Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 14 Harry's Invitation

Salina stood up and walked to the window. The white owl tilted its head, as if waiting for her touch.

She reached out and gently touched the soft white feathers, then handed over a plate of snacks.

While the owl was eating, Salina opened the letter.

It was written by Harry. Salina looked at the owl in front of her again and found that it was Hedwig.

In the letter, Harry briefly described his previous experiences and how he was now living in his good friend Ron's house, which was simple but full of sincere friendship.

His writing was full of desire and expectation. He wanted to invite Salina to the Burrow to spend a special day together.

Salina thought about it and felt that this was an opportunity to get in touch with Weasley, so she wrote a reply letter, expressing her willingness to visit the Weasley family and the time could be set at seven o'clock tomorrow morning.

After writing the letter, Salina folded it, put it in the envelope, and then called Hedwig's name softly.

Watching the white messenger flying quickly and swiftly into the distance, Salina turned around and began to prepare plans for the next day.

……

The first ray of dawn in the morning is soft and secretive, like a shy bride gently lifting her veil to reveal her shy smiling face.

The sky was a gradient of blue-purple, and the afterglow of the stars was still faintly visible, gradually disappearing into the increasingly dark colors.

At such a time, everything has an unreal and hazy beauty, and the boundary between wakefulness and sleepiness becomes blurred.

In the manor garden, the dew is crystal clear and cold, and drops of dew hang on the petals and green leaves, just like the regrets of the night being gently wiped away by the morning. The breeze blows gently, bringing the mixed smell of soil and flowers, heralding the arrival of a new day.

An unusual light broke the silence; it was a speeding car.

It glided along an invisible trajectory in a steady and gorgeous manner and landed in the center of the manor's grassy lawn.

There was a slight buzzing sound coming from the bottom of the flying car, and the body of the car was glowing with a faint blue light in the hazy morning light.

As the wheels gently touched the ground, the flying car made a slight sound.

The car door slowly opened, and several youthful and energetic figures soon came out. They walked briskly, and their faces were filled with smiles that are unique to youth.

Among these boys, the one with black hair was Harry.

The sun shone through the gaps in the clouds, shining on his iconic lightning scar.

Donald, who had been waiting at the door, gestured to Harry, saying that they had just arrived in time for breakfast and could stay and eat together before leaving.

The boys agreed, and Donald led them through several corridors and into the dining room.

The spacious restaurant is filled with a variety of food, including the common barbecue and butter bread, as well as some strange-looking mysterious dishes - delicacies from the mysterious East.

Breakfast time is always beautiful and precious, especially for children who are still in the growth and development period, a delicious and nutritious breakfast is essential.

The aroma of food drifted through the restaurant, making everyone's appetite grow. They sat down without hesitation and began to enjoy this sumptuous breakfast.

The barbecue releases a charming caramel aroma in the mouth, coupled with unique spices, which makes people want to savor it again and again. And those mysterious oriental delicacies give them a brand new taste bud experience, and every bite is full of surprises.

They ate with gusto, and from time to time the sound of satisfied burps and joyful conversations could be heard from the table.

After eating and drinking, they took Salina on the flying car and started today's day trip to the Burrow.

……

In the dim light, a speeding car cut through the sky, carrying Salina and the boys back to the Burrow.

Below, wisps of smoke rose from the chimney on the roof, indicating that the fire in the house had been lit.

As we got closer to the farm, the car slowed down to a safer speed and slowly passed over the fruit trees and vegetable gardens.

Looking down from the air, in the morning light, the boundaries of the farm are clearly visible, contrasting with the sparkling lake, and the fresh air is mixed with the scent of grass and dew.

At the door of the humble dwelling, the old weather vane hung in the wind turned and made a slight creaking sound.

The years have left traces of varying depths under the eaves, and the car has landed gently on the lawn covered with fragmented light.

As soon as I pushed open the door of the Weasley family's house, a mixed smell of onion and alchemical herbs hit me in the face.

There were several iron pots on the kitchen stove, stewing some soup, with steam swirling above.

On the shelves above the windows were various small bottles containing all kinds of colorful potions and spices.

In the middle of the kitchen is a cleanly polished wooden table covered with a light blue tablecloth, and around it are several matching chairs with intricately carved yet slightly mottled colorful patterns.

The chairs appear to be made of a magical wood that changes color depending on the owner’s mood, and are now a tranquil pale green.

The wall clock on the opposite wall is particularly eye-catching. Unlike ordinary clocks, this seemingly old wooden wall clock has only one long needle and no numbers are marked on it. Words such as "make tea", "feed the chickens", and "you're going to be late" are written on the clock face.

A huge mirror by the mantelpiece reflected the entire room, its ancient and delicately carved frame covered with dust.

The boys always looked a bit casual, with their shirt collars loosely open.

So as they passed, the mirror suddenly screamed, "Tuck your shirt in, you're sloppy!"

Harry and Ron were stunned for a moment, their faces flushed with strange colors, and then they hurriedly adjusted their clothes, carefully tucking the corner of their shirts into their waistbands.

After everything was ready, they set off again.

The walls of the living room are covered with all kinds of wands and strange magical decorations, and the bookshelves are filled with dusty magic books and various inventions, from talking armor to flying brooms, and even many items from the Muggle world.

The room was dotted with bright red and gold, as eye-catching as the Weasleys' fiery red hair.

The Weasley home seems to have become a unique space where the ordinary and the extraordinary blend together, where mysterious magic is intertwined with everyday life, a home full of traditional atmosphere and magical wonders.

Ron led Harry and Salina through a narrow and winding corridor.

The corridors are filled with Weasley family photos and humorous message boards. Every step you take, you can feel the liveliness and unique sense of humor of the Weasley family.

The staircase twists and turns upward like a spiral staircase in an ancient castle. Each step seems to tell the vicissitudes of history, and the wood creaks under the traces of time.
