The most powerful wizard in the magic world
Chapter 306 Immediate Processing
"Nas, how was the feedback on today's class?" Her good friend Claire pushed the door open and interrupted her thoughts.
Nas smiled slightly and turned around: "Clary, you are here! The feedback today is good. The students are very active and seem to be very interested in what I am explaining." There was a hint of pride and satisfaction in her words.
Clea sat down and said seriously: "However, I heard that Ligula has not been very friendly to you recently, and even secretly instigated you." Her brows were slightly frowned, and worry was revealed on her face.
"Yeah, I heard that too." Nas shook her head, then turned and stared out the window, and said softly, "She may feel that my promotion threatens her position."
"You don't have to care too much about her, Nas! You are the best among all the professors in this college!" Claire stood up and held Nas's hand, trying to give her some comfort.
"But I always feel that Ligula won't give up so easily." Nas's voice was a little tired, "and she has many supporters among the professors. I don't want to cause a bigger dispute."
"We can work together to find evidence against her and let other professors see her inappropriate behavior." Claire's eyes flashed with determination.
Just as the two were chatting, a hurried knock on the door interrupted the silence. Mel, the secretary of the Academic Affairs Office, walked in with an anxious look on her face, "Professor Nas, there is an urgent task that needs your immediate attention!"
Nas raised her eyebrows, a little surprised: "What's the hurry?"
"Professor Ligula has questioned some of your remarks in class and asked the Academic Affairs Office to investigate the matter." Mel's voice was low and seemed to be filled with a sense of oppression.
"Investigation?" Nas's scalp tightened. "What on earth is she talking about?"
Claire was furious: "She's just trying to put pressure on you, to make you back off!"
Mel motioned for the two to calm down, "I suggest you go to the Academic Affairs Office, try to stay calm, and listen to their advice."
Nas stood up, hesitant in her heart, but finally nodded, "Okay, I'll go right away."

The corridor of the Academic Affairs Office was particularly dark, and the air was filled with a tense atmosphere. Nas took a deep breath, and her palms were slightly sweaty. She pushed open the door and saw several professors sitting at the long table in the office, including Ligula, who sat in the middle with a confident look on her face.
"Nasi, welcome." Ligula raised a meaningful smile, "I hope you can explain what you said in class."
Nas's face darkened slightly, and she felt unhappy. She tried to keep her voice steady: "I didn't say anything inappropriate, Ligula, you are deliberately provoking me."
"Provocation?" Ligula chuckled. "I was just quoting what you said in class. Every professor has the right to question the quality of others' teaching. Don't you agree?"
An older professor nearby interrupted, "Nas, what Ligula said makes sense. You need to take this questioning seriously."
Nas was furious but she remained rational and tried to control her emotions: "Professors, my teaching style has always been to stimulate students' thinking rather than simply imparting knowledge. My goal is to let students learn to think independently rather than let them blindly follow a certain point of view."
Ligula exuded a strong hostility that seemed to be gaining momentum. "Independent thinking? Not every student can do it easily, Nasi. What they need is clear guidance, not vague theories."
There was a hint of hesitation in the eyes of the professors present. It seemed that this debate had become a complicated situation and no one was willing to make a conclusion easily.
"I will try my best to do better. Thank you for your feedback." After Nas said these words, she felt a sense of powerlessness in her chest. She knew that Ligula's suspicion was not only a questioning of her teaching methods, but also a contempt for her identity and status.
As soon as I walked out of the Academic Affairs Office, Claire was already waiting outside. "Are you okay?" She hurried forward and asked with concern.
"It's okay." Nas shook her head. Even so, the pressure in her heart was like a huge rock that she couldn't get rid of. "Ligula just wants me to lose confidence. She wants her voice to be louder."
"But you can't give up just like that, Nas!" Klia said with a firm look, "We need to collect evidence to reveal Ligula's true intentions. You are not a lone ranger, this time we stand up together!"
Nas was touched by her courage, and the haze in her heart seemed to dissipate a little. She nodded, her eyes brightened again, "I always thought that I could solve everything by myself, but now I understand that I need the power of unity."
The two decided to conduct more investigations and discussions in the college library at night. Between the dark bookshelves, the densely packed books seemed to be witnesses of history, recording these struggles between power and darkness.
"Clary, do you know how controversial Ligura's previous research was?" Nas opened a book about the history of the academy. The text in front of her seemed to reflect the stories behind past decisions and characters.
"I've only heard something about it, but I'm not sure about the details." Claire found a document related to Ligula and flipped through it, trying to find clues.
Nas's fingers gently slid across the pages of the book and suddenly stopped. "It is mentioned here that Ligula was warned for inappropriate behavior in extracurricular activities last semester." There was a hint of shock in her voice.
"Really?" Claire came over and saw the record. "If we can sort out this information, we may be able to counter her threats."
"Okay, let's start the investigation tonight." There was fighting spirit in Nas's eyes. She knew that this struggle was far from over and she would no longer fight alone.
That night, under the dim light, Nas and Klia were analyzing the documents intently, as if the whole world had turned into a peaceful place. The scent of ink emanating from the books was like a mark of time, witnessing countless conflicts and reconciliations. They silently vowed to defend their beliefs and future at all costs.
