“Run!” Lin Nan shouted loudly, holding Emily’s hand, and struggled through the flying rubble and thick smoke.

Their hearts were beating violently, and sweat was pouring down their foreheads, but they had no time to stop. Every step seemed to be a race against time, and the explosions and collapses behind them were getting closer and closer, bringing them tremendous pressure.

Finally, they rushed out of the shadow of the billboard and came to a relatively open street. Although the front was still full of unknown dangers, they knew that as long as they did not stop, there was still hope.

"Let's get back to the safe area quickly, Anthony is still waiting for us." Emily said breathlessly, with a determined light flashing in her eyes.

As Lin Nan and Emily were running back to the safe area, Lin Nan suddenly stopped, with a hint of hesitation and worry in his eyes.

"Wait, Emily, we might need more power." There was a hint of anxiety in her voice, but she quickly covered it up.

"But we have obtained the energy battery, which should be enough to temporarily maintain the operation of the time controller." Emily was a little confused, but also understood that every second was crucial now.

Lin Nan took a deep breath and decided to take a chance. "No, I just thought of a possible solution. The connector on that neon sign might be rechargeable. It looks like it's connected to a larger power system, and we can charge the time controller directly there."

Emily listened to Lin Nan's words. Although she was a little skeptical, she knew that Lin Nan's intuition was always accurate. "Okay, let's go back and take a look, but we have to act as soon as possible."

The two turned around again and ran towards the neon sign. Lin Nan felt a little uneasy. She knew she was taking a risk, but she had to take a gamble to ensure the success of the mission.

Back in front of the billboard, Lin Nan carefully examined the connector and pretended to confirm some details. "Look, there is a spare port here that can charge the time controller directly. We can try it."

Emily took out the time controller and connected the connector according to Lin Nan's instructions. Her movements were quick and accurate, and she obviously remained calm and professional in the emergency.

"I hope this works," Emily whispered, and began to operate the controls.

Lin Nan was nervous, but she had to stay calm. The screen of the time controller gradually lit up, showing the charging progress bar. Lin Nan and Emily stared at the screen, praying that everything would go smoothly.

A few minutes later, the progress bar finally reached full, and the time controller regained its energy. Emily smiled with relief, while Lin Nan took a deep breath, and his worries were temporarily calmed.

"Success!" Emily said excitedly.

Lin Nan nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment. Although she lied, the result was good. Now they had enough energy to ensure that the time controller functioned normally.

"Let's go back and find Anthony. He must be very worried." Lin Nan said, and the two of them quickly packed up their equipment and prepared to return to the safe area.

While running, Lin Nan was still a little uneasy. She knew that this was only a temporary solution and the challenges ahead would still be severe. But she also understood that as long as there was hope, they could not give up.

When they returned to the safe area, Anthony saw them and smiled with relief. "You are finally back, how is it?"

"We found more energy sources and the time controller is now fully charged." Emily reported excitedly.

Anthony nodded in approval. "Great, now we can move on to adjusting and repairing the timeline."

When Lin Nan and Emily were running back to the safe area, Lin Nan suddenly stopped, with a hint of anxiety in her eyes. She turned around and looked at Emily, as if she had made up her mind.

"Emily, wait a minute." Lin Nan said, with a hint of nervousness in her voice.

Emily stopped and looked back at Lin Nan. "What's wrong? We have to go back as soon as possible, don't we?"

Lin Nan took a deep breath and made a bold decision. "We need more power, and I have an idea. The connector on that neon sign may be rechargeable. I saw it connected to a larger power system before, maybe we can charge the time controller directly there."

Emily frowned, hesitant. "Are you sure? We already have a battery, and it doesn't look too safe there."

Lin Nan nodded firmly. "I'm sure. This is our only chance. If we can recharge there, the energy will be more stable and maybe last longer. We have to give it a try."

Emily thought about it for a while, and finally agreed to Lin Nan's proposal. "Okay, let's try it, but we have to act quickly."

The two quickly turned back to the neon sign. Although Lin Nan felt a little uneasy, she knew she had to stay calm and confident. She checked the connector of the sign and pretended to confirm some details.

"Look, there is a spare interface here. We can try to connect the time controller to charge it." Lin Nan said, pointing to a connection point.

Emily was skeptical, but she followed Lin Nan's instructions. She carefully connected the time controller to the connector of the billboard and began to adjust the controller settings.

"I hope this works," Emily whispered, and began to operate the controls.

Lin Nan was nervous, but she knew she had to appear confident. As Emily operated, the screen of the time controller gradually lit up, showing the charging progress bar.

A few minutes later, the progress bar finally showed full bars, and the time controller was successfully charged. Emily smiled in surprise, while Lin Nan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

"Success!" Emily said excitedly.

Lin Nan nodded. Although she was still a little nervous, she knew the result was good. Now they had enough energy and the time controller could function normally, which meant they had more time to deal with the upcoming challenges.

"Let's go back and find Anthony. He must be very worried." Lin Nan said, and the two of them quickly packed up their equipment and prepared to return to the safe area.

While running, Lin Nan still felt a little uneasy in her heart. She knew that she had lied, and although the result was good, she also understood that such adventures would not always have good results. The challenges ahead were still severe, and they had to be more careful and cautious.

When they returned to the safe area, Anthony saw them and smiled with relief. "You are finally back, how is it?"
