Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 10 Meeting Harry Potter

During the day, Hephis devoted himself to the training of his shadow abilities, doing his best to tap the potential of this power.

When night fell, he sneaked into the dormitories of the Imperial Capital University of Technology and quietly captured the sleeping shadows.

Reading books on potions, I cut out the shadow of a student of medicine or chemistry;

When studying herbal medicine, he looked for the shadow of a student of agriculture or forestry;

As he explored transfiguration, the shadow of a biology or physics student became his target….

In short, this month Hephis went through all the first-year content, including Transfiguration, Charms and Potions, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic.

Now, he has basically mastered all the magical skills required for the first grade.

Even the study of Potions has already seen the fifth-year textbook.

I just haven't put it into practice, so I don't know if I could get Professor Snape's approval.

Then Hephis discovered that he had an extremely high talent in Transfiguration.

Now it is easy to transform items without even casting any spells.

I just don't know what grade level this is at.

Meanwhile, Hephis's shadow abilities have improved significantly.

Not only can he split eight black hands with ease, he has also developed a completely new ability.

King's Cross Station -

Hephaestus squeezed through the crowd with his suitcase and finally saw the wall that Professor McGonagall mentioned.

He touched its surface lightly, and his fingers passed through it easily, so he ran into it without hesitation.

On the quaint platform hangs a striking sign "Platform Nine and Three-Quarters".

A crimson vintage steam locomotive was parked next to the platform.

The sign on the locomotive clearly read: 9527, Hogwarts Express, o'clock.

Thick smoke from the steam locomotive swirled above the crowd, and all kinds of animals were running around among the people.

The platform was noisy with the buzz of voices, the hauling of bulky luggage, and the shrill calls of owls.

Hephis arrived relatively early, and there were not many students in the carriage.

He found a seat in the last carriage, wrapped himself in a blanket, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Hefeth is now a completely different person from who he was a month ago.

He was obviously thin and his face was pale.

The hair also became dry like dead grass.

His eyes were also dull and lifeless due to the torture of confused memories.

Although Hephis made rapid progress by devouring other people's shadows for a long time, the price was also huge.

Whenever he swallowed a shadow, his strength would instantly double and his body would expand rapidly.

However, when Shadow was released, his body quickly shrank like a deflated balloon.

A lot of energy will be consumed in this back and forth movement.

Even though his appetite in the past month has been comparable to that of three adults.

However, he still couldn't make up for the consumption and became thinner day by day.

What's worse, he swallowed too many people's shadows at the same time.

Knowledge itself is a kind of memory. When he learns knowledge, he will inevitably touch upon related memories.

Those confused memories made his mental state even worse.

As a result, his sleep quality became worse and worse, his sleep time became longer and longer, but his memory became more and more confused.

But Hephis simply couldn't stop. The feeling of being overwhelmed by others' intelligence made him unable to stop.

Fortunately, Hermione called him frequently during the process, which prevented him from losing himself in his memories.

-

Harry struggled through the crowd and finally found an empty carriage at the back of the train.

As soon as I walked in, I saw Hephis sleeping soundly.

He gently placed Hedwig in and shushed her.

Then he dragged the suitcase with great effort and tried to get it onto the step.

But after a few attempts, the box fell heavily on his foot.

Harry glanced guiltily at the sleeping Hephis, and seeing that he was still immersed in his dream, he continued to try.

"Do you need help?" The person who spoke was one of the family he had met before.

"Shh! Someone's sleeping," Harry gasped. "Can you help me?"

"Of course." George lowered his voice first, then shouted loudly outside: "Fred, come and help!"

Harry couldn't help but look towards Hephis, and found no movement.

With the twins' help, Harry finally managed to push the box into the corner of the compartment.

"Thank you." Harry wiped the sweat from his forehead and pushed his wet hair out of his eyes.

"What is that? Oh my God, are you?" Fred pointed at Harry's forehead and widened his eyes in surprise.

"You?" George stared at Harry.

"What is it?" Harry was confused.

"Harry Potter!" the Weasley twins shouted in unison.

"Shh! Keep your voice down, my name is Harry Potter, hello!" Harry said softly.

The twins stared blankly at Harry's forehead when Mrs. Weasley's voice came from the car door.

The twins left upon hearing the noise, leaving Harry feeling relieved.

Harry quickly closed the door and sat in the box.

Harry felt something strange and was startled when he looked up.

A pale face with distinct cheekbones and a pair of green eyes stared at him.

Uh... Hephis came back to his senses, realized that he had lost his composure, and smiled apologetically.

All right! Let's call it a laugh for now.

"Excuse me, I just heard them calling you Harry Potter and got a little excited. My name is Hephis Dam."

Hephis was indeed a little excited. Although he could indirectly learn the time from Hermione, he was still worried.

From the conversation between Harry and the twins, he finally determined that this year was Harry Potter's first year at school - not the Year of the Snake.

You can continue to develop in a wretched way.

"Hello, my name is Harry Potter." Harry felt a little strange.

"You are a freshman this year, right?"

"Um...you, too?"

"Yes, me too."

"Well, you are very famous in the wizarding world."

"It seems like that, a lot of people know me and say I'm doing a good job, but I don't remember anything."

"Maybe it's better not to remember!" Hephis said subconsciously.

"What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly."

"Nothing, um... did you eat?"

"I......"

Just as Harry was about to answer, the door of the carriage suddenly opened and Ron walked in.

They both breathed a sigh of relief at the same time, and the atmosphere was a bit awkward.

"Is anyone here?" Ron pointed at the seat opposite Harry and asked deliberately, "Everywhere else is full."

Before getting on the train, the twins specifically told Ron that he must sit in this carriage, and of course he knew that this was Harry Potter.

Harry shook his head.

Ron sat down.

He glanced at Harry, then turned his eyes out the window, pretending not to know Harry.

"Hey, Ron." The twins also came.

"Listen, we're going to the middle car now. Lee Jordan got a big spider."

"Oh." Ron muttered.

"Harry, and you too, I'm sorry for disturbing your sleep just now!" Fred said with a wicked smile.

"We haven't introduced ourselves to you yet, have we? Fred and George Weasley. He is Ron, our younger brother." The twins looked at Hepherdess at the same time.

"Hephaest Dam."

"See you later then!"

"Goodbye."

The twin brothers closed the carriage door casually.
