I'm a hero in Marvel

Chapter 117: An Illuminati Temporary Meeting

In a dimly lit conference room, members of the Illuminati sat around a huge round table. The holographic projector in the center of the table flashed blue light, projecting a world map with dangerous areas marked on it. Captain Steve Rogers stood beside the table, his hands clenched into fists, his face full of seriousness and worry.

"Tony," Steve's voice was low and powerful, breaking the heavy silence, "You are in a very dangerous situation. The Mandarin and his Ten Rings have set their sights on you."

Tony Stark sat at the table with his usual confident smile on his face, but his eyes revealed a hint of uneasiness. "Steve, you know I'm never afraid of trouble," he shrugged, "If they want to come to me, let them come."

"This is not a joke, Tony!" Steve slammed the table, his voice echoing in the room, "The Mandarin is not an ordinary enemy. His methods are much more terrible than you think."

"I know how dangerous the Mandarin is," Tony's voice also rose a few degrees, "but we are the Illuminati, we have the ability to deal with any threat."

"Tony," Professor Charles Xavier, who was sitting on the other side, interrupted, his tone gentle but full of authority, "We all know your ability and courage, but the situation this time is different. The Mandarin is not just targeting you personally, he may also use you to attack our entire team."

Tony was silent for a moment, his eyes sweeping over everyone present. In addition to Steve and Charles, there were Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. Everyone's face was filled with worry and determination.

"Okay," Tony finally sighed, "what do you want me to do?"

"First," Steve said, his voice regaining its composure, "we need to ensure your safety. Natasha and Clint will be responsible for your personal protection."

"No problem," Natasha smiled slightly, with a cold light in her eyes, "I will make sure Tony doesn't make any mistakes."

Clint nodded and added, "We will monitor any suspicious movements 24 hours a day."

"Secondly," Charles continued, "we need to come up with a counterattack plan. Bruce, what do you suggest?"

Bruce Banner pushed his glasses, frowned and thought for a moment before saying: "The Mandarin's power comes from his ten rings, each of which has different abilities. If we can find his weakness, perhaps we can weaken his power."

"I can use my technology to analyze the energy fluctuations of these rings," Tony suggested, "Maybe we can find a way to crack it."

"That's settled then," Steve nodded, "We must unite and face this crisis together."

At this moment, the door of the conference room was suddenly pushed open, and a young agent ran in hurriedly, looking pale and panting, and said, "Captain, we just received intelligence that the Mandarin has sent out an elite force, targeting Stark Industries."

"Damn it!" Tony stood up suddenly, "We have to act now!"

"Calm down, Tony," Steve held his shoulder, "We have to make a careful plan and not act rashly."

"Steve is right," Charles nodded, "We can't take this lightly."

"Okay," Tony took a deep breath and tried to calm himself, "So what should we do?"

"First," Steve said, "we need to split up. Natasha and Clint, you are responsible for protecting Tony. Bruce, you and I will go to investigate the movements of the Mandarin. Charles, you stay here and use your ability to monitor the entire situation."

"Understood," Natasha and Clint responded in unison.

"Let's go," Steve patted Tony's shoulder, "Remember, we are a team, no one will be left behind."

Tony nodded, a determined gleam in his eyes. "Thank you, guys. I know I'm not fighting alone."

"Of course not," Steve smiled, "We'll always have your back."

As Steve, Bruce and Charles left the meeting room, Natasha and Clint followed closely behind Tony, ready to deal with any emergencies.

"Tony," Natasha whispered, "are you sure you want to face the Mandarin yourself?"

"Natasha, I have no choice," Tony said, a hint of fatigue in his voice, "This is my responsibility."

"We'll always be here for you," Clint patted Tony's shoulder, "no matter what happens."

Tony nodded, a trace of gratitude flashing in his eyes. He knew that although the road ahead was full of dangers, with the support of these friends, he would be able to get through it.

As night fell, the lights of the city flickered in the darkness. Tony, Natasha, and Clint stood on the top floor of Stark Industries, overlooking the entire city. The wind blew the corners of their clothes, as if warming up for the upcoming battle.

"They're coming," Clint whispered, his eyes fixed on the dark figures in the distance.

"Prepare to fight," Tony's voice was calm and firm, "No matter what happens, we can't back down."

"Tony, you must understand that your new armor alone is not enough to deal with the current threat." Captain Rogers' voice was low and firm, his blue eyes looking directly into Tony Stark, as if he could see into his soul through his eyes.

Tony Stark sat at one end of the conference table, with his usual confident smile on his face, but a hint of uneasiness flickered in his eyes. "Captain, I know what you're worried about, but my armor is already the most advanced technology available. We don't need to rely on external forces anymore."

