Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 478 Senior Investigator

"Minister, please make the decision for me!"

As soon as she returned to the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, Umbridge called Fudge's magic cell phone and started crying and complaining about the unfair treatment she had received since coming to Hogwarts.

"I've never seen anyone as stupid as you!" Fudge interrupted Umbridge angrily, "You are a professor. You have countless reasons to target Harry Potter, but you chose the stupidest one."

"Why do you call him a liar? He spent half of the summer vacation at Swann Manor. It would be easy for him to grow up to be a troublemaker under the influence of his surroundings."

"You don't have to argue with him about anything. Just say he disrupts class discipline and disrespects the professor, then put him in detention. That way, no one can find fault."

"Isn't he a member of the school Quidditch team? You keep giving him detention so that he can't participate in the game. If he loses the game, the students' spit will drown him."

"I understand Minister," Umbridge nodded repeatedly, "but what if Harry Potter learns his lesson and stops disrupting classes?"

"More importantly, apart from Harry Potter, I found that most people in Hogwarts have no respect for the Ministry of Magic. As a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, I am really powerless."

As soon as she finished speaking, she heard heavy breathing coming from the phone. After about ten seconds, Fudge's cold voice continued to sound.

"The professor's position is too low to allow you to exert your power. Please be patient for a week. During this week, I will issue a new educational order and appoint you as the Senior Inquisitor of Hogwarts."

"After becoming a senior investigator, you will have the right to review all professors to ensure that they meet the standards of the Ministry of Magic. Those who do not meet the standards will be directly dismissed."

"Do you understand?" Fudge emphasized, "All professors!"

Umbridge understood that Fudge was dissatisfied with Sebastian's performance today and wanted her to take the opportunity to make trouble.

Of course, Fudge certainly didn't intend for him to fire Sebastian, but he definitely intended for him to embarrass Sebastian.

However, Fudge overestimated himself. Even if he became a senior investigator, he did not have the courage to investigate Sebastian and his wife.

Unlike other professors, these two have other jobs besides being professors.

Madam Swann was a healer at St. Mungo's. After resigning, she went straight back to St. Mungo's, and it had no impact at all.

As for Sebastian, he has such a big company and doesn't care about a small professorship at all. If we make him angry, he will have time to deal with us.

Umbridge complained a few words in her heart, but she didn't say anything. She just listened quietly to Fudge's instructions.

"Dolores, you need to set up two role models among the professors to serve as an example. It would be best if you pick Dumbledore's diehard fans to let them see the majesty of the Ministry of Magic."

"As for the students, don't let your guard down. You have to teach them to respect the Ministry of Magic. So, I will give the Senior Investigator another power. You can flexibly add new educational orders according to the situation."

"Even if Harry Potter could stop disrupting classes, I don't believe he would avoid a single educational order."

"Also, the power of one person is still too weak," Fudge's tone became meaningful, "There must be students in Hogwarts who don't like Dumbledore and Harry Potter. You can carefully select some people who are loyal to the Ministry of Magic to form your team."

"Let them help you keep an eye on any movement on campus. I don't need to teach you the specific details, right?"

"Minister, you have the solution," Umbridge was extremely excited, flattering Fudge on the other end of the phone, "Just two simple words on demand have cleared the clouds for me. The wizarding world is truly blessed by Merlin to have a leader like you."

As soon as the call ended, a suitable student figure appeared in Umbridge's mind - Draco Malfoy.

This young man is in the same grade as the Savior, and they have most of the same classes. He can help him keep an eye on the Savior's every move.

More importantly, because the Savior slandered his father, the two had a big quarrel and broke up completely, and judging from the Savior's attitude, there was obviously no possibility of reconciliation between the two.

However, Umbridge was not in a hurry to call Malfoy to her office. She planned to take advantage of this week to observe carefully to see if there was really no possibility of reconciliation between Malfoy and the Savior, and by the way, select some other suitable candidates.

While Umbridge was talking to Fudge, Harry Potter's name became popular all over the campus again.

The young wizards had never heard of any student daring to openly contradict the professor in class, and then after being criticized, using the excuse of a pure-blood duel to scare the professor into running around the classroom.

The whole school was in an uproar over this incident.

There were excited little wizards everywhere, recounting the thrilling scenes in the classroom incessantly, as if each of them had witnessed the whole process with their own eyes.

And these stories are exaggerated every time they are told.

In the end, the scene turned out like this: Harry snorted coldly with an expressionless face, and Umbridge knelt down crying and begging for mercy, asking Harry to spare her life.

At the same time, the name of the Defense Against the Dark Arts Club reached the ears of all the young wizards.

Initially, many students were dismissive of the club, especially those who were prejudiced against Harry's reputation and did not want to be associated with this troubled star, even though he was very good at Defense Against the Dark Arts.

But all this changed after they took Umbridge's class.

The boring theoretical teaching made these people realize how stupid their previous ideas were.

So, while cursing their own short-sightedness, they went around the campus asking how to join the Defense Against the Dark Arts Club.

On Friday night, the dueling hall was full of little wizards. Seeing this, Hermione was not panicked at all. She quickly divided the students into several groups according to their grades, arranged teachers selected from each grade to teach, and carried out guidance step by step according to the lesson plan.

Instead of interfering with such scenes, the professors enjoyed them.

They shuttled between various groups, patiently correcting students' shortcomings and providing professional advice to those young wizards who were eager to improve.

The Slytherin students were quite interesting. They had been completely divided into two factions. The faction represented by Daphne joined the Defense Against the Dark Arts Club with most of its members.

Malfoy, with a small group of members, practiced alone in a corner of the dueling hall.

Sebastian did not step forward to interfere, or rather, after the start of the school year, he did not interfere much with the atmosphere in Slytherin House. He wanted to see what the students would do themselves.

Suddenly, the magic phone rang, and Sebastian came to the outside of the duel hall and answered the call.

"Hey, Sebastian, what you predicted really happened. Do you want to come over?"
