"I know." Ace looked back at Marco, his brother was the strongest.

When Lucci woke up, he had a splitting headache. "Sachi, it's okay, he's still alive." The nurse said gently.

"That's great." Lucci breathed a sigh of relief. It was great that Thatch was okay. Suddenly, a noise from the deck caught his attention.

"Let me go!" Ace tried to break free from Joz who was holding his arm.

"Stop it, Ace," Marco kept persuading him, "Calm down!"

"Dad said this is a special case and we don't need to chase after Teach!" Joz said, holding Ace's arm.

"Let me go, that guy is my subordinate!" Ace said angrily, "As the captain, how can I not deal with him!"

"Ace, forget it, just this once." Whitebeard stopped Ace who was struggling and said solemnly, "I have a bad feeling."

"That guy hurt his companions and ran away. He received your kindness for decades, but now he has made you lose face!" Ace shouted angrily. "Most importantly, your reputation has been damaged, how can I just sit back and do nothing?"

Ace put the hat on his head and walked towards the railing. "I'll settle accounts with him!"

Even if he transferred his wound to his shadow, would the damage still be so painful after being reduced by half?

"Lucci, this is my responsibility as the captain. I must catch the guy who damaged my father's reputation." Ace said seriously, "And he also hurt you and Thatch. I will not let him go."

"In that case, I'll go with you." Lucci looked up at his father and asked, "Dad, I'll go with Ace."

"No!!" Ace and the other captains shouted with wide eyes.

"Why?" Lucci asked. "I am also the vice-captain of the second team. It is my responsibility to deal with the traitor. Moreover, the traitor Teach hurt Thatch in front of me. No matter what, I still have a score to settle with him."

"Be careful, my sons." Whitebeard stared at the backs of Ace and Lucci as they left.

"Dad, why did you agree to let them go after Teach?" Marco expressed his doubts.

"They are very determined. Ace will go even if we don't agree." Whitebeard took a sip of sake and said, "With Lucci here, Ace won't be so reckless."

Marco said nothing, but just stared at the sea in silence, hoping that nothing would happen.

"Hey, I think I saw a small island." Zoro shouted to the people below from the observation deck.
