HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 136: Win people’s hearts

Draco reluctantly raised his cup, and the rim of the cup lightly touched Ginny and Sigma's cups, making a crisp sound.

His eyes were complicated, showing reluctance, mixed with a hint of subtle curiosity and recognition.

"For...valor."

He said this dryly, quickly downing the juice, as if eager to end this slightly embarrassing ritual for him.

Ron held the cup, his fingers gently stroking the rim of the cup, his Adam's apple rolled a few times, and finally turned into a low "Cheers".

His eyes moved between Cygnus and Draco, his inner struggle and conflict clearly visible.

Ginny's cheeks were slightly flushed. She shyly raised her glass to Cygnus, her voice as thin as a mosquito: "Thank you, Cygnus, really...thank you very much."

Harry sat aside, holding the cup tightly in his hand, with an imperceptible gloom in his eyes.

He observed the scene silently, feeling mixed emotions.

Harry knew that Ginny's gratitude towards Cygnus was genuine, but he also realized that behind this gratitude, there might be deeper emotions quietly sprouting.

Jasmine's eyes moved gently over Cygnus and Draco, her heart filled with love and appreciation.

She chuckled and said, "Look at you. What a beautiful picture, Cygnus. You are such a special girl. No matter where you come from, you have shown true courage and kindness."

There was a hint of regret in her smile as she turned to look at her sons, thinking to herself: "My boys, when will you learn to cherish such a good girl."

Fred and George exchanged glances, and seemed to have read something from their mother's eyes. They both stopped laughing and looked serious.

They know that although their mother is usually tolerant of them, she can always point out the problem at the critical moment.

It was late at night, and the forest surrounding Hogwarts was gently wrapped in a layer of mist. The moonlight shone through the sparse clouds and sprinkled on the narrow path of the Burrow.

Draco and Segnus walked side by side, their shadows lengthened in the moonlight, occasionally intersecting, occasionally separating, as if silently telling the subtle changes in their relationship.

"Okay, let's start from here."

Draco stopped and pulled out a gleaming portkey from his pocket. It was a seemingly ordinary silver feather, but it contained magical power that connected two places.

Just then, a burst of hurried footsteps broke the silence of the night, and Ron caught up, panting, with a rare seriousness on his face.

"Wait a minute, Draco, Cygnus, I need to say something."

Draco raised his eyebrows, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes, while Cygnus turned around and looked at Ron gently, waiting for his next words.

"Look, I know my attitude was terrible,"

Ron took a deep breath, his eyes sincere, "I want to apologize to both of you, especially to you, Sensei. You saved Ginny, but I misunderstood you because of my prejudice. And Hermione, I have never given her the support and understanding she deserves."

Ron's voice trembled slightly, and it was obvious that these words were not easy to say.

Segnus shook her head slightly, the moonlight illuminating her gentle face, and she smiled:

"Ron, I have never blamed you. Everyone has their own growth process. What's important is what we can learn from it, isn't it?"

Draco's lips curled up into a playful smile, and just as he was about to speak, Cygnus gently held his arm.

"Ron, we all feel your kindness."

Segnus looked at Draco, who was somewhat unwilling but tactfully shut his mouth, but there was still a lingering smile in his grey eyes.

"That's enough for tonight. We should really go back."

Ron nodded, and seemed to feel a lot more relaxed after his confession.

"Well, be careful on your way, Sensei. If possible, give a message to Hermione for me, tell her..."

Having said this, he suddenly paused, frowned, and seemed to be looking for the most appropriate words.

Cygnus waited patiently, the night breeze blowing gently through her hair, and her eyes encouraged Ron to continue.

"Tell her I will try to do better."

Ron finally chose this simple yet sincere sentence.

After saying that, he scratched his head embarrassedly, with a blush on his cheeks.

"Ron, some things are more meaningful when said face to face. I believe Hermione would prefer to hear you say it to her in person. Besides, this is also part of your growth, isn't it?"

Draco snorted lightly, but this time he didn't make any more teasing remarks. He just looked at Ron with a complicated look, then turned to Secenas, and was rarely surprised by Ron's transformation.

Draco and Sensei gradually disappeared into the night, leaving Ron standing there, looking in the direction they left, with mixed feelings in his heart.

He secretly resolved to be a better version of himself, not only for Hermione, but for himself as well.

The outline of Malfoy Manor looked solemn and mysterious in the moonlight, and the tall iron gate opened silently as they approached.

Draco led Cygnus through the manicured gardens, both silent as they walked, each lost in their own thoughts.

Finally, Draco stopped beside a fountain, the water droplets dancing in the moonlight, flashing silver light.

"Sometimes, I really don't understand you." He suddenly spoke with a bit of helplessness in his tone, "Why are you so good-tempered towards the Weasleys? You know, our two families are..."

"Because a smile is the most winning weapon, Draco."

Cygnus interrupted him, her voice gentle but firm, "Using kindness and understanding to win not only respect, but also people's hearts, is more powerful than any magic."

Draco frowned, as if he was chewing on Sensenas' words. After a while, he slowly said:

"I... I don't quite understand, but I think this is probably why even in the darkest moments, people will turn to the light."

"Maybe"

Cygnus looked up at the round moon in the sky.

After all, sometimes winning people's hearts can help you do a lot of things.
