Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 9 Sweet Dreams

Just as Salina and Harry were about to reach the corner of Madam Malkin's robe shop, a breeze with a hint of coolness blew up the fallen leaves and a poster on the ground, gently hitting the side of Harry's leg.

Harry stopped and the poster floated down, just blocking his way.

"What is this?" Harry picked up the poster and looked at the face that was both familiar and unfamiliar to them.

[The current best-selling novelist Gilderoy Lockhart will hold a new book signing event at Flourish and Blotts! 】

In the picture, Gilderoy Lockhart stands in a confident and elegant posture. His azure blue wizard robe is unique, dotted with gold edges, and seems to have a faint luster.

The books and magical light surrounding the poster add a touch of mystery. The blonde hair is carefully combed, the face is filled with a bright smile, and the white teeth look particularly eye-catching under the camera.

Harry said: "Looks like a famous novelist. Oh, wait, I seem to have heard this name somewhere... Oh, it's Hermione. She kept talking about her in my ear some time ago. Oh, Hermione is my friend. She is also a Gryffindor. Last semester we..."

The two slowly walked away as Harry recounted his first year adventures.

……

As night fell, the atmosphere in the banquet hall gradually changed from the initial lively and noisy atmosphere to a peaceful and relaxed tranquility.

On the ceiling, the soft candlelight no longer danced violently, but swayed gently, refracting faint spots of light and illuminating the entire hall, like a quiet nocturne.

On the long table, the sound of crystal wine glasses clinking against each other became increasingly sparse, replaced by low conversations accompanied by occasional laughter.

The servants efficiently and silently put away the porcelain on the table without disturbing the guests. Their movements were smooth and even.

The light fruity aroma and lingering fragrance of desserts after the meal still linger in the air, leaving an endless aftertaste.

The band in the corner, who once lit up the entire night with their gorgeous music, now quietly puts down their instruments, and the delicate melody and brisk rhythm have fallen silent, leaving only the barely audible whispers, like the rustling of leaves, gently floating past the ears.

The banquet was coming to an end, and not far away, the bright moonlight gently filled the entire manor, creating a unique solemnity and beauty. The silver gauze stuck to the window lattice and slowly slid down, as if spreading peaceful blessings in every corner, guarding the night together with this ancient manor.

Sharina and Harry returned to the manor at the end of the banquet. After saying goodbye to the guests, tonight's banquet ended perfectly.

On the way home, Harry looked out the car window and saw the endless twilight hiding the hustle and bustle of the city, turning the night into a tranquil outdoor painting.

The dim street lights quietly guard every inch of silence. The iconic red double-decker buses shuttle through the hazy fog. The occasional honking sound echoes in the empty streets like the breath of the night.

The shadows of the ancient buildings change with the movement of the moonlight, as if they hide many unknown secrets.

The car was driving quietly on the winding road, and the tires rolled over the gravel, making a small and regular sound.

The Dursleys sat in the car, with irrepressible excitement on their faces.

Vernon talked about how those wealthy businessmen and politicians spoke to him politely, Petunia discussed the gorgeous clothes and accessories of those young ladies, and Dudley was savoring the taste of various delicacies, clamoring to eat them tomorrow.

Emotions were running high in the car, as everyone in the Dursley household was preparing for a great end to this extraordinary evening.

However, in this bustle, Harry was exceptionally quiet.

He leaned against the car window, looking up at the deep night sky. Looking at the twinkling stars, he felt a strange sense of belonging.

Today was indeed the happiest day of his recent life. He thought to himself that this adventure was not only fulfilling, but also temporarily pulled him away from his usual oppressive and constrained life, allowing him to enjoy rare freedom and peace.

In his heart, he felt that this happiness was second only to the day when Hagrid came to him and opened the door to the magical world for him.

Although it had been a while since they said goodbye, Harry's heartbeat still retained a lingering sense of joy.

……

After returning to his little room, Harry couldn't help but go to Hedwig's cage and share everything that happened tonight with it.

Hedwig's big round eyes stared at Harry, as if she could feel the excitement in Harry's heart.

Its feathers are as white as snow and reflect a soft luster even in dim light.

Hedwig seemed to understand her owner's feelings very well. She would occasionally nod gently or purr softly to show her attention and support.

Hedwig's crystal eyes flashed with wisdom from time to time, and she seemed extremely focused, as if she was trying to capture every detail and not miss any wonderful description.

When Harry talked about dessert, he suddenly realized that he still had a handkerchief in his pocket.

Harry gently unfolded it. The handkerchief was made of soft and delicate material, with an exquisite rose embroidered on the corner.

The handkerchief seemed to retain the scent of its owner, and the faint fragrance was as attractive as the lingering aroma of dessert floating in the evening breeze.

"I have to find a time to return it to her."

In the night sky, the stars seem to be winking mischievously, blooming in the boundless darkness, and scattering countless twinkling points of light.

Bathed in the moonlight, Harry slowly fell asleep with a smile on his face.

In his dream, he was wandering on a grassland full of blooming flowers. The sun was warm and gentle, and the gentle breeze blew across his cheeks, bringing bursts of fragrance.

In the distance, Hagrid's loud laughter could be heard faintly, leading Harry towards a vast world.

In this dream manor, Harry could clearly see every flower blooming and feel their softness and fragrance.

He walked side by side with his friends, and everyone's face was filled with happy smiles.

The sound of the wind passing by my ears seems to be telling words of blessing.

Suddenly, Harry looked up and saw a group of colorful balloons slowly rising into the sky, and the colorful lights were shining with the shining stars.

He closed his eyes, listened to the laughter of people around him, and felt the joy from the heart. He knew that this was such an unreal and beautiful dream.

In the dream, Harry did not have to face the annoying Dursleys, but had a home of his own.

Immersed in it, he forgot all his worries and sorrows, as if he was in a carefree world.

The innocent laughter echoed in the night sky. Even in his dreams, Harry could feel unprecedented peace and happiness.

When the first ray of sunshine in the early morning awakened him, he greeted the new day with the fragrance of the flowers in his dream and a heart full of joy.
