The old woman paused, as if thinking about their words. "Your eyes are honest," she said slowly, "but this does not change the fact that you have trespassed into my territory."

"It seems we need to be more careful," Lin Nan whispered to Emma. They tried to keep their distance from the old woman while looking for a chance to escape. The old woman looked crazy and fierce, and they had to be prepared to deal with her at any time.

"You greedy outsiders, come here to steal everything from me!" The old woman roared, waving her weapon at them. Her eyes were full of anger and fanaticism, as if she was deeply angry at the desolation and loneliness of the city.

Lin Nan and Emma exchanged glances and tried to find a solution in tacit understanding. They couldn't let themselves get involved in a violent conflict, especially in this strange and dangerous environment. Their goal was to resolve it peacefully, continue their journey of exploration, and find a way to return to the original timeline.

"Please listen to our explanation, we mean no harm," Emma said trying to calmly. She knew that she needed to calm the old woman's anger somehow to avoid further conflict.

The old woman paused, still holding the weapon in her hand, her eyes wandering between the two men. Lin Nan saw that she seemed to be wavering, and he took the opportunity to say, "We are lost travelers, and we didn't know that there were people living here. If you can tell us how to leave here, we are willing to leave and not bother you anymore."

The old woman was silent for a while, as if she was considering Lin Nan's words. Finally, she put down her weapon, although she still stared at them vigilantly.

“Leave here and go south. There is an abandoned transportation hub there. That is the best way to leave this city.” The old woman said in a hoarse but powerful voice. “Go now and don’t come back.”

Lin Nan and Emma didn't dare to say anything more, they quickly turned around and left the power station. They walked carefully to the south, following the old woman's instructions, heading towards the exit that could leave the city.

Lin Nan and Emma hurriedly left the power station and headed south, looking for an exit to leave the city. They walked in the direction indicated by the old woman for a while, gradually moving away from the abandoned industrial area and entering the ruins area on the edge of the city.

Suddenly, their eyes fell on a conspicuous structure in the distance. On the edge of the city, a huge spaceship stood there, huge and ancient, like an abandoned ark. The surface of the hull was bare, flashing traces of time, but still showing its former grandeur and technology.

“What is that?” Emma asked in surprise.

Lin Nan narrowed his eyes, trying to see the details of the spaceship. He couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope in his heart, maybe this ship could provide the energy they needed and more. They quickly approached the spaceship, bypassed the city ruins, and came to the front of this huge spaceship.

At the bottom of the spacecraft, they found a huge hatch that seemed to be the entrance. The control panel on the door looked old and worn, but it seemed to be still functioning. Lin Nan walked over to the control panel and tried to activate it.

"Maybe this spaceship can provide the energy we need." Lin Nan said, pressing the switch on the control panel.

A low mechanical sound was heard, and the hatch slowly opened. They entered the interior of the spacecraft and found an abandoned and dim cabin. There were several abandoned control panels and power equipment on the wall, which looked like no one had used them for many years.

"We have to find a working generator or battery pack." Lin Nan looked around, trying to find a device that could charge the time controller.

During the exploration, they found an area that looked like an energy room, where some power equipment and battery packs that had not been completely abandoned were piled up. Although they were old, they still emitted a faint electric light.

"Look here, maybe these can work." Emma said, pointing to a group of battery packs on the ground.

Lin Nan quickly connected the time controller's charging device to the battery pack. They waited nervously, hoping that the battery packs would provide enough energy for the time controller to continue their exploration and find a way back to the original timeline.

As time passed, they saw the battery indicator on the time controller's display screen begin to slowly rise. This made them breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that they were one step closer to leaving the planet.

"It looks like the battery pack is still usable." Lin Nan said with a smile, "We have to wait patiently and make sure the time controller is fully charged."

Emma nodded, and she put her worries aside. The two found a relatively safe corner inside the spaceship and continued to wait. Although the spaceship was abandoned at this time, it was the most important hiding place and source of resources for them.

After a while, the time controller was finally fully charged. Lin Nan carefully disconnected it, and after confirming that everything was normal, they prepared to leave the spacecraft.

"Where are we going?" Emma asked.

Lin Nan pondered for a moment. They needed to find a safe place to analyze the data they had previously obtained, while continuing to look for more clues about this planet.

"We need to find a secluded place and analyze the data we acquired previously to see if we can find more information about this planet and how we got here," Lin Nan said finally.

Lin Nan and Emma hurriedly left the spaceship, and they decided to take an abandoned train to the Ark spaceship that was about to take off. The train station was located in the east of the city and was one of the best ways for them to leave the ruined city.

They hurried through the city streets, around ruins and wilderness, and finally came to the entrance of the train station. Although the train station had not been used for many years, the train tracks still looked relatively intact and seemed to be able to operate.

"We need to find a train that is still usable." Lin Nan said as they eagerly looked for a train carriage to take.

Finally, at the end of the platform, they found a slightly old but seemingly functioning train. The surface of the carriage was covered with thick dust and withered yellow leaves, but there was still a trace of life.

"This one looks like it's still usable," Emma said, hastily pulling open the door.

Lin Nan followed him and they entered the carriage. It was dark inside and the air was filled with the smell of time. They carefully found their seats and waited for the train to start.

As time passed, the train made a low start sound. Lin Nan and Emma breathed a sigh of relief, finally leaving this strange and dangerous city and heading towards the destination of the Ark spaceship.
