Chapter 494 Star-Lord
Chapter 494: Star-Lord
Star-Lord's real name is Peter Jason Quill. He is half human and half Spartatoi. He is the son of Jason Spartax, the ruler of Spartatoi, and Meredith Quill, a Colorado woman. Star-Lord is an outstanding archer and swordsman, and is also good at hand-to-hand combat. He originally fought alone, formed the Guardians of the Galaxy and became the leader to fight against the Universal Church of Truth.
In order to save the universe that was shattered by the interstellar annihilation incident, he formed the strongest team in the universe, the Annihilus, in the subsequent "Thanos Unlimited". Star-Lord's Guardians of the Galaxy have also teamed up with the Avengers on Earth many times to fight against cosmic super villains.
Early Origins
Jason Spartax, the prince of the Spartoi Empire, was convicted of treason and left his hometown, wandering in the universe for many years.
A few years later, the Spartatoi Empire was at war, and King Eson of Spartatoi summoned his son back to his country. However, Jason's spaceship broke down on the way back and crashed into the Colorado Mountains in the United States. An Earth woman named Meredith Quill rescued the injured prince;
She took good care of Jason and helped him repair the spaceship - during which time they developed a beautiful love. Although Meredith was pregnant with Jason's child, Jason had to choose to leave his lover because he was concerned about the battlefield.
Although he vowed to come back, in order not to cause too much mental stimulation to Meredith, Jason blocked all memories of himself in Meredith's brain.
Meredith married her childhood sweetheart, Jake, not long after.
A few months later, she gave birth to a boy. On the night of the child's birth, six stars appeared strangely in the sky. Meredith's husband Jack insisted that the child looked nothing like him. He snatched the baby like crazy and ran to the suburbs to try to kill him. But he died of a sudden heart attack, and the child survived. Meredith named him Peter Quill.
Peter had an extraordinary interest in space knowledge since he was a child. Later, an accident happened and a group of aliens suddenly fell from the sky and killed Meredith. Peter witnessed the whole process of them killing his mother and he vowed to avenge his mother one day.
In order to get revenge, Peter devoted himself to the study of aerospace knowledge. His desire for revenge made him cold, lonely and weird. After graduating from college, he joined the National Space Center of the United States and was assigned to work on Eve, the first permanent space station in the United States.
Soon, a phantom in space asked the station to select a representative to become "Star Lord" to explore and protect the galaxy. Peter, eager for revenge, volunteered, but his superiors chose one of his colleagues to be the representative.
Furious, Peter injures his colleague and is inexplicably transported to a strange realm where he faces the Master of the Sun, who creates an illusion that shows Peter the consequences of his hatred.
Afterwards, Lord Sun congratulated Peter: he had been freed from hatred, and then passed the identity of "Star-Lord" and the spaceship to Peter.
Star-Lord finally came to the Spartatoi Empire and met his father Jason, who had become the king of Spartatoi. At this time, he finally knew that the murderer who killed his mother was sent by his father's uncle Gareth in order to usurp the position of king. Jason was told that his wife died of dystocia. Star-Lord killed his enemy and recognized his father.
Jason asked Star-Lord to stay and inherit the throne, but was refused, and Star-Lord continued his space travel.
After that, the king made several requests, but Star-Lord refused them all, and finally the king had to give up the plan. Jason then abdicated and planned to explore the universe with Star-Lord, but the father and son were separated in an accident, and Jason's whereabouts have been unknown since then.
Soon, an armed force of the Ariguan Federation launched an attack on Star-Lord's master, the Sun Lord. They accused the Sun Lord of committing treason, and Star-Lord fought against the force to protect his master.
But the Sun Lord told Star-Lord that he must stand trial, that he was originally a scientist of the Aliguan Federation, and that he betrayed his people by creating Star-Lord. The Sun Lord took the initiative to surrender to the Aliguan Federation, and although he was reluctant, Star-Lord finally recognized this action.
Historical Origin
Peter Quill is the son of human Meredith Quill and the then-Emperor of Sparta. Jason left Earth shortly after Meredith became pregnant with Peter in order to continue his interstellar war, leaving Meredith behind on Earth to protect her.
Nine months later, Peter was born during an unusual astronomical phenomenon that saw many planets align, and soon after, his mother, Meredith, for reasons she didn't quite understand, had an urge to take him outside and let him look at the stars.
For ten years, Quill is raised by Meredith, a single mother, but she is helped by her best friend Monica. Peter soon becomes fascinated by sci-fi shows, and after visiting an amusement park, he is so impressed by the spaceships that he decides he wants to be an astronaut when he grows up, however, he is later a little disappointed when he discovers that the aliens on the spaceship are not real.
One day, Peter was injured while trying to stop a bully. When he returned home and was washing dishes and preparing for dinner, Meredith saw a strong light and an alien spaceship appeared, with two Badoons getting off the spaceship.
Their purpose is to end Spartacus' royal bloodline, and they kill Meredith. Quill panics and runs away when he sees the aliens and his dead mother.
When the aliens chase him, he takes out a shotgun from his home and shoots at the aliens, managing to kill them with it, but the Earth weapon is useless against the aliens' armor. He then finds the elemental gun in a closet and shoots through two of the Badongs with one shot.
The aliens decided to destroy the house with the ship's beam cannon, and Star-Lord saw a bright light and immediately fled the house.
