Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 11: Not being able to fly doesn’t mean you can’t jump high, the inequality is solved in seco
What Snape was worried about did not happen, because Dudley had already arrived at the flying lesson playground in high spirits.
"Just this little stick?"
Dudley scratched his bald head, which he had shaved into a shiny bald head at some point, and looked at the small broom in his hand in distress.
The broom used as a teaching aid was not a high-end product like the Nimbus 2000, but other students, including the enemy pair of Harry and Malfoy, had successfully summoned the broom and it flew into their hands.
Madam Hooch looked seldom bothered.
"Magic doesn't depend on the size of the object."
"The fact that you were able to enter Hogwarts means that you should have... the most basic magical talent."
"A wizard can't be that stupid, can he?"
After saying this to Dudley, Madam Hooch shook her head.
About half an hour had passed. The talented children were already flying all over the sky on their flying brooms, while the less talented children could at least float in the air.
But Mr. Dudley, who was extremely clever, still did not let the broom fly into his hand.
"Ah, Madam Hooch, look, such a blue sky, such white clouds, what a beautiful day."
"But could you please tell me again? I believe there must be some trick I missed."
Dudley smiled in a simple and honest way, like a harmless old ox.
He really didn't understand. The system had clearly given him the "most basic magical ability", but even though he had shouted until his voice was hoarse, the poor little broom still lay on the ground motionless.
It seems like just an ordinary sweeping broom.
"Dudley Dursley."
Madam Hooch sighed quietly.
"Whatever it takes, I want to see you fly at least ten feet in the air today during my flying lesson."
Rubbing her face, Madam Hooch issued an ultimatum.
She had been a flying teacher at Hogwarts for many years, but she had never seen a student like Dudley before.
"really?"
Dudley's eyes widened.
Then Madam Hooch heard a loud noise.
"boom!"
Professor McGonagall in the tower couldn't help but stand up and look towards the flying class playground. There seemed to be a sturdy figure flying up from the ground.
"Oh, good morning, dear Professor McGonagall, you are young again!"
A simple big face appeared in front of the glass. Before Professor McGonagall could react, a whistling sound was heard, and Dudley's big face disappeared again.
It seems like there is a... broom between her legs?
Professor McGonagall took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes vigorously.
How high did he fly just now?
Twenty feet?
Professor McGonagall would never believe that what she witnessed with her own eyes was flying magic.
But a wizard could do that with just his own body?
Back to the ground, Dudley slammed down heavily in a not very handsome posture.
"Pfft!"
The dirt was splattered everywhere, and the neatly trimmed grass was smashed down by the huge force, leaving only the dirt.
Madam Hooch's eyes widened, and she even forgot to wipe off the mud that accidentally splashed on her face.
"See, isn't this easy? Flying and all that...haha."
Dudley got up from the ground and smiled proudly, cursing the dumb system countless times in his heart.
"Neville's going to fall!"
When the students' voices came, Madam Hooch didn't bother to teach Dudley a lesson in front of her, and hurried over, only to see Neville, who was picked up on the spire, had fallen on the grass in the same posture as Dudley had fallen.
Madam Hooch hurriedly left with Neville, whose fractured bones were broken, and quickly disappeared from the venue.
"Did you see his face? That big fool?"
Malfoy said this triumphantly, still holding the memory ball that fell from Neville. The heartless students couldn't help but burst into laughter, especially some of the Slytherin students.
They were still clear about this matter. In the cafeteria, Malfoy snatched the memory ball that Neville's grandmother had just delivered to him by an owl. Fortunately, Professor McGonagall showed up in time, and Malfoy threw the crystal ball back in indignation.
For some evil-minded students from Snake House, being able to make Gryffindor students lose face is even more joyful than winning the house cup.
"Shut up, Malfoy."
A Slytherin girl named Parvati Patil scolded Draco harshly.
"Heh, protecting Longbottom? I didn't expect you to like chubby little teardrops, Patil."
The speaker was Pansy Parkinson, also a Slytherin.
"bring here."
Harry Potter's voice rang out, and all other arguments died away.
"No, I'm going to hide it and let Longbottom pick it up himself. Maybe put it in a tree?"
Malfoy laughed, and before Harry could say anything, he had already mounted his broom and was flying, soon arriving at the top of an oak tree.
Harry was furious and was about to fly after her, but Hermione stopped him.
"Absolutely not, Harry, think about what Madam Hooch just said."
Although Madam Hooch had said sternly that flying without her permission would be punished, Harry obviously had the traditional virtue of Gryffindor - recklessness. He immediately flew crookedly.
Hermione rolled her eyes vigorously.
"Don't worry, Miss Granger, he has always had a talent for this."
Dudley's voice came, Hermione looked back, then her mouth opened in surprise.
"How come your broom...is broken into two pieces?"
The students around him turned around and saw Dudley holding two brooms with an indescribably awkward smile on his face.
"You know, these things are very...old, so it's normal for them to be damaged."
Dudley was a little embarrassed. When he jumped just now, he didn't control his strength. The broom between his legs groaned miserably in mid-air, and then broke into two pieces. It was obvious that it had no magic power to fly.
Hermione's eyes turned whiter, she wished the people she knew were smarter.
"Look!"
Ron's surprised voice was heard, and everyone looked up quickly. Harry had caught up with the crystal ball and was falling straight to the ground.
It was obvious that although Harry had a talent for flying, he was so angry at Malfoy that he forgot to control the stability of his flight. His head was in a panic and there was a shrill sound of wind around him.
"Is this the talent you mentioned?"
Hermione quickly blamed Dudley, and when she turned around, the burly man who was beside her just now disappeared beside her somehow.
Then, all the freshmen, including Professor McGonagall in front of the tower glass, saw a figure flying into the sky.
He was still holding the frightened Harry in his hands.
And the Longbottom memory ball that almost fell from Harry's hand.
"You can fly without a broom, can't you, dear professor?"
Professor McGonagall looked on in shock. Dudley made a face before him, then hugged Harry in his arms and fell to the ground.
"puff!"
Apparently, the speed of Apparition could only get him to the scene quickly. Professor McGonagall heaved a sigh of relief when she saw the situation clearly.
In the dirt pit where Dudley jumped, the two children were laughing happily, as if they had just experienced a fun game.
And in Dudley's raised hand, the memory ball was shining brightly in the sunlight.
