Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 97: The House of Wishes

Greyback felt the powerful magic emanating from Salina and was stunned for a moment, but soon he was consumed by a stronger rage. He roared and rushed towards Salina, his claws going straight for her throat.

A sneer appeared on Salina's lips, and at the moment when Greyback was about to touch her, she moved.

"Shattered into pieces." The wand emitted a dazzling light intermittently.

The next second, Greyback let out a scream, and his huge body flew backwards like a kite with a broken string, falling heavily on the cobblestone road.

Everyone, including Cedric, was stunned. They had never seen Serena display such powerful magic, let alone such a cruel side of her.

"You..." Cedric looked at Salina, his eyes full of disbelief.

Salina looked coldly at Greyback who was lying on the ground. She knew that this blow was not enough to kill him, but it could at least keep him quiet for a while. She quickly took out a bottle of powder from her pocket and sprinkled it on Cedric's wound.

"Hiss...what are you doing?" Cedric frowned in pain, but found a cool feeling coming from the wound, and the pain was obviously relieved.

"This is a hemostatic medicine I mixed myself. It is much more effective than ordinary potions." Salina answered without raising her head, with a barely perceptible worry in her tone.

"Thank you." Cedric looked at her focused profile, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart. He always knew that Salina was different, but the strength and decisiveness she showed today still surprised and shocked him.

However, before they could say a few more words, waves of creepy howling came from afar, getting closer and closer, becoming clearer and louder.

"Oh no, it's werewolves! More werewolves!" Someone in the crowd shouted, and the scene, which had calmed down a little due to Greyback's fall, suddenly became chaotic again.

"Awoo--" The deafening wolf howl resounded through the night sky. A group of huge werewolves rushed towards them from the direction of the forest. Their scarlet eyes flashed bloodthirsty light in the night, and their sharp fangs and claws emitted a terrifying cold light.

"Run!" A burst of screams broke out from the crowd, and people fled in panic. The originally orderly team collapsed in an instant.

"Damn it! How could this happen?" Cedric cursed. He endured the pain and tried to stand up, but was pulled back by Salina.

"Don't move, your injuries haven't healed yet." Salina said calmly, her eyes sweeping across the chaotic scene in front of her, her brows slightly furrowed.

In the chaos, Salina supported Cedric and stumbled into the back door of Honeydukes Candy House.

Cedric's breathing became more and more rapid, and the blood oozing from the wound dyed Salina's cuffs red, like a blooming black mandala.

"Hold on to me, Cedric, we'll be there soon!" Salina whispered, with a hint of imperceptible anxiety in her tone.

Cedric gritted his teeth and said nothing, but just held Salina's arm more tightly. He didn't want to make her worry, but he really felt bad now, his head was dizzy, and everything in front of him began to become blurry.

Walking through the narrow corridor, Salina skillfully knocked on a brick wall a few times. With a slight vibration, the wall slowly opened, revealing a dark secret passage.

"This is..." Cedric asked weakly. He had never seen this secret passage before.

"Don't talk, follow me!" Salina didn't explain, but pulled him quickly into the secret passage.

The secret passage was filled with a strong candy aroma, which formed a sharp contrast with the chaotic scene outside. Salina walked through the darkness skillfully, and after turning several corners, they finally arrived at the interior of Hogwarts Castle.

"Pipi, we need your help!" Salina whispered into the air.

A shrill voice sounded in their ears: "PiPi is always here! PiPi is happy to serve you!"

A house-elf wearing a dirty tea towel appeared in front of them. It was Pippi, the house-elf of Hogwarts.

"Take us to a safe place, Pippi, we need a quiet place." said Salina.

"No problem! Pippi knows a place!" Pippi said, snapping his fingers, and Salina and Cedric disappeared instantly.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a spacious and bright room filled with a variety of furniture and decorations.

"This is..." Cedric looked around in surprise. He had never seen such a magical place.

"This is the House of Wishes," Salina explained. "It can be transformed into anything we want it to be."

"This is incredible!" Cedric exclaimed. He struggled to stand up but was held down by Salina.

"Don't move, your injuries need treatment." Salina said, taking out an exquisite silver box from her pocket. After opening it, various herbs and crystal clear bottles and jars were neatly arranged inside. It was obviously an extra-large space that had been cast with the Traceless Extension Spell.

"What are you doing?" Cedric asked. A hint of doubt flashed in his eyes as he watched Salina skillfully handle the herbs.

"I'm making a healing potion for you." Salina answered without raising her head, her fingers moving nimbly among the herbs as if she was playing a beautiful piece of music.

Cedric was even more surprised. He didn't expect that she had this trick. He couldn't help but said, "How many surprises do you have that I don't know about?"

Salina choked at these words and almost knocked over the potion bottle. She raised her head and looked at Cedric, with a mysterious smile on her lips, "Want to know? Then take good care of your injuries, and I'll tell you when you're better."

Cedric looked at Salina's sly smile, and suddenly an inexplicable urge surged in his heart. He wanted to know all her secrets and wanted to understand more about this girl who he could no longer see through.

Salina lowered her head and continued to concentrate on preparing the potion. She did not notice Cedric's abnormality. She focused all her attention on the potion in front of her. The room was very quiet, with only the gurgling sound from the crucible and the faint fragrance of the herbs.

Time passed by minute by minute, and Cedric's eyes never left Salina. He looked at her focused profile, her slender fingers dancing among the herbs, and her long eyelashes casting a shadow on her face. His heartbeat began to speed up unconsciously, and a feeling he had never felt before spread in his heart...

"Alright!" Salina raised her head and breathed a sigh of relief. She picked up a bottle of light golden potion and handed it to Cedric, "Drink it."

Cedric took the potion and drank it down in one gulp without hesitation.

The potion melted in his mouth, turning into a warm current flowing through his body. Cedric felt the pain in the wound quickly subside and his body regained some strength.

"How do you feel?" Salina asked with concern.

"Much better." Cedric looked at Salina with gratitude in his eyes, "Thank you, Salina."
