HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 9 Transfiguration Class in Progress

In the early morning light, Cygnus jumped out of bed energetically and gently woke up Pansy and Isabella who were still asleep.

She tiptoed to the desk and her eyes fell eagerly on the "Guide to the Development of Modern Wizards".

Pansy rubbed her eyes, looking puzzled, yawned loudly and said, "It's the first day of school, so we don't have to work so hard, right?"

As she spoke, she sat up lazily, using the pillow for support, looking like she was not fully awake yet.

Cygnus looked at Pansy and smiled. "A new semester and a new beginning means new opportunities. We should seize every new starting point, right?"

Isabella also woke up at this time. She half sat up, combed her messy hair with her fingers, and said jokingly:

"You two are two extremes. Senus wishes she could spend every day immersed in books, while you, Pansy, wish you hadn't learned the word."

When she finished speaking, all three of them laughed.

As the three of them were chatting and laughing, there was a knock on the door. Segnus quickly walked to the door and opened it.

Draco leaned against the door with a wronged look on his face, his brows furrowed and full of dissatisfaction.

"Sister, why don't you wake me up? In the past at Malfoy Manor, you always woke me up on time."

Cygnus smiled and comforted him, "Don't worry, Draco. I just want everyone to rest for a while. It's still early. Wait for me while I change my clothes."

He closed the door gently, turned and walked to the wardrobe, picked out a dark green Slytherin robe and put it on.

Pansy and Isabella also started to get busy. After a while, they both changed their clothes, took the textbooks they would need today, and walked out of the dormitory.

Outside the door, Draco skillfully took the book from Cygnus, his eyes full of anticipation.

He reached out and took Segnus's hand, as if he could find a sense of security in this way.

Cygnus smiled knowingly and patted Draco's shoulder gently.

At this time, Blaise was sitting on the sofa, leaning against Theodore, watching Draco's every move, and couldn't help but smiled and said, "Draco, you are really a little kid who never grows up."

Theodore was sitting aside, flipping through the book in his hand. When he heard Blaise's words, he looked up and saw Segnus coming out of the dormitory.

Draco did not respond to Blaise's words, but held Cygnus' hand tightly and walked towards the auditorium.

Seeing this, Bryce felt that he was asking for trouble, so he stood up, shrugged his shoulders, and followed Segnus's pace.

He walked at the end of the team, his hands in his robe pockets, looking nonchalant.

At this time, Theodore closed the book in his hand, coughed lightly, straightened his robe, and then took a step forward to catch up with the team.

Isabella and Pansy walked towards the auditorium, arm in arm and talking intimately.

Pansy kept rubbing her eyes, looking like she wasn't fully awake yet.

Isabella walked gracefully with a gentle smile on her face.

Along the way, students walked towards the auditorium in an endless stream, all wearing bright robes representing their respective colleges, forming a beautiful landscape.

Walking into the hall, the air was filled with the aroma of food. Draco pulled out a chair at the Slytherin table for Seconas and sat down next to her.

The others sat down around Segnus, and the first thing Theodore did after they sat down was to carefully wipe the tableware for Segnus.

Blaise was cutting the bread gracefully. He smiled and said, "The first class is Transfiguration. How did you prepare for it?"

"I read a little yesterday, no problem," replied Cygnus.

As she spoke, she picked up the cup and took a sip of the steaming milk.

Theodore nodded and said, "Me too. Transfiguration is not a difficult problem for me."

After saying this, he handed Cygnus a piece of bread covered with jam.

Draco, on the other hand, looked relaxed, "As long as I have hands for Transfiguration, I'll be fine, don't worry."

Pansy suddenly cried out, looking worried. "To be honest, I was too lazy yesterday and didn't watch anything. Now I'm screwed."

Her words made everyone laugh, and Segnus comforted her:

"It's okay. Transfiguration is mainly practical. If you listen carefully in class, there shouldn't be any problem."

At this time, Segnus looked around and did not see Daphne.

Seeing this, Pansy guessed, "Maybe Daphne has already gone to the classroom. She always likes to arrive early."

Segnus nodded, without further hesitation, and elegantly finished the jam bread in her hand.

After breakfast, she looked again and found that Daphne had not appeared yet, so she said decisively: "Then let's go too, don't let Daphne wait too long."

After saying that, he led the group towards the Transfiguration classroom.

Walking into the Transfiguration classroom, Segnus immediately spotted Daphne sitting in the front row, who nodded at her, indicating that she was in her place.

There was an open copy of "Basics of Transfiguration" on Daphne's desk. It was obvious that she had reviewed today's lesson content in advance.

They found their seats quickly. Today they were going to attend classes with Gryffindor students, with students from the two houses each occupying half of the classroom.

Cygnus sat next to Daphne, with Pansy, Isabella and Draco taking seats behind her.

The classroom was bustling with activity, with the Gryffindor students wearing bright red robes that contrasted sharply with the dark green of the Slytherins.

Theodore and Blaise sat next to Cygnus, Blaise casually crossed his legs, looking relaxed.

In the classroom, a lazy cat walked slowly up to the podium, and at the urging of the bell, Harry and Ron stumbled into the classroom.

"Oh my god, I almost died!" Ron patted his chest with lingering fear.

"Imagine how horrified Professor McGonagall will be."

On the side, Draco watched the show leisurely and laughed in his heart, thinking that this guy's brain was really slow.

