Naruto: We are invincible

Chapter 191 Murder

"I have received the order." Sai thought to himself.

He watched the scroll in front of him turn to ash, then turned to look at Naruto and Hinata sleeping under a tree.

With his secret training in the Root Organization, he began to formulate a plan.

As slowly and quietly as the night, he took out the items needed to carry out the mission from his backpack: he drew his dagger and placed it on the ground; then he took out a small bottle from his backpack. There was a label with a skull on it. It was a bottle of poison; finally, he took out a transparent, almost invisible silk thread.

Let this girl die from poison. Even if she is an excellent medical ninja, with medical skills comparable to or even better than Tsunade-sama, she will not have time to neutralize this poison in her sleep.

Sai took the thread and poison, jumped onto the tree, and stood directly above Hinata. He took out the thread and pointed it at her lips. Then he took the poison and dripped a drop of poison onto the thread.

Sai stared at the drop of purple venom, watching it move slowly along the silk thread.

When the venom reached the end of the thread, it dripped down and right into Hinata's mouth.

Hinata seemed to feel something dripping on her lips. She licked her lips subconsciously, turned over, and continued to sleep as if nothing had happened.

Sai put away the thread and picked up the dagger.

Since Naruto is a Jinchuriki, poison has no effect on him.

In fact, it is difficult to kill a Jinchūriki unless you chop off his head or pierce his heart.

But this guy is sleeping soundly now.

Sai gripped the dagger tightly, aimed at the target, and then jumped down from the tree.

The dagger gleamed coldly in the moonlight, and Sai pointed it at Naruto's heart and stabbed it hard. The sharp blade pierced Naruto's chest, deeply embedded in his heart, and cut off his artery.

Naruto's eyes suddenly opened and his mouth opened slightly, but no sound came out and he died instantly.

Sai stood up, leaving the dagger on Naruto's chest, and turned to Hinata. He placed a finger on her neck to check her pulse.

He didn't feel any beats.

He breathed a sigh of relief, turned to his backpack, and took out a scroll and drew a bird on it.

"Go to Danzo-sama." Sai said to the bird. The bird flapped its wings and flew into the night sky.

Sai turned around, packed up his things, and prepared to leave the forest.

"You really have pushed Danzo's limit."

When Sai heard this, he froze in place.

He turned around suddenly, looking for the source of the sound, but only saw a pair of scarlet eyes shining in the darkness, and three black magatama spinning rapidly in the eyes.

Sai quickly turned to look at the bodies of Naruto and Hinata, but found that they were gone.

"It's an illusion!" Sai muttered to himself. "When did it start?" Sai asked, tightening his grip on the short sword that had returned to his hand at some point.

The man with the Sharingan stepped out of the shadows and emerged into the moonlight.

Naruto and Hinata also walked into the clearing. They were unharmed, but their faces were full of anger.

"You ask when we started?" Naruto asked with a sneer.

"My good friend." Hinata said with a smile, "The moment you left the Konoha Hokage building, you were already caught in my illusion." Hinata explained and Sai was stunned.

"Lady Tsunade has already warned us, I don't want to take any chances." A cold light flashed in Naruto's eyes.

Sai swallowed nervously and suddenly felt dizzy. He threw away the dagger and fell to the ground. His pupils were dilated and his eyes were empty, as if he was staring into the endless void.

"What bad luck! Why does this always happen to us?!" Naruto thought helplessly. He sighed deeply, raised his head and looked at the dark night sky.

There is a full moon tonight, and the bright moonlight fills the entire forest.

The leaves rustled in the cold night breeze and Naruto sighed again.

He turned to look at Hinata, who also seemed to be in deep thought, her eyes fixed on Sai, as if she was trying to solve a puzzle.

"What should I do with you?" Naruto rubbed his temple and said to himself.

"In order to complete this stage of the exam, he can't die yet." Hinata reminded, signaling Naruto not to act rashly.

"I'll keep him under control and take him out of the game once we get to the tower." Naruto said and Hinata nodded.

"What about Danzo?"

"I suggest we wait and see what happens, and then make plans," Hinata suggested, and Naruto nodded.

"Sai, can you still walk?" Naruto asked.

Sai nodded dully.

"Very well, let's get back to the tower," Naruto said.

Then the three of them left the clearing.

## In the Tower ##

Naruto, Hinata and Sai arrived at the tower two hours later.

Sai's consciousness is trapped in an illusion. He is now just a puppet and can only obey Naruto's orders.

"Welcome to the Hidden Tower." The ninja guarding the door welcomed Naruto's team. "Did you get the flag?" he asked.

Naruto pulled out two black flags and handed them to him.

"Very good, you can go in and wait here for the exam to end. There are plenty of rooms, you can take a good rest." The ninja explained. Everyone nodded.

"I want to withdraw from the competition." Sai suddenly said. The ninja was stunned.

"What? Are you sure?"

"Yes." Sai replied briefly.

"Okay. Senju Naruto and Senju Hinata will continue to take the third exam. I wish you good luck."

The ninja watched them walk into the tower. Naruto, Hinata, and Sai found their rooms. Then, Sai disappeared in front of Naruto, and he would stay in Naruto's space for a month.

## Day 2 - Root Headquarters ##

Danzo was working on some business in his office when he was interrupted by a sharp bird cry.

He looked up and saw a black and white bird flying towards him.

Danzo pulled out a blank scroll, and the bird flew straight into it, transforming into a line of text.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

"I had full confidence in him from the beginning." Danzo said to himself with a smug smile on his face.

"Wind, take the roots." Danzo tapped the ground with his cane.

Two of his most loyal followers appeared before him in response.

"Activate the Phoenix Project," Danzo ordered.

The two ninjas nodded and then disappeared from the spot.

"Soon..." Danzo smiled sinisterly, "Konoha Village will be engulfed in flames, and a new, more powerful village will rise from the ashes..."
