Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 18 Speeding Car

There was laughter in Serena's carriage. Percy returned to the prefects' carriage, so only the twins and Ginny were left there.

At this moment, the carriage was filled with the scent of crayons and paper, and the small table by the window was covered with laughter and warmth. Colorful confetti fluttered in the air, like blooming flowers, embellishing this small world.

The Weasley twins and Ginny sat in a corner. The twins showed Ginny their favorite prank props from time to time. Each strange little gadget sparkled with colorful lights in the sun.

Salina helped Ginny wipe away her tears and tidied up her messy clothes and hair.

Ginny's smile gradually recovered from her sadness, her eyes wandered back and forth over the gadgets, and she uttered a soft exclamation of admiration from time to time. Her eyes sparkled with renewed vitality, like dewdrops on a spring morning, shining slightly under the morning sun.

The atmosphere in the car gradually became relaxed and cheerful, as if the conflict just now was just a short nightmare. Now that they woke up, everything seemed beautiful again.

Sharina sat opposite with a faint smile on her face, joining in the discussion and laughter from time to time.

Later, Salina heard from the Weasley siblings what happened to them that morning.

Ginny whispered about the morning hustle and bustle of her family. She clearly remembered the hurried footsteps of her parents and the calls of her brothers.

At the last moment before the train started, they hurriedly boarded the train, everyone feeling tired from the journey.

Her voice sounded a little uneasy, as if she was still reeling from the chaos of the morning.

After getting on the train, they found that Harry and Ron were missing. The brothers and sisters could only search for them in each carriage. Unexpectedly, Ginny was bullied by Pansy and those Slytherin guys.

Then the twins started to complain about Slytherin. They thought that all the people from that place were bad guys.

The carriage was filled with laughter, and as the twins chatted, there seemed to be particles of relaxation floating in the air.

The little gadgets in their hands emitted colorful lights in the sunlight, and Ginny's mood gradually brightened like the sky after the dark clouds dispersed.

"Oh, they are so good at this!" George said indignantly, "Look at Draco's face, he might as well hang a sign saying 'I am a bad seed' on him."

"That's right!" Fred took over the conversation, "And those Slytherin followers, they all act like they have some big secrets, who knows what kind of pranks they are playing."

When Draco's father was mentioned, the two of them were even more excited, as if they wanted to throw all the unhappiness away.

"Yes, I bet that guy is definitely not a good person." George raised his eyebrows, "He always hangs around the Ministry of Magic and finds all kinds of reasons to make things difficult for our dad."

"Don't mention it. Every time he shows up, the air becomes sticky and he has a stern face all day long, as if we owe him money." Fred sneered, his voice full of disdain.

They talked about buying school supplies for the new semester in Diagon Alley, and Mr. Arthur had a fight with Lucius in Flourish and Blotts.

"Right, right, right. At that time, Flourish and Blotts turned into a boxing ring, and the bookshelves became the scene of a brawl." George couldn't help but laugh and imitated, "The two of them were fighting back and forth, and the people around them were so scared that they didn't dare to make a sound, for fear of being implicated."

Fred said with pride: "Our dad gave that guy a good punch, and he got what he deserved."

The train rumbled along the rails, and the scenery outside the windows on both sides flew by like flowing lights.

The shadows of the trees are swaying, wild flowers are blooming on the grassland, and the golden sunlight is shining on the green leaves, reflecting spots of light.

Sometimes, the train passes through small towns, where small houses like fireworks are dotted at the foot of the distant mountains. Occasionally, you can see smoke rising from the chimneys, like a quiet pastoral landscape painting.

The train passes through fields where the crops are ripe and farmers are working hard. Occasionally, you can see a scarecrow stationed in the golden wheat fields, like a guardian.

Small rivers stretch parallel to the railway. The water is crystal clear and the willow trees on the river bank gently sway their soft branches, which are reflected on the water surface, outlining a touching pastoral scenery.

The mountains in the distance are rolling, and the mountaintops are covered with snow that never melts all year round. Under the sunlight, they shine with bright white light, forming a sharp contrast with the lush forests around them.

Clouds float in the blue sky, sometimes blocking the sun, allowing the light to shine through the gaps in the clouds and onto the earth like intermittent filaments, adding a dynamic beauty to this ever-changing scenery.

During this long journey, the train seems to have crossed the boundaries of seasons. Winter snow, autumn leaves and summer sun appear alternately. There are different scenery to appreciate at every moment, and every perspective is a feast for the eyes.

As the twins were making humorous comments, a shadow suddenly fell on the window of the train, interrupting their conversation.

Salina and the Weasley brothers and sisters looked up at the same time, and saw a flying car speeding through the sky, leaving an abrupt black line.

The sunlight was blocked by the body of the speeding train, casting a shadow on the speeding train.

The flying car was like a meteor falling from the sky, passing over the rails smoothly and quickly.

Even though it was hundreds of meters in the air, one could still feel the unfettered freedom of the flying car.

Ginny seemed to be able to vaguely see a figure in the car, and the familiar outline made her heart beat faster.

Yes, that's Harry and Ron.

The flying car glided and seemed to have disappeared in their trajectory for a moment, then suddenly reappeared a moment later and looked down at the train below.

The figures of Harry and Ron seemed a little blurred in the flying dust and light. The car whizzed past, and the two men waved their arms and shouted loudly. Although the distance and speed made it difficult to hear their words, Salina felt the excitement when they greeted each other.

The twins quickly stopped complaining and crowded to the window, watching the car speed away, leaving behind a trail of smoke-like afterimages.

Fred's scream cut through the air in the car, his voice carrying a hint of excitement and surprise, like a sudden thunder: "So those two guys are there!"

George followed the speeding car with a sly look in his eyes, and a smug smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. "They really planned an incredible adventure."

"Let's do the same next time, Wuhu! That must be very exciting!" Fred's words flashed with eagerness. His proposal, which was full of adventure and excitement, filled the entire carriage with an atmosphere of restlessness.

George's face lit up with excitement and he fully agreed with Fred's proposal.

"Driving to school in a flying car is a great idea!" He almost jumped up and clapped his hands to express his approval.
