Crossing the Other World: My Warcraft System
Chapter 483: Reconstruction of Shattrath
In the eighth year after the fall of Shattrath, it returned to the embrace of the Holy Light. Maraad led the reorganized Legion of the Flame of Light into the ruins of Shattrath.
The remaining priests of the Aldor brought the Draenei refugees out to the bridge connecting the center of Shattrath and the city wall, and began to clear the rubble on the road to welcome the two Naaru into the city!
Compared to the Draenei's celebration, the Broken Ones in the shadows were sad and on the sidelines. Eventually, their two leaders split up. Nobundo chose to go to Tuurem in the east to contact the Kurenai, while Akama chose to lead his men away from Shattrath City. He believed that although this place was illuminated by the Holy Light again, it no longer belonged to the Broken Ones!
Isana, the high priestess of Aldor, led the remaining priests of the Holy Light to meet the two Naaru, and then served as a guide with Garin and others into the city of Shattrath.
As the former cultural and economic center of the Draenei, the city of Shattrath covers a very large area, and now two-thirds of it has been destroyed in the war.
The entire city is circular with a huge dome square in the middle. The dome has four passages leading to the outside world, namely the east, south, west and north. The north gate leads to Zangarmarsh and Gorgrond. The east is the direction where Galen and his party entered. The south and west lead to two high platforms in the city, which are the later rebuilt Aldor Highlands and Astrologer's Terrace.
There is also a back gate from Aldo Heights that leads directly to Naglan Prairie.
After entering the city, Garin looked at the silt under the overpass and wondered why Shattrath was built so strangely. Until Maraad told Garin that there was originally sea under the overpass, the city once had a huge dock. Before Zangarmarsh changed, the sea level reached the edge of the Square of Light at its highest. It was definitely a city on the sea.
The four sky bridges were built to facilitate the Draenei to leave the city, connecting the Dome of Holy Light and the city walls. Otherwise, the residents would need to take a boat to reach the outside of the city!
Later, the Zangar Sea changed. Garin guessed that it was a spore invasion. Once, huge spore whales lived in the Zangar Sea, maintaining a unique ecological environment. However, as the orcs used fel magic to pollute the Zangar Sea, not only was the water lost rapidly, but spore whales died in large numbers, and the spore life living on them rioted, and eventually it became today's Zangarswamp.
This put Garen in a dilemma. Now that the Zangar Sea was gone, where should he build the shipyard in Draenor?
With the presence of the two Naaru, Garen naturally got the ownership of the city, and the Aldor priests and Maraad did not object. Of course, the Crusaders and the Draenei still ruled jointly in name, but Garen could rebuild the broken city as a new stronghold according to his own wishes.
Although he had gained control of Shattrath City, Garen still had to give face to Velen. Through K'ure's mouth, he appointed Maraad as the governor of Shattrath City. At the same time, he transferred the Thunder Legion and the Gale Legion out of the city, leaving only the Flame of Light as the city's defense force.
At the same time, the Crusaders only occupied the high ground in the southwest corner as a stronghold and named it Crusader Hill.
Except for Crusader Rise as his stronghold, Garen returned all other places to the Draenei and allowed them to rebuild.
The city of Shattrath was recovered very quickly, and the outcome was basically decided in one battle, while the other six legions were still on the march.
However, the Battle of Shattrath also marked the beginning of Garen's dominance over Draenor.
The battle has begun in the southwest of the Talador Jungle, on the Nagrand Prairie.
Lantresor Fireblade led the Stonefist Ogres to launch a massive attack on the Mar'gok Outpost in the south. They had been fighting bloody battles with the ogres there for several days. The Mar'gok Ogres could not withstand the assassination of the Half-Blood Swordmaster, and fled in all directions after their morale collapsed.
The old and weak orcs of the Warsong Clan who remained in Grommash Fortress were all orcs who did not follow Grom Hellscream to Tanaan Jungle to drink demon blood. With the intervention of Garrosh, the young master of the Warsong, more than 50,000 of them joined the Mag'har Clan.
After the Frostwolf Clan was brought back to Nagrand by Galen, under the guidance of the blind shaman, G'el passed the test of the elemental spirits and was elected by everyone as the new chief of the Frostwolf Clan.
Anyway, Garin didn't understand. The elemental spirits who participated in the test were their own people. The blind shaman's test of Gu'ir was just a formality and a wasted effort.
The Frostwolf Clan then occupied the city of Tara in the south of the Nagrand Prairie and expelled the Lost Ones of the Darkblood Clan who were entrenched there.
The Elemental Throne in the north has officially changed hands and become the new residence of the four Holy Spirit Elemental Messengers under Garin.
It is said that a long time ago, in order to prevent Draenor from being destroyed by the Spirit of Life, Aggramar used an elemental storm formed by the four elements of fire, wind, water, and earth to turn the highest mountain in Draenor into its own guardian: Grond.
This walking mountain dredged rivers and seas, carved out valleys, and separated the Evergrove, ultimately resulting in the loss of both Gorond and the Spore Swarm.
The Throne of Elements is where the head of the Titan creation Gorond Giant was located after his death. It is also the place where the four original elemental furies of Draenor were born.
Here lies a Titan disc left behind by Aggramar that can unlock ancient energies to enhance the power of the elementals.
Sandra, Baron Geddon, Garr, and Ahune, four elements of Azeroth, stole the authority of the four elemental wraths directly from the throne of elements, replaced their positions, and became the elemental kings of Draenor.
When the reconstruction work of Shattrath City began, two-thirds of Nagrand's area south of the Skysong Lake system came under the rule of the Crusaders and their allies!
The reason why the situation in Nagrand is so smooth is all thanks to Grom Hellscream and his Warsong Warriors.
They fought day and night with the remnants of the Gorian Ogre Empire entrenched in the northwest of Nagrand, successfully crippling their army and forcing them to retreat into their own Overhanging Fortress and not dare to show their heads.
As far as Garin knew, Highmaul was the power center of the Gorian Empire and the most legitimate successor after the empire split.
This Ogre Empire was the third overlord of Draenor after the Gorond and the Arakkoa Empire until the emergence of the Draenei.
This giant city completely overturned the image of ogres as barbaric and stupid. They were once a developed civilization with bustling markets in the fortress, wealthy nobles, and huge cheers from the audience in the arena echoing in the streets of the slums.
The castle of Prince Margok casts a long shadow that can be seen from any corner within the city walls, signaling his watchful eye and cruel iron fist.
But later, under the tough attack of the Warsong Clan, they began to decline.
The ogres of the Overhanging Keep are almost the strongest among all the ogres. Of course, there is also a group of ogres called the Bladespire Clan that are doing well. Compared with these noble heirs of the Ogre Empire, the hundreds of ogres under Garin and the Stonefist Ogres are at most a group of country bumpkins.
In the original time and space, Stromgarde was conquered by the Stonefist ogres and became slaves of the orcs. In the end, one third of the city was occupied by them. No matter what the reason was, it was embarrassing to think about it.
