Nas walked into the studio. The sunlight shone through the window onto the wooden workbench, casting a warm glow. She was extremely excited because today was her first day as a third-class apprentice. Gerling was carefully calibrating his tools. When he heard Nas's footsteps, he turned around with a kind smile on his face.

"Nas, you're here!" Gerlin said in his slightly hoarse voice, "How do you feel today?"

"I'm very excited!" Nasi's face was filled with joy. "I hope to learn more skills as a third-class apprentice."

"This is a new journey, Nas. However, please remember that this is not only about improving your skills, but also about training your mind." Gerlin frowned slightly, with a serious look in his eyes. "In this process, you will encounter many challenges. You must always remain patient and focused."

Nas nodded, silently making up her mind. She took a deep breath and walked to the workbench. The wooden table that had witnessed her practice countless times smiled at her like an old friend. She gently stroked the tools and felt the warmth they emitted.

"Today you are going to learn how to use a carving knife correctly." Gerling picked up a carving knife and showed it to Nas carefully. "First, you need to master the knife-holding posture. Your hands must be steady and your eyes must be accurate."

"I'll be careful." Nas looked at Gerling carefully, trying to absorb his every move and every word. She imagined her hands sliding across the wood, leaving delicate textures and shapes.

"Well, give it a try." Gerling handed her the carving knife with an encouraging smile on his face.

Nas held the carving knife firmly, her eyes focused on an uncarved piece of wood. She took a deep breath and began to slowly cut across the wood, her heart filled with awe and anticipation. As the blade moved, sawdust flew gently, emitting a fresh wood fragrance.

"Very good, keep this rhythm." Gellin encouraged from the side, "Your posture is correct, but pay attention to the strength, don't use too much force."

Nas adjusted her strength slightly, and as time went by, a vague outline gradually appeared on the wooden board. She felt a sense of accomplishment, but as she carved deeper, she found that the shape was not as perfect as she had imagined.

"Gerlin, I think this shape seems wrong." Nas said a little disappointedly, frowning slightly.

"It's okay. This is part of learning." Gerling patted her shoulder gently. "Every excellent craftsman grows by constantly correcting mistakes. Whether it's carving or life, making mistakes is a valuable experience."

Nas took a deep breath and raised her head with a determined look. She focused again and returned to the carving process, determined not to give up easily. With several pushes and pulls of the knife, her work gradually took shape, fully demonstrating her inner understanding of beauty.

"Yes, Nas, this is a sign of progress." Gerlin's eyes sparkled with satisfaction. "You have found your own feeling."

Her mood gradually relaxed and the smile on her face began to return.

"Thank you, Gerlin! I feel much better now." Nas smiled slightly, stroking the outline of the sculpture, and a warm feeling surged in her heart.

Just then, the door of the studio was gently pushed open, and a strange voice interrupted their conversation. "Excuse me, is this Garlin's studio?"

The two turned around and saw a plain-dressed man standing at the door. He had short blond hair, a pair of small glasses on his nose, and a shy smile on his face.

"Yes, I'm Gerling." Gerling responded with a smile, "May I help you?"

"My name is Alan, and I'm here to learn carpentry." He looked a little nervous and raised his hand to tidy up his hair. "I heard that you're an excellent teacher, so I came here to ask for your advice."

Nas looked at the new face curiously, thinking secretly in her heart, it seems that there is a new companion here.

"Welcome, Alan! We always welcome new apprentices here." Gerlin said, turning his gaze to Nas, "Nas, this is your new companion."

"Hello, Alan, I'm Nas." Nas extended her hand in a friendly manner with a sincere smile on her face, "Nice to meet you! I hope we can study together."

Alan took Nas's hand and nodded slightly, "Hello, Nas. I think it will be fun to carve with you."

"Gerlin, there was no one here when we started, but now it's getting more and more lively." Nas couldn't help but tease, her tone full of ease.

"On this road, the number of apprentices will only increase." Gerling responded with a smile, "But no matter how many people there are, the important thing is that everyone can focus on their own growth and help each other."

"I will try my best, Gerlin!" Nas said confidently. "I want to be an excellent craftsman!"

"Me too!" Alan also mustered up the courage, with a glimmer of hope in his eyes, "I hope to learn a lot of new things."

"Then let's work together!" Nas suggested excitedly, as if a fresh force was spreading in the studio.

As time went by, the studio gradually filled with the smell of sawdust, and Nas, Allen and Garlin were all absorbed in their work. Everyone was pursuing their own dreams in this warm little world.

"Look, this is my work!" Nas suddenly cheered, pointing at the shape she had carved with satisfaction.

"That's great, Nas!" Gerlin nodded with satisfaction. "You've made significant progress in a short period of time."

"I want to make something like this too!" Allen's eyes were full of desire. "Nas, how did you do it?"

"I think the key is to find your own inspiration." Nas thought for a moment, then said seriously, "I often imagine the object I want to carve, feel what it looks like, and then realize it. It's like a conversation with wood."

"Talking to wood..." Alan thought, "I see. I will try this approach."

"And most importantly, be patient and don't be afraid to make mistakes," Garlin added. "Every cut is an exploration and a growth for yourself."

"Thank you very much for your support!" Allen smiled. "With you by my side, I feel I can continue to improve."
