The journey to Hechen would take several days. While Li Chenyang and Li Wenmin were indifferent about returning to their old home, Xueyue was incredibly nervous. Everyone had arrived safely at Hechen Manor.

"Xiaoyue, you look pale, what's wrong? Are you worried about something?" Li Wenmin asked as he walked into the room, holding a plate covered with a cloth in one hand, and sat down on the sofa. Li Chenyang followed him, but did not sit down, but leaned against the bed frame.

Xueyue paused, her eyes swept to Li Chenyang, and then to the easy-going Li Wenmin. "A little bit." She answered softly. Li Chenyang raised his eyebrows, as if he could see through her, and her heart was filled with guilt.

"Don't be nervous, Chenyang and I will be here." Li Wenmin patted the seat next to him and Xueyue sat down.

Xueyue was very grateful for Li Wenmin's comfort and gentle words.

"Don't tell Mom about this. I secretly took out some lotus seed mooncakes from the kitchen. The chefs are testing new recipes for next year's New Year. Do you want some?" He smiled as he took off the clothes on the plate. Even after four years, his usual antics have not changed.

Seeing his face light up at the thought of eating, Xueyue felt her worries disappear. She was amused by his antics and nodded immediately.

"You're such a glutton, aren't you?" she teased, watching him put the cake in his mouth.

“And you are the second big eater in the family.” Li Wenmin patted her nose and watched her pick up two.

"Come, have some." She handed one to Li Chenyang because he was sitting opposite the sofa.

“Wait, Xiaoyue, Chenyang didn’t—” When Chenyang took the mooncake and ate it, Li Wenmin’s voice stopped abruptly.

Li Wenmin opened his mouth wide. "Did he really just eat that?"

Li Chenyang glared at his brother fiercely and warned him not to say anything else.

Xueyue, on the other hand, completely ignored their expressions and ate her food happily.

Li Wenmin knew that Li Chenyang extremely despised lotus seeds, but Li Chenyang ate the mooncake without hesitation, as if he had not lost his temper over lotus seeds when he was four years old and swore never to eat them again in his life.

Li Wenmin knew it was best not to speak and continued to eat his mooncake in silence.

After chatting with her brothers for a whole day, Xueyue finally fell asleep.

Seeing her lowered eyes and mumbling something, Li Wenmin's expression softened. He patted her head gently, and she leaned on his shoulder. Soon, her eyes closed.

"It seems that we have tired her too much." Li Wenmin touched her soft face, which looked like a freshly steamed white bun.

"It's a long journey back to Hechen, no wonder she is tired." Li Chenyang said with his arms folded.

Li Wenmin effortlessly carried Xueyue to the bed. His brother lifted the heavy blanket and took off her shoes.

Li Wenmin put Xueyue on the bed, tucked her in, patted her forehead, walked to the window, locked it tightly, and then asked the servants to light a fire.

Once she was warm and comfortable, the twins left her room and began approaching their wing.

"Why do you eat lotus seed mooncakes? Don't you dislike the taste?" Li Wenmin asked curiously with his hands behind his head.

"I'm an adult now, I don't have time to be picky about my food." Li Chenyang rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

After hearing his brother's answer, Li Wenmin tilted his head and shrugged: "I still don't like black chicken soup."

“That’s because no matter how old you are, you are childish.” Li Chenyang rolled his eyes. Sometimes he forgot that Li Wenmin was the older one, not him.

Li Wenmin rolled his eyes and asked, "Are you excited for tomorrow's game?"

"If we always win, there's nothing to be excited about." Li Chenyang was honestly bored with the game. There weren't many people who could match him. Over the years, mothers kept pestering him about their daughters, and he began to get annoyed.

"I heard that Xueyue is riding a black horse to compete in archery." Li Wenmin thought about what his mother said.

"She is always so good at archery, I believe she will knock her competitors into the water." Li Wenmin smiled when she recalled the scene of their first meeting.

"I should sign up for archery this year," Li Chenyang suggested, bumping into Li Wenmin's shoulder.

"Even the male servants are peeking at her." Li Wenmin muttered.

"Her oblivion of her own beauty only makes her beauty more beautiful." Li Chenyang rubbed his face and sighed tiredly. "She is now eighteen years old, but she has not been introduced to our circle.
