HP Hogwarts Chinese exchange students

Chapter 79 I Will Definitely Meet Her Again

Later on, Cedric often went to the lake, but he never met the girl again.

Later he returned to school and found some books about Eastern magic in the school library, but there was still very little useful information. It only said that they never used wands to cast spells, and almost every real Eastern wizard was very powerful and mysterious.

Finally he gave up. She would be coming to Hogwarts next year anyway, so he decided to ask her about Eastern magic after he got to know her.

When Cedric returned home during the summer vacation, he still went to the lake often. Sometimes he would feel as if there were magical fluctuations on the lake. At first he thought that the girl might be coming out, but after waiting for a long time and many times, no one ever came out.

When he saw the girl again, it was at the opening banquet. There were two other boys with him. Dumbledore introduced them to the whole school, and immediately the whole school cheered for them, the same cheer they gave when Harry Potter's name was announced.

Cedric also knew her name, Zhangsun Wuyou. He had looked up information and knew that Oriental people liked to put the last name first.

His eyes followed her all the time, but she never looked at Hufflepuff once, but looked at Slytherin several times. Maybe the group of children standing with her just now were her friends, because most of them seemed to be in Slytherin.

Everyone was eager to know which house they would go to, including Cedric, but he had a feeling that she would most likely go to Slytherin to find her friends.

Sure enough, after she chatted with the Sorting Hat for a while, the Sorting Hat shouted, "Slytherin!"

When the programmed applause came from Slytherin, people from other houses turned their heads away in disappointment, but Cedric was still looking at her. She ran towards the Slytherin table happily. The blond-haired boy had reserved a seat for her from the beginning, as if he was very sure that she would go to Slytherin.

He was still looking at the girl and laughing. Lester called him twice before he reacted and asked, "What's wrong?"

Lester looked at him strangely. "Although I also hope that an exchange student will come to our college, your expression is too regretful, Seder. Besides... you seem to like that girl more?"

Cedric laughed, "Maybe it's because she lives near us. I saw her a year ago."

Lester was surprised and asked, "Ah? Didn't she come from China?"

Cedric nodded and said, "That's true, but she moved here a year ago with her brother, Mr. Chris, a new business rookie in the British wizarding world in recent years.

Lester suddenly realized: "So that oriental business tycoon is his brother! He is so amazing. I heard from my father that the Ministry of Magic has business dealings with him! And he seems to have a good relationship with those pure-blood families."

Cedric nodded: "I heard that too."

Lester looked at the girl and said, "It seems that it is very reasonable for her to enter Slytherin. After all, the people she came into contact with after coming to the UK should all be children from pure-blood families. Maybe she is also a person with a good business mind."

Cedric had also thought about getting to know her sometime, but the girl was always among the children of those pure-blood families, and he didn't want to disturb them abruptly, so he often took a detour to walk along the roads that the girl often walked.

Unfortunately, he never encountered one, even when he often went to the Slytherin side when the prefects were on patrol.

Once she suddenly showed up at the second-year Quidditch tryouts. It seemed that the reason was because Angus, a Slytherin, had left his things in the common room, so she brought them to him.

It seems that she is really good at socializing. Just a few days after school started, she has made friends with people who are one grade older than her.

When he tried hard to find the girl, her cat came to him. That day, he met a cat that fell into the water at the Black Lake. Without thinking, he went over and fished it out.

He used a spell to dry its fur. The more he looked at it, the more he felt that he had seen this cat somewhere before. It was not until he looked into its clear blue eyes after drying it that he suddenly remembered that it was the girl's cat.

But it seemed to be missing a big bow. The girl loved to put a big bow behind her cat's neck.

This kind of cat is obviously also very vain. Every time it appears, it walks proudly and elegantly with its head raised. He looked around and saw the floating purple bow by the black lake.

He walked over, picked up the bow, dried it, and cleaned it before putting it on the cat. It was from that time that her cat seemed to become close to him.

He just happened to be good at taking care of cats because his mother had one at home, and it was because of this cat that he met its owner again.

The weather was very good that day. He was feeding the cat by the Black Lake. The cat suddenly stopped eating, looked behind him and meowed happily twice.

He was stunned for a moment, thinking that perhaps the girl had come. When he turned around, he saw the girl standing under the tree with her hands folded on her chest. She looked at him with strange eyes, and he couldn't describe what that feeling was.

Cedric didn't understand why and greeted her cautiously. Then she seemed to come to her senses suddenly, with a smile in her eyes and no longer having that strange feeling.

"Nice to meet you, Senior Diggory. You can call me Mavis."

That day he truly let her know him.
