Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 1 Letter from the Magical World

At dusk, the sky is like a gradient brocade, transitioning from bright white to light blue-gray.

The golden sunlight shines on the ancient roof tiles, refracting bits of gold, immersing the entire manor in a warm and mysterious atmosphere.

The sunset glow slowly spreads across the distant sky, like an oil painting by a famous artist. The colors range from rouge red to light pink, stretching into a graceful outline.

As time goes by, the colors of the sky become richer and richer, echoing the red maples in the garden in the distance, as if the whole world is melting into these flowing colors.

A few soft clouds, like silver edges inlaid on blue satin, echoed with the long shadows cast by the manor below, forming a moving picture.

Sparrows chirped and jumped among the branches, their shadows becoming mottled as the sunlight became increasingly weak.

In such an ordinary yet poetic evening, every window of the manor seems to be inlaid in a golden frame, revealing a calmness and elegance that transcends time and space.

As dusk deepens, the outline of this classical English-style manor appears more magnificent and solemn under the sunset glow.

At the spacious entrance, the two Ionic columns are like guardians of history, steady and reserved. The columns are carved with delicate leaf patterns and buds about to bloom. Every detail is exquisite and sophisticated.

The exterior walls of the villa are made of beige stone. After being baptized by wind and rain, the surface of the stone has a gentle texture and exudes a warm luster.

The roof is covered with dark tiles, which are slowly stained with the color of time over the years and blend in with the surrounding environment.

The brilliant rays of light outside the house are refracted from multiple angles and shine into the spacious living room through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. In the center of the high wooden ceiling, a huge crystal chandelier emits a soft light.

Next to the fireplace stands a classical mantel, and the jumping flames cast swaying shadows on the ground.

The thick and soft carpet makes every step you walk silent, just like the history of this manor, calm and restrained.

The wide corridor connects all the rooms, like a smooth vein, closely linking every corner of the manor.

In this molten gold afterglow, a little girl sat quietly on the windowsill, overlooking the scenery in the manor.

Her black hair was like late night silk, smooth and shiny black. The wind blew gently, and a few unruly strands of hair danced lightly beside her cheeks.

Her eyes were deep and bright, like the two brightest stars in the dark night, and her skin seemed to be blessed by the moonlight, with a faint silver glow in its whiteness.

Under the small nose bridge, the slightly open lips are a faint pink, as if they are the finest roses, subtle and a little shy.

The girl was wearing a simple black dress, the hem of her skirt swaying gently in the breeze, as if she was performing an elegant dance.

An open picture album lay quietly at her feet. Inside the album were illustrations of magic and adventure. Her fingertips lightly touched one of the pictures, as if she was thinking about something.

In this quiet environment, suddenly, an owl broke the tranquility.

From a distance, you can hear the rustling sound of its wings cutting through the air, fast and powerful.

The silhouette of the owl was looming in the gradually dimming sky, like an inky ghost dancing in the air.

There was a cunning light in its round eyes, and its unique cry echoed in the air, seeming to carry a strange rhythm.

Gradually, it approached the manor, its huge wings like two huge wingspans helping it to maintain balance in the night.

Its feathers gradually reveal intricate patterns in the dusk light. The stripes and spots on its wings look like patterns carefully designed by nature, revealing a wild beauty.

As the distance got closer, the owl seemed to be aware of the little girl's presence. It slowed down its flying speed, circled, and finally landed on the windowsill.

It brought a letter.

Salina reached out to take the letter and saw a somewhat familiar pattern on it. Under the wax seal was a shield-style emblem with a capital "H" on it, surrounded by patterns of lions, eagles, badgers and snakes.

Salina knew what it was—the admission letter to Hogwarts, which was why she was waiting here.

I opened the envelope and saw the familiar contents.

[…Dear Salina Swinburne: We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. …]

Slowly putting away the letter, Yvette turned and walked towards the study.

Now that she can learn powerful magic, she will have more room to implement her plans.

Donald Bowman is the butler of the Swinburne family. He has a tall and dignified figure, as if he was a gentleman from an aristocratic family of the last century.

His steps are always so steady and calm, just like the corridor in an old Victorian house with a long history, every step reveals the charm of rules and tradition.

His hairstyle was never casual, it was always combed meticulously. The hair on the back was lightly waxed and stuck cleanly to his scalp. The slightly graying temples added a bit of solemnity.

Donald's eyes are light brown, and through the lenses he can always see through every detail with a keen eye, not missing anything that may lower the reputation of his master's family.

He was wearing a formal black butler's suit, his jacket was impeccably tailored and pressed without any wrinkles.

The white shirt collar just reveals his cervical vertebrae, while the black bow tie is his signature decoration.

The intricate corsage on his chest was a unique symbol of aristocratic families, showing his status and the glory of the family he served.

The silver tray in his hand was like a shield of trust and obedience. It maintained perfect balance at all times and in all places, and the porcelain and tableware placed on it made no sound at all.

When he walked, the sound of his leather shoes touching the ground was neither too high nor too low, just enough to appear stiff but not too noticeable.

Donald always meets everyone's demands just right, neither being overly flattering nor appearing indifferent. He perfectly interprets the role of an excellent butler.

Donald always gave necessary guidance and advice to the young heir of the Swinburne family. His words were so calm and wise that people couldn't help but respect him.

Whether handling household affairs or dealing with social situations, Donald can do it with ease, making the entire mansion run in an orderly manner.

Donald was a very well-mannered man. Over the years, he basically managed to keep his emotions under control, and few people would see him lose his composure.

But at this moment, Donald was standing behind Selina with a serious face, his eyes almost overflowing with disapproval.