"External forces?" Natasha Romanoff sneered. She stood by the window with her arms crossed over her chest. "Tony, you are too confident. The Ten Rings and the Mandarin are not ordinary enemies. The power they possess is far beyond your imagination."

"Natasha is right," Captain Rogers nodded, "We have fought against them many times. Their strength should not be underestimated. Especially the Mandarin. His power is a combination of magic and technology. We cannot rely solely on armor to fight him."

Tony frowned, clearly unwilling to admit his own shortcomings. "So what's your advice? We can't always rely on others."

At this time, the door of the conference room was pushed open, and Sam Wilson walked in with a trace of fatigue on his face. "I just came back from the front line and have some new intelligence."

"Go on, Sam," Captain Rogers motioned for him to continue.

"The Spear Bureau has recently discovered some new movements. They seem to be looking for some ancient artifacts that are said to be able to enhance their power." Sam handed a document to Captain Rogers.

Captain Rogers flipped through the file, his brows furrowed. "This means their threats will escalate further, and we must act quickly."

Tony looked at the file, his face turning serious. "Okay, Captain, I admit we need more help. But who can we rely on?"

"We need to form a new alliance." Captain Rogers said firmly, "Not just the Avengers, but other powerful allies."

"Like who?" Tony raised an eyebrow.

"Doctor Strange," Natasha said, "His magical powers can counter the Mandarin's magic."

"And Black Panther." Sam added, "Wakanda's technology and resources can provide strong support."

Tony pondered for a moment, and finally nodded. "Okay, I agree. But we need a detailed plan."

"I'm already preparing." Captain Rogers took out a plan and handed it to Tony. "We need to split up and contact these allies while strengthening our defenses."

"I'll be responsible for contacting Doctor Strange." Natasha volunteered.

"I'm going to Wakanda." Sam also expressed his willingness to go.

"Then I will be responsible for upgrading the armor and contacting other potential allies." Tony said.

After the meeting, everyone left, leaving only Captain Rogers and Tony in the meeting room.

"Tony," Captain Rogers walked up to Tony and patted him on the shoulder, "We must unite to defeat these powerful enemies."

Tony looked at Captain Rogers, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes. "I know, Captain. I will do my best."

Captain Rogers nodded and turned to leave the meeting room. Tony stood there, looking at the night view outside the window, with a lot of thoughts in his mind.

A few days later, the Avengers split up, with Natasha heading to Doctor Strange's temple, Sam flying to Wakanda, and Tony working in the lab, improving his armor.

"Tony, are you here?" Pepper Potts' voice came from the laboratory door.

Tony looked up and saw Pepper standing at the door with a concerned look on her face. "Pepper, I'm here."

Pepper walked into the lab and looked at the parts and tools scattered all over the floor. "You haven't rested for a few days. Your body won't be able to hold on if you continue like this."

"I'm fine, Pepper." Tony managed a smile, "I have to get these upgrades done as soon as possible."

"I know you're worried about everyone's safety, but you have to take care of yourself too." Pepper held Tony's hand, her eyes full of concern.

Tony felt her warmth and was touched. "Thank you, Pepper. I'll pay attention."

Meanwhile, Natasha has arrived at Doctor Strange's temple. She walks into the temple and sees Doctor Strange meditating.

"Doctor Strange, we need your help." Natasha said straight to the point.

Doctor Strange opened his eyes, his gaze was sharp. "I have sensed the surge of dark forces. The threat posed by the Mandarin and S.H.I.E. cannot be underestimated."

"We need your magical power to fight them." Natasha said earnestly.

Doctor Strange nodded. "I will do my best to help you. But we need more allies."

"Sam has gone to Wakanda, hoping to get the support of Black Panther." Natasha said.

"Very good, we must act quickly." Doctor Strange stood up, "Time is running out."

In Wakanda, Sam Wilson also successfully met the Black Panther, T'Challa.

"Sam, you've arrived just in time." T'Challa greeted him with a smile, "We have noticed the movements of the S.H.I.E. Bureau. Wakanda is willing to provide all necessary support."

A group of young men in black leather jackets gathered together, their faces showing tension and expectation. At the end of the alley, a tall figure slowly approached, his figure looked particularly burly under the dim street lights.

"Jack, I heard you've been doing a good job recently." A tall figure approached, revealing an angular face. He was the leader of the Night's Watch - Mark.

Jack nodded, a hint of pride in his tone, "Yes, Mark. We recently caught a group of drug dealers and handed them over to the police."

Mark nodded with satisfaction, "Very good, Jack. We need more people like you."

At this time, a young girl walked out of the crowd, her eyes full of determination, "Mark, I also want to join the Night Watch Alliance."

Mark glanced at her and frowned slightly, "Lisa, are you sure? This is not a game, this is a real battle."

Lisa nodded without hesitation, "I'm sure. I want to do something for this city."
