Hogwarts: I am the White Lord
Chapter 477 Professor McGonagall's Headache
While greeting the little wizards, Sebastian walked slowly down the stairs to Professor McGonagall's office.
Just now, a silver cat-shaped patronus brought a message from Professor McGonagall, saying that there was a need to discuss issues concerning Harry's education, which surprised him.
Harry's education?
What is there to talk about?
Harry is upright, tough, sensible, and his strength is steadily improving. He is many times better than the emotional, impulsive and irritable problem boy in the original work.
Anyway, Sebastian is very satisfied with Harry now.
However, Professor McGonagall's call certainly could not be ignored, so he still had to go and listen to what Professor McGonagall wanted to talk about.
When Sebastian was about to reach the office, he saw a familiar figure walking towards him from the other side of the corridor. It was Mia, who walked briskly with a hint of doubt on her face.
"Sebastian, have you been called by Professor McGonagall as well?" she asked, with a hint of surprise in her tone.
"It seems to be true." Sebastian smiled helplessly, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone, "Why is our situation a bit like a naughty student whose parents were called to the police station?"
Mia couldn't help laughing when she heard that and rolled her eyes at him: "Stop talking nonsense and let's go, or Professor McGonagall will be waiting anxiously."
The two smiled at each other and walked straight to the door of Professor McGonagall's office. Sebastian raised his hand and knocked a few times, then gently pushed open the door in front of him.
As soon as the door opened, Umbridge's shrill voice came from inside.
"Professor McGonagall, I want to know what's going on with the management of Gryffindor House? Students actually threatened the professor openly in class!"
As if she had found her biggest backer, Umbridge became tough again. She pointed at Harry, her tone full of anger and dissatisfaction.
"Professor McGonagall, I must ask clearly whether this behavior is right or wrong in Hogwarts! If students can openly challenge the professor's authority like this, how can I teach?"
"Does Hogwarts still have the Ministry of Magic in its eyes? Are you not going to obey the education order issued by the Ministry of Magic? If you admit that you will not obey the Ministry of Magic, I will immediately resign from my professorship and return to the Ministry of Magic to hold a press conference to make the absurd situation here public, so that everyone..."
Before she finished her words, Umbridge saw Mr. and Mrs. Swann pushing the door open. Her roar stopped abruptly, and she silently hid behind Professor McGonagall.
Sebastian raised his eyebrows and smiled playfully. He had roughly guessed why Professor McGonagall had called him and Mia.
He first nodded to Professor McGonagall, then turned to Umbridge and said sarcastically.
"Oh, Professor Umbridge, you have a loud voice. Your voice echoes all over the corridor, which is really impressive. However, as an official of the Ministry of Magic, shouting like this is a bit unbecoming."
Umbridge's face twitched slightly when she heard this.
You are kidding me. I just saw McGonagall use the soundproofing charm with my own eyes. Not to mention the corridor, you can't hear it even if you lie on the door.
However, she did not argue much, but turned her eyes to Professor McGonagall, as if expecting the latter to say something fair on her behalf.
Professor McGonagall pursed her lips and looked at Sebastian seriously. Although she didn't like Umbridge, she didn't want to escalate the conflict.
Once the news of Harry initiating a pure-blood duel gets out, Hogwarts will be in the spotlight, and who knows how many troubles will come their way.
"Sebastian, Professor Umbridge said that Harry openly threatened her with a pure-blood duel in class."
"Really?" Sebastian smiled and winked at Harry. "Does it work? I mean, how effective is it?"
"Great!" Harry grinned, smiling particularly brightly, "But I didn't expect this new professor to be such a coward that he doesn't even dare to fight with me."
He looked at Umbridge with ill intent, revealing his white teeth. "I didn't say anything like a fight to the death or the end of the bloodline. I just wanted her to apologize to me after she lost."
"Haha, not bad!" Sebastian just praised, and saw the anger in Professor McGonagall's eyes, so he quickly changed his words, "No, I mean this is wrong, very, very wrong. You are a student, you must learn to respect the professor."
Harry grinned when he heard this. To be honest, he had never expected that when Umbridge said she would report to her superiors, she would not go to find Fudge but turn around and find Professor McGonagall.
I have to say that Umbridge found the right person this time. You know, Professor McGonagall attaches great importance to discipline and the little wizards are all afraid of her.
Look, even Sebastian didn't dare to say anything to Professor McGonagall.
"Sebastian," Professor McGonagall said seriously, "I need you to explain to Harry that pure-blood dueling is a very serious matter and cannot be used on anyone casually."
"Harry," Mia said at the right time, imitating Professor McGonagall's serious expression, "Do you know what you did wrong?"
"I see," Harry replied tactfully, "I shouldn't threaten professors casually..."
"Wrong!" Mia's voice suddenly rose, like an angry lion, "You should have smashed the glove directly on her face."
She turned her head and pierced Umbridge behind Professor McGonagall with a stern look: "This way, she won't be able to stand here and act arrogant."
"Mia!" Professor McGonagall glared at Mia who was making a fuss.
My goodness, why do you have such a bad temper? If Umbridge faints from fright, we will have to beg her not to die, and then go to great lengths to rescue her. It’s not worth it, really not worth it.
She adjusted her glasses and said to the trembling Umbridge, "You go back first, Professor Umbridge. I will criticize them."
Hearing this, Umbridge nodded repeatedly and hurried out of the Transfiguration Office.
"This is not fun at all," Professor McGonagall said with a terrible headache, "Hogwarts cannot openly fall out with the Ministry of Magic. You three should be careful of the impact."
"Professor McGonagall," Sebastian smiled, "You should take a look at Umbridge's teaching materials. They are pure rubbish. She is a nuisance to students."
"How about this? Let's find an opportunity to tell Umbridge that Dumbledore's Order of the Phoenix is secretly headquartered in the Forbidden Forest, and then lead her to the lair of the Acromanthus spider, and let the Acromanthus spider entertain this distinguished guest."
"For Merlin's sake, Sebastian," Professor McGonagall said weakly, "you can't instigate Harry to frame a professor."
"It's just a joke to liven up the atmosphere. Don't be nervous, Professor McGonagall."
Sebastian smiled and said, "The Acromantula is an important asset of Hogwarts. I am not going to give the Ministry of Magic any leverage to extend their hands into the Forbidden Forest."
"However, this is destined to be a ridiculous semester, and Umbridge does need to suffer a little as the price for harming the students."
"Let's just get the right attitude and have some fun."
