about?" Ron said with his eyes wide open, "Why would you hand over such a good thing?"
Harry nodded and said, "If I hand it over to Professor McGonagall, Fred and George will be in trouble. They helped me, and I can't let them be punished."
"How about we both report Harry, Miss Know-it-all," Aris said teasingly. "What do you think of this suggestion?"
Hermione glared at Aris and was about to say something, but Ron dragged Harry to buy candy.
Aries patted Hermione on the shoulder and said quietly, "Harry has an instinctive obsession with breaking school rules. You know that."
The four of them bought a lot of candies. With the special handbag made by Erisse, they had no problem putting all the candies in. When the four of them left Honeydukes' house, there was a blizzard outside.
At this time, Hogsmeade village was as beautiful as a Christmas card, but Harry was obviously not in the mood to appreciate it. He came in too much of a hurry, and his clothes were a little thin.
Aris took out his wand and waved it. The snowflakes around Harry fluttered and gathered, slowly turning into a thick, black plush cloak, which was draped over Harry. "Put on the hood," Aris said, "You shouldn't be here, Harry. It's better to be cautious."
Harry put on his hood, and no one outside could tell that the person under the hood was Harry. Aeris also cast some clever constant temperature magic to keep the temperature around the four people constant so that they could not feel the cold brought by the blizzard.
The four best friends in Hogwarts ignored the snowstorm and went out to play in Hogsmeade village.
