Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 34: Meeting the Twins

As Salina followed Harry and the others away quickly, she looked back at the Bloody Baron.

It is said that this ghost is very powerful and even the naughty Peeves is afraid of him.

As if he noticed Salina's gaze, Bloody Baron's cold and heartless gaze shifted over.

Salina was stunned for a moment, feeling that her behavior seemed a little offensive, so she smiled apologetically and quickly looked away.

When Salina turned around, she suddenly felt something grabbing her wrist.

Before she could react, a strong force suddenly pulled her to the side. She fell unexpectedly and the world was spinning in front of her eyes.

The next second, she fell into a warm and broad embrace.

Salina was caught off guard. She looked up subconsciously and saw the fiery red hair again.

Redhead again? Did she step into the Weasleys' nest? She fell into Weasley's arms twice in one day.

A concerned voice sounded beside me, "Are you okay?"

Salina turned around and recognized that it was George who spoke.

"fine."

At this time, Fred, who was holding her, also let go of her hand and said with a grin, "Of course it's okay. Thanks to my quick eyes and hands, I was able to prevent Salina from seeing the internal organs of those ghosts."

Only then did Salina notice that a group of ghosts were walking in a line in the aisle on the side. If Fred hadn't pulled her back, she would probably have bumped into the ghosts' bodies and seen a pile of internal organs.

"Thank you." Salina thanked gratefully.

George looked at her and asked, "Why are you here?"

"Oh, I came here with Harry and the others," Salina explained.

Fred raised an eyebrow, "Harry? Where are they?"

Salina was stunned for a moment, only to realize that Harry and the other two had disappeared without a trace.

"This……"

George smiled and said, "Maybe we just got separated. Do you want to hang out with us next?"

Fred nodded and said, "We have found out a lot of interesting things. It's definitely interesting!"

As he spoke, Fred handed over a small transparent cake that emitted a faint blue glow. "Would you like to try one?"

Salina reached out to take it, and hesitated as she looked at the small cake that was obviously ghost food.

“Is this really edible?”

The twins looked at each other and said with a smile: "Of course... you can't eat it!"

"This is our new research direction, fireworks that look like ghost cakes! Are you interested in investing? With just one gold galleon, you can become one of our shareholders!" Fred tried to tempt.

George pulled out another thing that looked like a ghost apple pie and said, "We've also developed this kind of apple pie fireworks. Just one can create a rain of fireworks that covers the entire Gryffindor common room!"

Just as Salina was listening to the twins bragging about their business empire, an extremely shrill scream suddenly came from the distance in the banquet hall.

Fred picked his ears and said, "It sounds like the ghost in the girls' bathroom on the third floor, Moaning Myrtle. What happened to her?"

George saw a familiar ghost in extravagant clothing floating among the ghosts. "Maybe Peeves has played another prank and he was stimulated."

Salina followed the direction of their gaze and saw Peeves wearing a bright orange party hat, a spinning bow tie, and a sly grin.

Next to Peeves were Harry and the other two.

Fred folded his hands and laughed, "It looks like our stupid brother is in trouble again."

George also watched with interest, and neither of them seemed to have any intention of stepping forward to help.

So Salina said goodbye to the twins and ran towards Harry and the other two.

When she arrived, she saw Hermione with her shoulders slumped and her head lowered in self-blame.

After some inquiries, I found out what had just happened.

When Harry and the other two were leaving, they ran into Myrtle. They wanted to leave immediately, but they didn't expect Peeves to call Myrtle directly and tell her what Hermione and the others had said, which made the ghost Myrtle angry and leave.

"Oh, this is all my fault," she said, her voice full of regret.

"Hermione, don't be like this, it's not your fault." Salina reached out and gently held Hermione's arm, hoping to convey some comfort.

Hermione raised her eyes, tears glistening in them. She pondered for a moment, then said firmly: "I have to go and apologize to Myrtle. I hope it won't be too difficult."

So the four of them said goodbye to Nick and headed towards the bathroom on the third floor.

Suddenly, Harry's steps staggered, as if he was troubled by an invisible force.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Ron inquired.

Harry's brows were furrowed, and his eyes looked unusually deep in the dim light. "That voice appeared again, did you hear it?" As he spoke, he looked around, as if trying to find the source of the voice.

He knew he was not hallucinating. The cold words sounded like a ghost's whisper, echoing in his ears.

"What's that sound?" Hermione became even more confused. She looked straight at Harry, her expression showing surprise and a bit of worry.

"It's the cold, murderous voice I told you about a few days ago." Harry answered with a hoarse voice. His eyes behind the glasses were particularly alert, trying hard to find the declaration of hunger. "It said it was starving for a long, long time..."

Salina's heart suddenly contracted as she realized that Harry was probably talking about the basilisk.

"I smell blood, it's going to kill someone." Harry stared at the dark ceiling and smelled the rust in the air uneasily. "It's moving upwards, follow me, this way." The low voice was urgent.

Harry hurried up the stairs, and the others followed him, through the entrance hall, and up to the top of the marble staircase.

"Hurry up!" Harry shouted at the corner of the upper corridor, his voice full of obvious anxiety, and the marble stairs echoed crisply under his rapid steps.

Harry's eyes were fixed forward, his ears perked up, trying to catch that mysterious and dangerous sound.

On Hermione's face, tension and suspicion were intertwined. Her brows were furrowed, and for a moment she didn't know what to do.

Her voice trembled with nervousness, and confusion and fear flashed in her eyes: "Harry, what are you looking for? I didn't hear anything."

Hermione looked around. There was an uneasy atmosphere in the air. She tried to calm her breathing and tried to find clues to the mysterious sound Harry mentioned, but she could not catch anything except her own heartbeat and the sound of the wind not far away.

This made her feel even more anxious, wondering if there was really some danger approaching that she was unaware of.

Before Hermione could finish her words, she suddenly gasped and pointed down the corridor.

"Look!" Hermione's voice was filled with surprise, and her fingers were shaking constantly.
