Chapter 86: Strange Black Ship
Phil Gray slowly scanned the surroundings and discovered that the environment here was very different from that of Gold Coin No. 3, but judging from the layout, they seemed to still be on the ship.
Eli also woke up. He stood up and spoke slowly, "There is a strong smell of death here."
Phil Gray paced, taking in his surroundings.
There were some worn wooden boxes and shelves covered with cobwebs.
The fat man was still mumbling over there, and Viscount Ward kicked him awake.
"Ouch!" The fat man opened his eyes, "Are we saved?"
"do not know."
"Help, where are we?" a sharp female voice came from outside.
Phil Gray pushed open the door and they were now in what seemed to be the ship's storage room.
Outside is a large passage and then the guest bedrooms.
He remembered the screaming woman, who was a passenger on Gold Coin No. 3.
There were only four knights behind Viscount Ward. They were the ones who had been there with them when they went to see the corpse. They dispersed and looked for clues about the current ship.
After a period of searching, all the passengers gathered one after another, and the remaining six knights were also found. They woke up in one of the guest rooms and found that they were no longer on Gold Coin No. 3.
"Where's the Captain?" asked Phil Gray.
"The captain, the first mate and the second mate are driving the ship, but they cannot control their bodies at all, and the ship is heading in an unknown direction." One of the knights said seriously.
"Can't control my body?"
"Yes, I asked them to stop and take a look at our location, but they replied that they couldn't stop," the knight replied.
Viscount Ward was wiping his sword, which was shining brightly. "If it is the undead who are causing trouble, we are not afraid!"
Phil Gray frowned. What on earth had happened? How did he suddenly come to this ship from Gold Coin No. 3?
Eli said softly, "We collided with the black ship, but we were not killed. It was because we entered that ship. I looked at the structure and appearance of the ship. It was the black ship that collided with the Gold Coin No. 3."
"what?"
Hearing this, the fat man showed an expression of disbelief.
"Yes, but now is not a question of where we are. My knights have searched every corner of the ship and found no food or water. If we can't figure out the current situation, or if we can't kill the undead who caused us to enter this ship, all the passengers will starve to death or die of thirst here." Viscount Ward's eyes showed a bloodthirsty light, and he seemed a little irritable.
"What should I do then?" The flesh on the fat man's face trembled. He ran around in panic, looking at the unfamiliar cabin.
Compared with the abundant resources of Gold Coin No. 3, this ship, although sturdy, seemed to have been abandoned for a long time and had no drinking water or food.
Phil Gray put his hand on the wooden wall beside him and thought about the current situation.
What kind of power allowed them to board this ship directly?
Explore the truth behind the death. Is the death of that corpse related to this strange ship?
The other passengers were in a state of confusion, some were calm while others were terrified.
The whole ship was in chaos.
As the deputy captain and a member of the Commercial Church, the fat man was besieged by almost all the passengers. They loudly questioned the fat man why such a thing happened.
The fat man explained in a panic, but he didn't know what was going on.
"I'm from the Church of the Dead. The aura of the undead here is almost so strong that it's almost solidified!" A passenger in a black robe said excitedly. He didn't know whether he was excited or scared.
The other passengers became even more frightened after hearing this. Some female passengers turned pale and almost fell to the ground.
"Quiet, go back to the guest rooms where you woke up, and search carefully for any missed clues!" Viscount Ward shouted, raising the sword high in his hand as a deterrent.
"We have no food and we are almost starving and dying of thirst. What clues are we still looking for?" said a middle-aged man sadly.
He seemed to be a nobleman, dressed in gorgeous clothes but looking a little haggard.
"Shut up! Are you going to starve to death tonight?" Viscount Ward looked at him fiercely, "You won't die even if you starve or thirst for a few days."
"It's okay. I have the habit of storing food. There is still some bread and water in the space stone. I'll give some to you. You can take them back to the house and look for clues. Maybe we can get out tomorrow?" said a bearded man.
A green light flashed in his hands, and he took out several large bags of bread and several jars of water from the space stone.
He appears to be the pastor of Life Church.
Viscount Ward's complexion improved a little, and he ordered several knights to go and help.
Another female passenger offered to share food and took out some preserved fruits and dried meat. Her divine power was golden and she seemed to be from the Cult of the Dawn.
Phil Gray was surprised that they were willing to share under such circumstances.
"Okay? Go back and look for clues! Stop chattering here and being annoying!" Viscount Ward waved his hand and put his foot on a wooden box.
The passengers felt more at ease and left the storage room one after another.
"What should we do? I just went to see the captain and his men. They are like puppets, completely unable to control themselves and don't know where the ship's destination is!" said the fat man in distress.
Phil Gray shook his head. He had no idea at the moment.
"Let's look for more clues."
Phil Gray looked at the storeroom in which he had awoke, and ran his fingers over its suspicious corners.
Eli opened the wooden box and found it was empty.
"What's that over there?" Phil Gray suddenly saw some signs of damage on the ship's plank and a crack, and there seemed to be something stuck in the crack. If you didn't look carefully, you would almost miss it.
Eli's hand flashed a light green light, and a thin branch appeared in his hand. He inserted the branch into the gap with great effort and hooked the thing up.
It was a dark brown card and seemed to be a personal business card.
A vivid portrait of a handsome man with thick eyebrows and big eyes, and next to it is his name - Jeremy Lindbergh.
Who is this?
Phil Gray showed the card in confusion and looked at the people around him.
The fat man was stunned, his eyes widened, "This...Jeremy! He...He is the captain of the Blacktooth Shark!"
"You mean, our ship is the Blacktooth Shark?" asked Phil Gray.
"No... Impossible, you don't know that this ship has been missing for a year! It disappeared in the South China Sea!"
