Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 61 Chase

Sharina sat in her chair wrapped in a soft woolen blanket. The soft light illuminated the table full of books and some magical materials. Her face looked particularly calm under the light.

He reached out and took a delicate feather pen and a seemingly ordinary notebook from the pen holder. He gently opened the notebook and brushed his fingertips across the smooth paper.

The feather pen shone lightly under the light, and the tip of the pen lightly touched the paper. The moment the black ink touched the paper, it was like a drop of rain falling into the desert, being greedily absorbed by the paper without leaving a trace, as if it had never existed.

This notebook records Salina's memory of the plot as well as her own guesses and analysis. A good memory is not as good as a bad pen. She has no system and is worried that her memory will become blurred as time goes by.

Because she didn't know magic yet, the initial content was written in Chinese oracle bone script. Even if people here saw it, they would just think it was a child's graffiti.

After learning magic, she used magic to hide the previous contents and prepared special ink to add an extra layer of protection to the contents of the notebook.

As night fell, the black sky was painted with deep blue. The stars were like countless bright gems inlaid on the sky, flashing soft light. The bright moon was hanging high in the sky, casting a silver glow, covering the earth with a thin layer of frost. The breeze blew gently, and the leaves rustled, as if whispering.

The surface of the Black Lake in the distance sparkled in the moonlight, as if it was covered with a layer of broken silver. A few night birds flew across the lake, drawing elegant arcs, and then disappeared into the night.

Salina saw Dumbledore holding a lamp and a man dressed in Ministry of Magic uniform walking towards Hagrid's hut.

I guess that should be the current Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge.

After a while, a man with long platinum hair holding a scepter also walked towards there.

Hagrid's hut is really lively tonight.

Turning back, Salina saw that Ginny had already changed into her pajamas and was ready to go to bed.

"Sweet dreams, Ginny!"

"You too, Serena, goodnight!"

Watching Ginny's bed curtains fall, Salina also returned to the warm bed from the window. The wind outside was howling outside the window, but the room was quiet and warm.

Have a good night and nothing happened.

The next day at breakfast, Salina heard from Harry and Ron that Hagrid was accused of being a suspect and was taken away by people from the Ministry of Magic last night; Lucius brought the consent letter from the school directors to remove Dumbledore from his position as headmaster.

At the same time, they followed Hagrid's hint last night and went to the Forbidden Forest to find his pet eight-eyed spider. They confirmed that the incident that year had nothing to do with Hagrid, and the thing in the secret room was the spider's natural enemy - the basilisk.

Although they were almost eaten by spiders afterwards, the Weasley family's flying car saved them at the critical moment.

The two were thinking about how to use this news to bring Hagrid and Dumbledore back to school. They wanted to tell Professor McGonagall, but they didn't know how to explain the source of the news.

A few people walked towards the Gryffindor common room while discussing, but because the topic was not convenient for others to hear, they walked at the end of the team, keeping a slight distance away.

Salina suddenly felt as if someone was watching them, so she pulled Ginny and slowed down a little.

Watching Harry and Ron disappear around the corner, Salina silently grasped the wand in her robe.

A figure suddenly jumped out from the shadows and grabbed Ginny!

Salina, who was prepared, pushed Ginny around the corner and cast a sleeping spell on her.

The opponent's reaction speed was also very fast. He rolled on the ground and the spell hit the wall.

Hearing the noise, Harry and Ron ran back quickly from the corner and saw Salina chasing a figure running in the opposite direction.

"What happened?!"

"Follow up and have a look."

After saying that, the two of them hurriedly chased after him.

"Huh?! Professor McGonagall said we can't run around..." Ginny hesitated for a moment, then hurriedly chased after him.

The wind whistled in her ears, and Salina's eyes were fixed on the hooded figure in front of her. The two of them were walking through the corridors of the castle, one in front and one behind.

The hooded figure turned sharply and jumped onto a moving staircase. Salina looked at it and deftly went around from the other side. The chase between the two entered a white-hot stage.

Several figures were running wildly in the corridor, attracting a lot of attention.

"What happened over there?"

"What are they doing?"

Cedric Diggory of Hufflepuff was also one of the curious onlookers, but when he noticed that the person running away in front seemed to be someone he knew, he hurriedly joined the chase.

Salina chased the man all the way, intentionally forcing him to death, and finally blocked him after a minute.

On the stone walls on both sides, mosses and vines covered every corner, giving people a gloomy feeling. The stone floor underfoot was uneven, and with every step, footsteps could be heard echoing in the silent air. The candlesticks above the head had long been extinguished, and only a few weak rays of sunlight came in from the tall narrow windows, barely illuminating the space below.

The air was filled with an old, musty smell, as if this place had been sealed off for centuries and time had stopped. On the wall hung several tattered portraits, the faces of the characters in the paintings were blurred, and they seemed to be quietly watching every intruder in the darkness.

Salina pointed her wand at the hooded man in front of her and said coldly, "Don't bother. Hand over the thing. I know you must have it with you."

The person on the other side didn't say anything. Just as the two were confronting each other, Harry and his companions caught up with them, panting.

Among them, Cedric ran over to stand between Salina and the hooded man, and said to Salina: "What happened, classmate, please put away your wand. It is against school rules to cast spells on classmates."

Before he could finish his words, he saw Salina cast a spell at him.

"You!" In surprise, he heard a loud noise behind him.

Cedric turned around in disbelief and looked at the person behind him.

Just now, Salina used the protective armor spell on him, but the people behind him attacked him.

The airflow caused by the rebound of the attack from the Iron Armor Curse blew away the man's hood, revealing a face that everyone was familiar with.

Harry exclaimed, "McMillan?!"

Ron couldn't understand and whispered, "Are you crazy? What on earth are you doing?"

Cedric also couldn't understand it, he whispered his friend's name, "Ernie?"

There was no emotion in Ernie's eyes, he just raised his wand again.

Salina pushed Cedric towards Harry, and then started a fierce battle with Ernie who was controlled by Riddle.
