At night.

Segnus' room was immersed in soft moonlight. The night outside the window was like a deep ocean, and the twinkling lights seemed like a lighthouse in the hearts of sailors.

She sat quietly by the window, her eyes gazing at the full moon through the layers of branches, with indescribable emotions surging in her heart.

"It's another full moon night."

She whispered to herself, her hand unconsciously touching her chest, where it seemed as if something was tapping gently but not unnoticeably, bringing waves of hidden pain.

This feeling was both familiar and unfamiliar, and made her frown involuntarily.

"what happened……"

Cygnus muttered to herself, trying to make sense of this sudden discomfort.

She had no memory of a similar experience, but there seemed to be some kind of message hidden in the pain.

As she was lost in her own thoughts, there was a soft knock on the door, interrupting her musings.

"Sister, are you okay?" Draco's voice came from outside the door, with a hint of imperceptible worry.

She quickly adjusted her mood and put on a nonchalant expression, "I'm fine, come in."

The door opened gently and Draco stepped into the room, his eyes keenly catching the subtle changes in Cygnus' expression.

"Are you sure? You don't look right."

Segnus shook his head, a hint of fatigue inadvertently revealed between his brows.

"Nothing, maybe it's just that the moonlight tonight makes me feel a little more melancholy. What about you? It's so late, what do you want to talk to me about?"

Draco did not answer immediately, but slowly sat down beside Cygnus' bed, his eyes passing through the dark room to the bright moon.

"Actually, I've been feeling uneasy lately, and I feel like something is about to happen."

Cygnus tilted her head slightly, her eyes gently falling on her brother's face. She reached out and gently patted the back of Draco's hand.

"I think you've just been under a lot of stress lately. Take a break and everything will be fine."

Draco sighed deeply when he heard this.

"I hope so, sister. Maybe I just need a good sleep."

After saying that, he stood up and prepared to leave.

"Go to sleep, Draco. When you wake up tomorrow, everything will be a fresh start."

Draco nodded, turned and left. The door was closed gently, and Cygnus was left alone in the room again, in the moonlight night.

As Draco's footsteps faded away, Cygnus's thoughts became more confused.

She closed her eyes, trying to calm the inexplicable confusion in her heart.

An unprecedented feeling came over her, as if her emotions were being quietly taken away by some force, leaving her with a sense of emptiness and confusion.

Segnus still wanted to resist the inexplicable loss of emotion, but the power in her body seemed not to be under her control.

Her fingers gripped the edge of the windowsill so tightly that her nails almost dug into the wood, trying to hold on to the last bit of clarity.

However, the struggle only lasted for a moment. A strong feeling of dizziness suddenly hit her, and her world spun before her eyes, eventually falling into endless darkness.

---

When the first ray of morning light penetrated the gap in the curtains and gently brushed across Segnus' face, she slowly opened her eyes.

The world outside the window has changed from the quiet night to the busy early morning.

She sat up. Last night's abnormality seemed like a dream, leaving only a slight uneasiness in her heart.

"Sister, are you awake?"

Draco's voice was heard as there was a slight knock on the door.

"Yes, it's getting late, we should get ready to go back to Hogwarts.

On the Hogwarts Express, in the Malfoy family's exclusive compartment, Cygnus sat quietly on the soft seat, her eyes passing through the passing scenery and fixed on the blurred horizon in the distance.

Draco sat next to her, occasionally stealing glances at his sister, the worry in his heart not completely dispelled by her waking up.

He always felt like something was going to happen.

“Is there any room here?”

Instead of waiting for Bryce and others, an uninvited guest came.

Gareth looked at the two people in the box with a smile, his silver hair draped gently.

He seemed very different today than usual, smiling harmlessly, his gentle eyes falling quietly on Segnus.

A nameless anger surged in Draco's heart. He hated the way Selwyn looked at Cygnus.

"I think you are not welcome here, please leave for a moment"

Draco lowered his voice and drove Gareth away. The latter was not angry, but just looked at Cygnus, waiting for her answer.

Sensenas, who had been quietly looking out the window, finally retracted her gaze and looked indifferently at Gareth who was standing at the door.

"Let him in, Draco."

Draco, who was still hostile to Gareth, opened his eyes wide in disbelief when he heard this, and subconsciously shouted: "Sister..."

Gareth ignored the dazed Draco and walked straight to the seat opposite Sensei and sat down.

"I'm glad you didn't chase me away, Sister Cygnus."

Upon hearing these words, Segnus frowned. She knew that she should be disgusted by these words, but for some reason, she did not feel disgusted at all.

Seeing that Gareth had already sat down, Draco sat aside angrily, staring at the former with vigilant eyes.

The door of the box opened again, and Theodore stood outside the door looking at the three people in front of him.

Gareth's silver head stood out among the two platinum heads.

“I think I came at the right time”

Theodore smiled and walked over to Gareth and sat down. Gareth moved inward habitually, and now he was face to face with Cygnus.

Draco suddenly felt emboldened when someone arrived. He stood up and looked down at Gareth with an air of superiority, his tone full of arrogance.

"Selwyn, you can see that we have people here and there will be more soon. I hope you can have some self-awareness and leave on your own initiative."

After saying this, Draco subconsciously looked at Sensenas, and when he saw that she didn't react, he felt relieved.

Gareth then asked the question to Seignus, "What do you think, Sister Seignus?"

Segnus didn't say much, and didn't even bother to look at him. She closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.

Gareth, who did not receive an answer from Sensenas, clenched and unclenched his hands under the table, then turned to Theodore with a smile.

"Senior Nott, please move aside."

Theodore closed the book, stood up and stepped back. Gareth left his seat and gave Cygnus a meaningful look before leaving.

This glance happened to fall into the eyes of Theodore, who had been observing Gareth. He covered his eyes quietly, with a thought spreading in his eyes.
