【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

Ace and Lucci stood in front of Whitebeard's chair, with Thatch and Marco standing on either side, their expressions extremely serious.

Whitebeard looked down at his sons "My sons, I am sending you along to deal with some pirates on an island that we protect. They have been causing chaos on that island and they need to be dealt with accordingly."

Ace and Lucci both nodded in agreement.

Lucci stepped forward and asked, "When do we leave?"

"Go pack your things first, you will need to leave in a few hours." Sachi said with a smile.

Ace and Lucci nodded and left. Thatch looked at their backs as they left and couldn't help laughing. He quickly caught up with them, put his arms around their shoulders, smiled and said, "This is the first time you've gone out on a mission alone. If you need anything, feel free to contact me."

"Really?" Lucci and Ace looked at each other with a smirk on their faces. "We need your food, lots of meat!"

"Huh?" Thatch pretended to be shocked, then acted sad and exaggeratedly shouted, "My storage room! I thought I could keep it full for a while!"

"Hahahaha!" Ace and Lucci couldn't help but laugh when they saw Thatch's funny expression.

Marco looked at the backs of Thatch and Ace as they left, and a gentle smile appeared on his face. Then he thought of something and turned to look at his father, smiling and asking, "Dad, have you decided?"

"Gulala...Captain of Team Two, Ace will do a great job!" Whitebeard laughed.

A day later, Ace and Lucci finally landed on the target island. To their shock, the island was in chaos. Everyone was screaming and crying loudly, running in panic. The shouts of fear spread throughout the island, and gunshots could be heard everywhere.

The village chief saw the Whitebeard logo on their bodies and ran towards them desperately, "Please help our village! The pirates are preparing to destroy our village, and they have already started to act!"

Lucci nodded, comforted him and reassured him, "Don't worry, village chief, my brothers and I will take care of it."

The pirates spotted them and gradually surrounded them. One of the pirates walked up to them, stared at them, and sneered, "Who the hell are you two? I advise you not to mind your own business!"

Ace's hands were ablaze with flames and a smirk on his face "We are the Whitebeard Pirates, Ace and Lucci. We are here to destroy you so that you can never do any more damage to Daddy's territory again!"

Lucci drew out his sword and looked at the attacking pirates from the opposite side, an excited smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

Soon Ace and Lucci defeated the weaker pirates.

Lucci killed the last pirate on the island and couldn't help but sigh. It took the two of them almost a whole day to completely eliminate the cholera-infected pirates on the island.

He relaxed his tense mind during the battle, looked at Ace not far away, and said jokingly with a relaxed smile on his face, "Ace, I think we should hurry up and report to Marco before his hair turns white."

"Yeah, we've wasted too much time fighting these damn pirates. There are far more of them than I thought!" Ace twisted his knuckles and said angrily, "They are just a bunch of rookies. How dare they attack Dad's territory!"

Lucci nodded and agreed with Ace. There was basically no one in this group of pirates who could really fight against them. They just had the advantage of numbers.

Lucci looked towards the pier, where he could just see the pirates' ship. He turned to Ace and said, "Ace, that should be the pirates' ship. Let's go take a look and see if there is any treasure."

"Okay! I wonder if there will be anything interesting." Ace nodded in response.

The two began to walk towards the pirate ship, Lucci and Ace entered from both sides respectively. Lucci curiously checked the things in the pirate ship. After searching for a while, he did not find what he wanted. When he heard Ace calling him, he directly left the place he was looking for and walked in the direction of Ace.

"What's wrong?" Lucci asked curiously, looking at Ace's back.

"Hey, look, what I found!" Ace had a happy smile on his face and turned to show Lucci the room behind him.

Lucci looked at the pile of treasures behind Ace and couldn't help but feel excited. The treasures almost filled the entire room. "How did these pirates find so much treasure?"

"Hehe! These are all ours now!" Ace said proudly with his hands on his hips.

"But the two of us can't take so much." Lucci looked at the warehouse full of treasures helplessly. They came out in Ace's rocket, which really couldn't hold a lot of treasures. Lucci touched his chin and thought, "Ace, let's rest here for a night and let Dad and the others pick us up tomorrow, so we don't have to carry these treasures."

"Yeah." Ace picked up the treasure on the ground and put it in the pocket next to him, then picked it up and walked towards Lucci, "Let's go, let's go to the village first."

Lucci looked at the bag on Ace's shoulder and instantly understood what Ace meant. He smiled and said, "Let's go!"

Marco paced back and forth in front of Whitebeard's chair, looking at the sea from time to time.

"Son, don't worry. Sooner or later, your hair will turn white because of worry." White Beard said with a smile as he looked at Marco walking around on the deck.

"Dad, they should be back now, but we haven't heard from them yet!" Marco showed a worried look on his face.

Marco picked up the ringing Den Den Mushi. Is this a call from Ace and the others?

"Moshimoshi! Marco, I'm Ace!"

Ace's voice came out from the Den Den Mushi. Whitebeard looked down at the Den Den Mushi in Marco's hand. Did something unexpected happen?

"What happened? You should be on the Moby now, yoi?" Marco asked.

Den Den Mushi's expression changed into that of a mask, and Lucci's voice came out from it, "There are more pirates causing trouble than we thought. It took Ace and I a whole day to completely eliminate them, but we did encounter some trouble!"

Marco and Whitebeard looked at each other, then asked, "What's wrong? Do you need our help?"

"We found a lot of treasure and need help moving it!" Ace's excited voice came from inside.

"Yes, that's the situation." Lucci's calm voice sounded, "Our ship can't carry too much."

"Gulala... You are worthy of being my son!" Whitebeard laughed and was proud of his son.

"We will arrive at your island tomorrow morning." Marco said with a smile, shaking his head.
