"I won't... be defeated by a lion!" Luffy crossed his hands and stretched them forward, then grabbed the lion's head and jumped over it. He didn't want to destroy the puppy's treasure, so he turned around and smashed the lion to the ground on the street. "Rubber... hammer!"

"Rich!!" Mochi shouted in horror, "Who the hell are you!!"

"I ate a rubber fruit." Luffy said

"Devil Fruit?! Just like Captain Buggy!!" Mochi watched Luffy stand up and back away in panic, waving his hands wildly "I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please forgive me!!"

"You don't have to apologize, you wanted to take that dog's treasure, so..." Luffy looked at him angrily "I'm going to beat you up!"

"Wow!! It's stretched again!" Mochi screamed in horror as he looked at the stretched hand.

Luffy stretched out his hand and grabbed the pirate by the collar, pulling him over, then punched him to the ground with his right hand.

Nami looked at Luffy angrily. She had just seen the pirate trying to take away Xiu Xiu's treasure, which made her hate pirates more and more. She couldn't help but rush out and yell at Luffy angrily, "Pirates in the world are all the same. Every pirate is the same. They will rob people of their precious things without hesitation! Before you have a chance to gather your crew to attack a town like this, you might as well let me kill you first!"

Nami yelled and tried to rush towards Luffy to punch him, but the mayor next to her stopped her forcefully, "Little girl, don't do that!"

"You don't have the ability to kill me! Luffy!" Luffy said with his tongue out. Luffy's actions successfully made Nami even more angry.

"Okay, let's give it a try!!" Nami looked at Luffy's back as he left, baring her teeth and shouting angrily.

The mayor pulled Nami even harder and said helplessly, "Come on, little girl! What's wrong with you!"

Luffy walked over to Xiu Xiu and crouched beside it, patting its head and grinning "You did a great job! You saved your treasure! That lion won't come back again!"

The dog looked at Luffy for a moment, then barked.

Luffy smiled when he heard the dog's words "Yeah! You have to try your best too!"

Nami had completely stopped her actions. She felt her anger disappear, replaced by a sense of shame. She suddenly realized that this boy was not fighting for herself or Zoro, but for the puppy. He was different from every pirate. He fought to protect, but she vented her anger on this boy.

"What! Mochi was defeated?!" Buggy shouted angrily, "It's over! I'm going to destroy this town completely!!"

“I’m so… sorry… Captain Buggy…” Mochi barely supported his injured body. He was determined to tell everyone that the Straw Hat Boy was a rubber man. “That… that man… that man… rubber…”

"what?"

"What is Mochi trying to tell us?"

"You're almost done, but you're still insisting on talking about something. What's that?"

"It seems to be "human-like?" What is it?"

Buggy Pirates were talking about it.

"Captain Buggy knows?"

“That bastard!” Bucky shouted angrily, “He actually said I looked like a weirdo!!”

Nami walked towards Luffy, her voice full of apology "Please forgive me for yelling at you just now."

"It's okay! I know you have your reasons, I won't ask." Luffy grinned, then touched his stomach and said, "I'm hungry."

"I can buy you something to eat." Nami said with a smile, she wanted to make up for her previous behavior.

"Really? That's great!" Luffy gave Nami an extremely bright smile.

Nami was stunned for a moment when she saw the smile on his face, and then she showed a happy smile. She already knew that this boy didn't care at all about her yelling at him.

"Mayor" Nami turned to look at the mayor behind her and asked "Do you know where we can eat? I can pay you."

"You don't need to pay. Providing you with food is the only thing I can do." The mayor pointed to the house behind him. "This is my house. Come in."

"Thank you!"

Luffy and Nami happily watched the food being placed on the table and ate it with relish. It wasn't enough for Luffy, but it was free food and he loved free food.

"What brings you to this town?" the mayor asked after telling them the history and construction process of the town. The boy was stronger than he thought, and perhaps he would help the town.

"Looking for the crew." Luffy responded. He had already finished all the food on the table.

"Get the map of the Grand Line." Nami said and took a sip of the tea in her hand.

Luffy turned his head to look towards the door, left his seat, stood in front of Nami and the mayor, took a deep breath to fill his body with air, making him like a balloon. Then a powerful cannonball destroyed an entire row of houses and flew straight towards Luffy's air-filled belly. Luffy's body took a step back, and then the cannonball was bounced off and flew towards the sea.

"They blew up my house!" the mayor said angrily.

"Are you okay?" Nami looked at Luffy with wide eyes in horror. The boy just stood directly in front of them.

"Ah, I'm fine." Luffy put the hat on his head, and then said angrily, "I'm going to beat him up! They will pay the price for ruining my food!"

"You're angry because of food?!" Nami shouted in disbelief, "And it's food you've already eaten! Are you stupid?"

"Ah! Oh no! Zoro is still sleeping in there!" Luffy shouted in panic as he looked at the house that had become ruins.

"Ah~ What a disgusting way to wake up!" Zoro said unhappily as he pushed away the fallen rock that was pressing on him.

"Hey, Zoro, are you still alive? That's great!" Luffy shouted in surprise.

"Hmm!" Zoro covered his headache caused by lack of sleep, then stood up and walked towards Luffy and the others.

"I can't let them destroy this town again! The sudden appearance of uninvited guests... have no right to deprive us of the fruits of our 40 years of hard work! I won't let you do whatever you want! Buggy the Clown! Just wait and see!!" The mayor roared in pain and anger, then ran towards the Buggy Pirates' headquarters with his cane.

"The mayor...is crying..." Nami said softly.

"Really? I didn't see that." Luffy grinned.

"It seems quite lively!" Zoro said with a smile.

"Hehehe, that's right!" Luffy responded with a smile with his hands in his pockets.

"Now is not the time to laugh!" Nami shouted angrily, "We must stop the mayor immediately, or he will be killed!"

"Hehe, it's okay. I like that old man. He gave us food. I won't let him die." Luffy said with a determined look on his face.

"Become our partner! You want sea charts and treasure!" Luffy smiled and stretched out his hand to Nami.

"I will never be a pirate!" Nami angrily hit Luffy's outstretched hand, then said with a smile, "But we can cooperate temporarily for our common goal!"

"Are you going with me?" Nami walked forward and looked at Zoro next to her. "Are you okay with your injuries?"

"It's healed." Zoro said as he looked at the scabbed wound, then grinned and said, "Compared to the wound on my stomach, the damage to my reputation caused by failure is greater!"

"Well, let's go!" Luffy said with a grin, flexing his knuckles excitedly, preparing for the first battle of his voyage.
