Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 17: Argument in the Hallway

After a while, Salina heard what seemed to be an argument in the aisle outside. The noise grew louder and louder, disturbing the quiet atmosphere in the carriage.

Serena recognized the familiar voices of the Weasley twins, who were always full of energy and playfulness.

At this moment, their voices were filled with dissatisfaction and sarcasm, penetrating the roaring echo of the train.

Although Sharina didn't know the specific details of the argument, the brothers were clearly in a state of emotional distress.

Almost at the same time, Draco, who was sitting opposite Serena, raised his eyebrows, suddenly stood up and walked towards the carriage door.

He flung open the door, and the voices of the Weasley twins, no longer separated by the thin partition of the carriage, became clearer, with an urgency and anxiety that could not be suppressed.

The tone of their confrontation was mixed with Percy's persuasion trying to maintain order, and the sound of Ginny crying for unknown reasons.

It was a complex interweaving of emotions that instantly turned the calm atmosphere into one of tension and anxiety.

So Salina also got up from her seat and walked to the aisle.

……

Salina stood in the aisle, carefully maintaining her balance to avoid being thrown out by the moving train.

Not far in front of Salina, two groups of people were confronting each other, the red-haired Weasley siblings and several Slytherin students.

Fred stood at the front, his hands on his hips, his face full of dissatisfaction and sarcasm, obviously unwilling to give in.

Ginny stood behind George, her eyes were red, obviously she had just cried, her shoulders were shaking slightly, and she looked helpless and aggrieved.

Salina saw Draco walking to the Slytherin side, and asked the two big guys with his hands on his hips, "Crabbe, Goyle, where have you two been? Didn't I tell you to take your seats and come find me later?"

Goyle said aggrievedly: "We were originally planning to come to you, but these Weasley guys suddenly wanted to take the place we occupied, and Pansy started arguing with them."

Fred interrupted, "Nonsense, who said this is your position? It was clearly given to us by our sister Ginny. If we weren't looking for that stupid brother, how could we have given you the opportunity to bully our sister?"

The two sides started arguing again because they had no idea what was going on.

This time Draco also joined in. Facing a group of red-haired Weasley family members, his grey-blue eyes flashed with disdain, and his voice was filled with contempt and arrogance, "You Weasleys are really bringing shame to the pure-blood family."

Facing Draco's provocation, George's counterattack was swift and sharp. He didn't care about the pure-blood superiority theory at all. "Who cares about the pure-blood glory? It's just a title for you guys to entertain yourselves."

The tension between them was escalating, the air seemed to be filled with sparks, and both groups of students were ready to engage in fierce battle at any time.

However, at this juncture, Percy once again stepped in and tried to calm the storm.

"Stop making noise, keep quiet on the train, don't walk around, and go back to the carriage quickly."

Percy's expression was quite serious, trying to convey his authority, "Your quarreling is not only disturbing other students, but also violates school rules."

However, even though Percy tried to restore order, the confrontation and inner dissatisfaction between the two sides were still boiling like volcanic magma, ready to erupt at any time.

Draco's proud face was full of disdain, even a bit of malice, and he slowly approached Percy, like a meerkat ready to give a final blow to an insignificant mouse.

The air around him froze because of his arrogance, and his gray-blue eyes reflected a light of contempt. He pushed Percy's shoulder roughly and sneered disdainfully: "Who do you think you are?"

Percy was pushed back a step, a trace of surprise flashed across his face. He obviously didn't expect that as a prefect, he would be challenged so openly.

The frames of Percy's glasses trembled slightly, as if his whole body was shaking, but he straightened his back, and his warm brown eyes, which were in stark contrast to Madraco's, showed firmness and unquestionable authority.

"I'm the prefect." He responded in a deep voice, every word seemed to pop out from between his teeth. He tried to hide his anger, but his trembling voice still revealed his inner excitement.

Fred and George poked their heads out from behind Percy, like two playful foxes. Fred said with a joking tone, "That's right, the prefect's authority cannot be challenged!"

George grinned wickedly and echoed his brother's words, "Are you scared? The prefect's reputation is not just for show." The tacit understanding between the two was enough to make people laugh.

Percy couldn't help but turned around and scolded, "You two shut up!"

Pansy Parkinson's posture seemed aggressive, she put her hands on her waist, and her provocative eyes seemed to defeat the other party directly.

Her lips were thin, and every word she uttered was full of disdain and impatience. Her voice was full of obvious arrogance and command. "Then you should ask your brothers to vacate the carriage, so that we can go in."

The Slytherin students around her smiled and seemed to support Pansy's behavior.

Ginny's tears fell on her cheeks, giving her otherwise resolute attitude a gentle layer of sadness.

She cried and retorted in a trembling voice, sobbing but still revealing her determination, "This is our carriage."

Her little hands tightly grasped her brother's sleeves, seeking comfort.

Looking at the provocative smiles of the Slytherins, then at the twins Fred and George who were trying to take direct action, and Percy who was trying to calm the situation but was a little clumsy, Serena stood aside and shook her head slightly.

I couldn't help but feel a little helpless, thinking that these guys in front of me are really just children.

Seeing that the dispute between the two sides was becoming more and more intense, Salina stepped through the tense atmosphere and reached out to hold Ginny's hand, which was trembling with fear and grievance.

She whispered to comfort her, "Don't cry, Ginny, come and share a compartment with me. It's spacious over there, with plenty of space."

Salina's voice was calm and warm, like the sunshine in winter, illuminating Ginny's tearful world.

Ginny looked up and saw Salina's gentle smile through her tearful eyes. Her fragile heart seemed to have found support.

She nodded, and Salina led Ginny to her own carriage.

The Weasley children were very surprised to see their familiar friends. Being able to stay with friends was certainly much more interesting than quarreling with the annoying Slytherins, so they ignored Draco and the others and turned around to leave with Serena.

Draco was stunned, obviously not expecting that Salina would know anyone from the Weasley family.

But before he could say anything, the door of Salina's carriage was slammed shut by George.

So he could only watch with a gloomy face, then turned around and went back to the carriage they had just robbed with Pansy and the others.

Crabbe scratched his head in confusion, "Boss, didn't we get the carriage? Why do you look unhappy?"

Draco glared at him coldly, "Shut up."

Goyle chuckled on the side and picked up a piece of chocolate to eat.

Pansy looked at Draco thoughtfully, but did not ask any more questions. Instead, she began to trim her nails seriously.