At this moment, the cat suddenly transformed into Professor McGonagall's true form, leaving Ron speechless with shock.

"Really cool"

"Thank you for your compliment, Mr. Weasley, but I think I can turn you and Mr. Potter into a pocket watch, so that at least you two won't be late," said Professor McGonagall seriously.

'We are lost'

"Then we should turn you into a map. I don't think I need a map to find my seat."

Harry and Ron sat awkwardly in their Gryffindor seats, while Professor McGonagall returned to the podium.

Professor McGonagall's voice, gentle but firm, echoed throughout the room: "Today's challenge is a little special. We have to turn matches into needles. Remember, when casting the spell, imagine the fine structure of the needle."

In a tense and exciting atmosphere, Cygnus gently waved his wand.

The match magically transformed in her hands into an exquisite embroidery needle.

"Oh, look at the craftsmanship!" Professor McGonagall exclaimed, her eyes full of admiration for Sensenas. "Ten points for this perfect stitch!"

Draco was still thinking hard.

His match remained stubbornly still, causing his brow to furrow.

Brace and Theodore also succeeded in their task, and their needles became so refined that one could even see the fine threads on the needle tip.

At the other end of the classroom, Hermione's match was also slowly changing. Although it had not yet completely become a needle, it had already taken shape.

This scene made Professor McGonagall very happy. She secretly sighed: This class of students is really good. The future of Hogwarts is settled.

At the other end of the classroom, Hermione Granger's matches also changed, which made Professor McGonagall feel warm in her heart.

This group of freshmen is truly a place of hidden talents.

Before the get out of class ended, Cygnus taught Draco and Pansy how to turn matches into needles, although her skills were still far inferior to hers.

There was no change on Harry and Ron's side.

After class, Hermione folded her books neatly, then picked them up and walked towards Seconas.

She knew that if she wanted to learn Transfiguration well, Cygnus was undoubtedly the best teacher.

Ron hurriedly called her and asked with a puzzled look:

"Hermione, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to betray Gryffindor?"

Hermione stopped helplessly, turned to look at Ron, and explained:

"Ron, you misunderstood. I just want to learn from Sensenas. Look at our matches. They are still matches, not needles. Sensenas's ability is obvious to all. Isn't she worthy of our learning?"

Ron retorted angrily: "But we can ask Professor McGonagall for advice! Do we have to ask Slytherin's venomous snake?"

Hermione shook her head slightly and said patiently, "Ron, Professor McGonagall is great, of course, but Seconas is also very good at Transfiguration. I think it won't hurt to learn more."

The two of them were arguing endlessly, and Harry Potter hurried over to smooth things over: "Okay, stop arguing, Hermione, go ahead, Ron, let's go find Professor McGonagall too, maybe we can learn more."

Hermione smiled gratefully at Harry, then turned and continued on her way.

Ron still looked angry, but after Harry's persuasion, he finally went with him to find Professor McGonagall.

Cygnus saw Hermione approaching and gave her a gentle smile, "Sweetheart, how can I help you?"

Hermione blushed, she looked at Cygnus with admiration and whispered:

"Signus, I think you're amazing. Can you teach me how to transform into a needle? I want to improve on my Transfiguration skills."

Silence nodded in agreement, picked up a match, and began to explain it to Hermione in detail.

"First, you need to concentrate your mind and focus on the match. Imagine it is a needle. Imagine every detail clearly, from the inside out."

As she spoke, she gently waved her wand and the match magically turned into a needle in her hand.

Hermione watched intently and listened attentively.

Cygnus continued:

"When casting a spell, the wand must be steady, the movements must be smooth, and the spell must be pronounced clearly and forcefully. Now, try to do it yourself."

Hermione carefully picked up a match, followed Senseis' instructions, concentrated, and began to try.

Her wand drew a graceful arc in the air, and the match gradually changed in her hand.

Sensenas watched Hermione's every move and nodded in praise from time to time.

"Yes, that's it, stay focused and don't get distracted."

Hermione's match began to grow thinner, gradually approaching the shape of a needle.

Suddenly, Hermione shook her wand and the matches returned to their original shape.

She sighed in frustration, but Cygnus encouraged her, "Don't be discouraged, Hermione. Transfiguration takes time and patience. You've done very well. Try again. I believe you can succeed."

Hermione regained her confidence and tried again.

This time, her movements were steadier and her incantations were more powerful.

The match miraculously turned into a needle in her hand, and although the shape was a little crude, it was a significant improvement.

When Ron saw Hermione and Secona chatting animatedly, his anger surged up again.

"Hermione, you're such a traitor!" Ron muttered angrily.

Harry hurriedly grabbed his arm and comforted him softly: "Don't be like this, Ron, Hermione just wants to ask some questions, it's no big deal."

But Ron seemed to still be upset. He glared at Seconas fiercely, then walked out of the Transfiguration classroom.

Hermione sighed and shook her head gently, "Ron always has a bad temper and gets angry easily. I really don't know what to do with him."

While sorting the books, Segnus comforted her softly:

"Maybe Ron is just a little bit angry, but he also has some good qualities that we haven't discovered yet. Give him some time, I believe he will gradually understand you."

Hermione suddenly felt that Cygnus was a really caring and gentle little angel. She couldn't help but wonder: Why couldn't Ron see the good in Cygnus?
