Naruto: We are invincible

"Sasuke killed me for his eyes," Sakura sobbed.

She liked... loved that bastard. They grew closer, but only so Sasuke could unlock his Mangekyō Sharingan.

"He does care about you, Sakura." Naruto said sympathetically. Sakura nodded.

"What should we do now?" Naruto turned to Tsunade.

"We hunt him down and execute him immediately," Ya said loudly, and everyone seemed to agree.

"Sakura," Tsunade said, "when did this happen?"

"About eleven o'clock," Sakura replied.

She had calmed down, but still couldn't believe that Sasuke would kill her for power.

"But I don't understand why he left the village," Sakura said in confusion.

"Power," Naruto said, "You know his brother Uchiha Itachi killed their clan members a few years ago, right?" Naruto asked and everyone nodded. "He wants power so that he can kill his brother and avenge his family. This has always been his obsession, his reason for existing. He feels that he is too weak here."

"During the second stage of the Chunin Exams, Orochimaru cast a curse seal on him, giving him strength. If he felt that Konoha was hindering his growth, he would not hesitate to go to Orochimaru." Naruto concluded and Sakura frowned.

"All of you, except Ino, are on an S-rank mission." Tsunade said in a firm voice, standing up from her chair, "You are to find Uchiha Sasuke and bring him to trial. If you cannot bring him back, you are to execute him on the spot and bring back his head."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"He's about 25 kilometers north," Naruto said, raising a hand to make the tiger seal.

"How do you know?" Tsunade asked in surprise.

"During the second stage of the Chunin Exams, Orochimaru placed a curse seal on Sasuke. I placed a restriction seal on him as well as a Flying Thunder God Seal just in case," Naruto explained and Hiruzen was surprised at how thoughtful Naruto was.

"Well, you go straight to him and we'll wait here," Tsunade said, but Naruto shook his head.

"Something is interfering with his curse seal. I can barely feel my seal and it's getting weaker every second. I can't jump to him in this state," Naruto explained, frowning.

"This is better than nothing. Naruto, you lead the team." Tsunade ordered and everyone nodded in agreement.

"Get ready and meet at the north gate in an hour," Naruto ordered.

"Sakura," Naruto turned to her, "you will stay here until the duration of my clone is over. Use this time to say goodbye."

"Thank you, Naruto," Sakura said, hugging everyone, and they left to hunt down the traitor.

## Konoha North Gate - 1 hour later ##

An hour later, everyone gathered at the north gate, ready to hunt down the traitor Sasuke.

Senju Naruto, Hyuga Hinata, Akimichi Chouji, Nara Shikamaru, and Inuzuka Kiba were selected as members of this mission. They were fully armed and ready to go.

"Let's go!" Naruto said, and the team set off quickly.

## Heart of the Fire Nation ##

Naruto and his team ran at full speed towards Sasuke. For some reason, Sasuke seemed to be staying where he was.

"Kiba, can you smell Sasuke?" Naruto asked and Kiba nodded.

"Okay. My mark is gone, now it's your turn." Naruto said and Kiba nodded.

"However, I smelled four other scents in the same direction as Sasuke," Kiba explained and Naruto stroked his chin in thought.

"Sasuke might have help," Naruto said, "What's that smell?" Naruto asked, Ya sniffing the air.

"Like a snake." said Fang.

"It looks like Orochimaru sent help," Naruto reasoned.

"We have to approach them quietly. We don't know what kind of support Orochimaru has sent, so be careful. I'll leave a few shadow clones behind in case we're ambushed. Hinata, use your Byakugan to search for traps," Naruto explained and everyone nodded in agreement.

They carefully approached the source of Sasuke's scent, Hinata had already discovered several traps, which they dismantled easily.

As they approached their destination, Hinata looked around and discovered their location.

The four Sound Ninjas were resting in an open space with a large barrel next to them.

"The symbols on their headbands are musical notes. They must be ninjas from the Hidden Sound Village." Hinata said.

"...It seems that Orochimaru sent helpers to pick him up." Naruto activated the Sharingan and observed them carefully. Although there was some distance, he easily recognized them with the ability of the Sharingan.

"They are the Sound Four," Naruto said, but the others looked confused.

"They are Orochimaru's elite bodyguards and the ones who set up the barrier during the invasion," Naruto explained and everyone nodded.

"Do you think we can defeat them?" asked Ya.

"I sensed their chakra, they are just ordinary chunins. They are no match for me or Hinata," Naruto explained, "Get in position," Naruto ordered, and everyone nodded in agreement.

Naruto quickly left and appeared in a tree a few meters above them, overlooking the Sound Four.

The last one to arrive was Choji, who silently took position as instructed.

Choji accidentally stepped on a twig, causing a loud noise.

"Our sneak attack plan has failed." Naruto muttered to himself.

The four Sound Ninjas immediately jumped up and prepared for battle.

"Time and Space Kamui!" Naruto said, and everything went back to the moment before Choji stepped on the branch.

Naruto quickly flashed to Choji's side. He pointed at the branch on the ground, and Choji scratched the back of his head awkwardly and smiled.

Naruto instantly returned to his original position and everyone waited for his signal to move.

Naruto made a hand gesture, and hundreds of shurikens poured down on the Four Sound Ninjas from all directions, leaving them nowhere to hide.

"Earth Style - Earth Flow Wall!" one of the four Sound Ninjas shouted, and a dome of earth rose from the ground to protect them.

"We knew you would come." Kidomaru said loudly, and the earth dome shattered, revealing the four Sound Ninjas with mocking faces.

Everyone regrouped and Naruto jumped down from the tree, landing in the middle of the team, facing the Sound Four.

"Hinata," Naruto asked, "Is Sasuke in the barrel?" He didn't see Sasuke, but Kiba said he was nearby, so he must be in the barrel.

"Yes," Hinata confirmed, "some changes have occurred to him. Curse seals cover his entire body, his heart rate is very low, and he seems to be in a coma, but his chakra veins are very active."

"That's why my mark didn't work. Looks like they did something to the curse seal," Naruto concluded.

"Our mission is to bring back Uchiha Sasuke, who killed the Konoha ninja. Get out of the way and we will let you live." Naruto said firmly, his Sharingan shining.

"You won't leave alive, and Lord Orochimaru will kill us if we don't hand over the container," Kidomaru replied.

"Container?" Naruto asked confused.

"Orochimaru-sama can transfer his consciousness to another body, and through this he becomes immortal. Orochimaru-sama is immortal," Kidomaru explained with a sneer.

"So he wants Sasuke's body for the Sharingan." Naruto said to himself.

"Wind Demon Fan!" Naruto shouted, his chakra surged. He grasped the handle of the fan with his right hand and swung it vigorously, releasing a powerful storm.

Everything was blown away, trees were uprooted, and the four Sound Ninjas were blown off the ground.

"It looks like he is really angry." Hinata thought.

"Here it comes." Hinata said, and everyone immediately went into a defensive stance. They noticed strange golden projectiles flying towards them.

Hinata quickly jumped in front of the team and performed Kaiten, destroying all the projectiles.

Suddenly, they felt their bodies unable to move. A beautiful melody echoed in the open space. This was a genjutsu that transmitted chakra through sound waves.

Naruto and Hinata quickly saw through and broke the illusion, freeing their teammates.

They looked around and found the Four Sound Ninjas lying on the ground.

Naruto took out the chakra knife, and the blade glowed with a light blue light.

Naruto rushed towards the Four Sound Ninjas alone.
