Harry Potter and the Rebirth

In the corridor, two short figures walked together. The weather was getting colder, and the northwest wind was blowing outside. The cold air made one of the little wizards tighten the scarf around his neck.

"Brother," one of the little wizards poked the other little wizard who was taciturn and focused on his journey.

"What's your name? I see the burn on your arm is pretty serious. What have you been doing?"

"My name is Thomas—from Hufflepuff."

"Oh - I see, I see. My name is Finnegan and I'm from Gryffindor." Finnegan recognized Thomas immediately when he saw the scarf around his neck.

"Let me tell you, I'm extremely unlucky today." Thomas smiled faintly and listened quietly, while folding down his sleeves to cover the burns on his arms.

In response to Finnegan's lengthy speech, this man, who had just met but was very familiar with him, expressed his friendly attitude.

"By the way, who are you?" Finnegan looked at Thomas' arm. When Madam Pomfrey changed the bandage just now, he took a deep breath. The wound was a little too hideous.

"I went to the small kitchen to make something, but I didn't control the heat well and accidentally burned myself."

If it was a Hufflepuff doing this, it would be quite normal, but when he was changing the dressing just now, why did he tell Pomfrey that he got burned because of the potion he made? Never mind, never mind, Finnegan shook his head and felt happy that he had made another good friend today.

Sirius pushed Snape aside, walked to the wall, picked up two cages and put them at the end of Harry's bed. Harry suddenly retracted his feet.

Sirius pulled down the black cloth covering the cage. The little snake that was cultivating its Qi inside the cage suddenly raised its head. It smelled a familiar scent and saw a familiar person, which made it extremely happy.

Harry stared at the snake in the cage in a daze, and suddenly thought of the rope that was pulled down, and two figures overlapped in Harry's mind.

Oh, Harry thought of a way. If it was really that person, he was not completely himself, and the memory he had was only 20% or 30%, so he could test it out. Harry glanced at Sirius who was dancing in front of his bed, and Snape who was standing beside him in silence.

For a moment, he couldn't tell the real one from the fake one. One of them had a questionable identity and the other had a criminal record. Harry pondered for a moment and felt that it would be safer to find Dumbledore himself. Maybe one of the people standing next to him was also an imposter.

Sirius was still chattering, and when he saw that his godson was silent, he thought he was frightened by the note that suddenly appeared. After all, he was a child who had just turned 11 years old, but he experienced this kind of thing every day. The pity in his eyes was even stronger.

"Please leave them here." Harry stared at the two colorful snakes in a daze, looking a little tired.

"Professor, do you know where Headmaster Dumbledore is now?" Harry turned and asked Snape.

"I don't know either. He has been elusive since the exam." Snape replied indifferently.

"Yes, yes, he only showed up once during a Quidditch match, and I don't know where he was the rest of the time."

"Uh, Godfather, didn't you come here with Headmaster Dumbledore this morning?" Harry recalled the scene this morning and confirmed that he was not mistaken.

"Hiss..." Sirius was speechless. He just couldn't stand seeing Snape talking to Harry. Why was his attitude so nice? It was not like his usual attitude of being angry with everyone.

"I'm a little sleepy," Harry yawned loudly, but in the process he smelled the aroma of food. On the dining table next to him, there were a few house-elves, tiptoeing and carrying plates of food.

"Eat something before you go to sleep." Sirius entertained him warmly, like a loyal big dog. Harry could not refuse his kindness, so he had to put on his slippers and come down to eat with Sirius.

Snape saw this scene and strode away without saying a word.

Harry stopped the professor and asked, "Would you like some?"

Si Nei turned his head and looked extremely lonely, but judging from his appearance, he seemed to be enjoying this kind of solitude.

"No need. I've already eaten in the auditorium." Then he turned around and strode away, his cloak rustling behind him.

He didn't know why his godfather and professor always had conflicts. What was the reason? "I will tell Dumbledore about what happened today, don't worry." Sirius looked at Harry lovingly, then touched his head. Harry lowered his eyelids, hiding the doubt in his eyes, pretending to be eating.

In fact, Sirius is a greater suspect now. He changed everyone's memory in an instant. Only the huge pink mist at the beginning had this ability, and now he suddenly appeared.

"Thank you," Harry took the syrup fruit pie that Sirius passed to him. For a moment, time and space were a little confused. He took a big bite, and the sweet taste exploded in his taste buds. He liked it in the past and still likes it now.

The two were having dinner in the school infirmary, while Dumbledore, whom Harry was thinking about, was at the Hog's Head Pub in the village of Hodmog.

Coming out of the post office on Central Street, I turned into an alley. At the entrance of the alley there was a tattered door with a rotten wooden sign on top and a rusty bracket supporting it from below. There was also a rusty iron frame with a pig's head wrapped in white cloth passing through it. Blood from the pig's head seeped out and seemed like it could drip onto the person standing at the door at any time.

Dumbledore looked bitter. He straightened his wizard robe, smoothed his beard with his hands, and pushed the door open.

There was a dim light at the innermost part. Under the light, an old man with a white beard was wiping a wine glass with a rag. The bottom was covered with thick dirt and exuded an unknown smell.

There were several tables of people drinking butter beer nearby. Some of them wrapped themselves tightly in black cloth, and some of them glanced at the visitors at the door, then quickly lowered their heads.

Some of them saw the old man standing at the door, their eyes lit up, and they quickly stood up, while Dumbledore, who hurried to the bar, obviously had no intention of making close friends with others.
