Naruto: We are invincible

Chapter 262 Prisoners?

"How do you know she is Hinata and not a copy of Shiro?" Tobirama asked warily. He would not easily believe Madara.

"I have confirmed her soul, she is Hinata." Naruto replied, then turned to look at Hinata, "Tell me, what happened? How did you escape?"

"I didn't escape, he let me go." Hinata said calmly, but there was a hint of disbelief in her tone.

"What?! He let you go?!" Tobirama shouted in surprise, "How is that possible? Madara is not the kind of person who would be merciful!"

Hinata nodded. She herself found it unbelievable, but that was the fact. Madara did let her go.

"He said that he captured me for two purposes. The first was to get back his Rinnegan." Hinata continued. Naruto was shocked when he heard it and was about to say something but was stopped by Hinata.

"It's too late, Naruto-kun. He has read my memory and sent a copy of Bai to the hospital to take away the Samsara Eye." Hinata lowered her head and said, her tone full of guilt and self-blame, "I'm sorry, I couldn't protect your eyes..."

"It's not your fault, Hinata. As long as you're safe, nothing else matters." Naruto comforted her gently.

"What about the second purpose?" Hashirama asked.

"He said it was to prepare you." Hinata looked up and said to Naruto.

"Prepare? Prepare for what?" Naruto asked confused.

Hinata shook her head, indicating that she didn't know either.

Honestly, she just wanted to be with Naruto right now, and she didn't care about anything else.

Tsunade motioned for Hinata to explain from the beginning.

Hinata took a deep breath and began to tell her story.

##remember##

Hinata woke up groggily, feeling a sharp pain at the back of her neck, and she tried hard to recall what had happened before.

She tried to rub her neck but found her hands were bound and her legs were tied as well.

"What's wrong with me?" she thought to herself, trying hard to recall what happened before she fell into a coma.

She only remembered being knocked unconscious by Madara, and she couldn't remember anything that happened after that.

She slowly opened her eyes and there was only a dim light bulb in the room.

She looked around, brown walls, wooden floors, and only one door.

"Where am I?" She felt even more uneasy.

She tried to use her chakra to untie the rope, but found that she had no strength. It seemed that her chakra was sealed.

She turned towards the door and heard the voices of Madara and Izuna outside, but they deliberately lowered their voices so she couldn't hear a word.

"...He's...alone." She recognized Madara's voice.

"...power...man..." This time it was Izuna's voice.

"Hinata...directly..." Hinata was shocked to hear her name mentioned in their conversation.

She tried to hear what they were saying, but could catch nothing but fragments of speech.

These scattered words were far from enough to piece together complete sentences for her to understand their conversation.

"… did it… why?" Izuna asked.

"Because...change..." Hinata heard Madara answer, and the conversation ended.

What she heard was no longer conversation, but footsteps approaching.

The door opened and in walked the Uchiha brothers.

They walked straight towards Hinata, not saying a word the whole time. As they approached, Hinata's heartbeat became faster and faster.

"What do you want from me?" Hinata asked, her voice calm and even, not revealing the tension in her heart at all.

On the surface, she tried to remain calm as much as possible, but on the inside she was already in a panic.

"Relax, little girl." Madara replied, sitting cross-legged in front of her. "As for why you were brought here. There are three reasons." Madara said, holding up three fingers. "First, it's obviously to get information. I'm about to start a war, and any information about the enemy is crucial. Second, it's to prepare Naruto." Madara said, and Hinata just stared at him blankly.

"Third, if there is anyone in this world who knows where my Rinnegan is, it must be you." Madara said with a chuckle.

Hinata's eyes widened slightly, trying not to show any emotion.

"I won't tell you anything." Hinata whispered coldly.

"You don't need to say it." Madara grinned and opened his Samsara Eye. He placed a hand on Hinata's head, controlling her movements so that she couldn't struggle.

"Stop!" she screamed, twisting her body to try to break free from his grip.

"Humanity." It was too late. Hinata's eyes became empty and blurry, as if she was in a trance.

Madara quickly scanned her memories until he found what he was looking for.

The Rinnegan is at Konoha Hospital, in the private laboratory where Hinata has been having her eyes examined.

Madara withdrew his hand and took a step back, and Hinata regained consciousness.

"Zetu." Madara summoned, and a white Zetsu emerged from the ground.

"You know what to do," Madara said, and the clone nodded silently.

Zetsu's clone touched Hinata and instantly transformed into her appearance.

"Go and get my eyes back." Madara ordered, and the clone immediately dived underground and rushed to Konoha as quickly as possible.

"Naruto-kun will defeat you, even if you get your eyes back," Hinata replied firmly.

"Girl... who said I wanted to defeat him?" Madara smiled sinisterly, and Hinata looked puzzled. "Don't think you understand my plan." Madara added.

"What now?" Hinata asked, her heart hammering in her chest.

Would they kill her, now that they had the information they wanted?

"Now, all we have to do is wait." Madara said, then turned and walked out the door, leaving Hinata alone in the room.

"Waiting for what?" Hinata asked her question to the empty room. At this moment, the lights on the ceiling went out and she was completely swallowed by the darkness.

## the next day##

She stayed awake all night. Even in the dark, she couldn't stop imagining and thinking about how to escape.

This also allowed her to re-examine the fragility of ninjas after losing chakra from a different perspective.

Naruto and other powerful ninjas, such as Rock Lee and Might Guy, might be able to break free with taijutsu alone.

But Hinata's great power is completely based on chakra.

Her Byakugan requires chakra to activate. Even her Senbon and Kunai require chakra to use, as they are stored in her storage seals.

She sighed and leaned against the wall. There was nothing she could do except wait.

Suddenly, the lights came on, and Hinata squinted at the sudden brightness.

The door opened and Izuna walked in carrying a metal tray.

"Wake up." Izuna joked. "Didn't you sleep well?" He noticed the dark circles under Hinata's eyes.

"Anyway, let's have lunch first." Izuna said, putting the tray on the ground and sitting down in front of her.

"I don't think you're going to unlock my handcuffs?" Hinata asked with a smile.
