Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 37 Love and Devotion 1 Family Group members: Vernon, Petunia, Dudley, Harry
Harry was very reluctant to return to the house in Privet Drive. He missed his dormitory at Hogwarts and the small four-poster bed even more.
"Okay, now let's get back to the real world, got it? You two little freaks!"
Vernon hesitated for a long time, and finally classified his own son as a wizard. He couldn't deny it, after all, he kept telling his family about his experiences in Hogwarts.
Petunia nearly fainted when she heard about such a tall troll, but Vernon was secretly relieved to learn that Dudley could easily deal with such a monster.
It seems that his son is having a very happy time in Freak School.
Maybe going to school in Mestin is not suitable for a troublemaker like Dudley?
Love for the whole family is linked to love for the whole family. Petunia and Vernon knew what kind of behavior their eldest son had on weekdays. Even among teenagers of the same age, he was considered a bully. How could he be any better after going to middle school? It was just that their doting on their eldest son overwhelmed the principles of being a human being, which was why Harry's childhood was tortured.
The old couple felt somewhat relieved to see that their eldest son had lost his bad temper and had a great change in personality.
"Anyway, it's too dangerous to go to that freak academy."
Sitting at the dining table, Vernon ate a piece of fried meat angrily, his beard trembling.
"Don't worry, isn't it already a year?"
Dudley hummed, using a spoon to stir up the oatmeal in the bowl with milk.
The meals at Hogwarts had been so indulgent recently that his body fat had rebounded a bit. In order to ensure that he could beat Voldemort again in the next Chamber of Secrets Boxing Tournament, Dudley chose a healthy diet.
"My poor little angel, look at this Hogwarts, how hungry he is!"
The more Penny looked at it, the more upset she felt. She had prepared a large table of meat desserts, but Codley had changed his temper and turned a blind eye to all these things.
"Well, my dear mother, if I don't control my diet now, do you want me to have a magnificent beer belly like my father?"
Dudley burped and ate the oatmeal in the bowl in two or three mouthfuls.
Vernon showed a rare shy expression and unconsciously pulled his round belly in.
Harry looked at the "warm family" in front of him and felt that he had no place to interrupt. He finished the bacon and sausage on the plate and put away his knife and fork silently.
"Um...well, Harry, how are you doing at school?"
The sudden greeting almost froze Harry in place. He turned his head in disbelief and looked at Aunt Petunia, who looked equally unnatural.
He seemed to see Voldemort grow a nose and join Gryffindor.
"What's that expression on your face? Humph..."
Vernon grunted, but before he could finish his complaint, he was silenced by Petunia's murderous look.
"Me? Well, I've had a similar experience to cousin Dudley..."
Harry stammered in response. He had never thought that his uncle and aunt, who had always ignored him, would actually ask about his experiences. For a moment, Harry felt a little sore in the corners of his eyes.
"Harry is too modest. You know, in our Hogwarts, Harry is a celebrity."
"Students in our academy are all proud to have Harry - of course, I am almost the same."
Dudley stood up with a grin and helped Harry clear away the cutlery and dishes.
Then, the Dursleys were in shock again.
It’s not surprising that Harry is doing well in school. After all, that’s where his parents’ talents come from. Even Vernon, who has always been against magic, has to admit that this kid does have some “clever ideas”.
But, Dudley would take the initiative to help with housework?
The sun is coming out in the west!
After about a week, the Dursleys and Harry had barely adapted to each other's changes.
Although Vernon still felt a little upset that his son had turned into a freak, Petunia's attitude had changed 180 degrees. This was understandable, after all, she had always loved her sister, and there might be some youthful jealousy and resentment, but her son was able to fulfill his dream of magic, so what could Petunia complain about?
So, Petunia gradually became amiable towards Harry - of course, she was still a little uncomfortable at first, but after getting used to it, both Petunia and Harry were happy to accept this new relationship.
Dudley naturally had nothing to say. Perhaps Harry's spells and the like could not be continued to be practiced in the Muggle world, but Dudley was different. His training required perseverance.
Harry was a homebody, at least, and Muggle entertainment didn't make him any happier than when he was at Hogwarts.
What's more, Penny always asked him curiously about life in Hogwarts, those magical magic and creatures.
"So, your Quidditch games are life-threatening?"
Penny's eyes widened.
"That's true, but to be honest, it's a real thrill to ride on a broomstick."
Harry ate the fruit pie in front of him in small bites. Although it was not as delicious as the one in Hogwarts, Harry was still very satisfied. After eating and drinking, Harry suddenly remembered that he might want to consult Petunia's opinion on some things.
"Aunt, this is what happened. When I was in school, there was a professor named Severus Snape..."
Harry's eloquence was not his only privilege, but as long as Dudley was involved, perhaps he didn't need to be very good at it.
At least, when Aunt Petunia heard that her son was being bullied by the big bat who never washed his hair, her horse face even showed signs of stretching a little.
"Severus? Is that his name?"
"The greasy-haired boy who lives in Spider's End and has a crush on my sister?"
"This half-blood guy whose mother is a wizard married to a drunkard father!"
"How dare he do this to my Dada and Harry?"
Harry could clearly feel an insubstantial aura emanating from Aunt Petunia, just like the first time he saw Voldemort. She clearly had no magical talent, but Harry still couldn't help shivering.
Is this the power of box weapons?
Far away in his office at Hogwarts, Snape, who was sorting a pile of bottles and jars, suddenly sneezed loudly.
"Damn, it seems like someone is talking about me?"
Snape blinked and didn't take it to heart.
Of course, it would be great if he could maintain this mentality until school starts.
