HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 8 Draco's Apology

When Olga returned to the lounge, she saw a room full of people and was in a dilemma.

Then one by one, they introduced themselves. Olga looked at them with a stern face. Everyone stepped forward in tacit agreement and said their names and families. Then they made way for the people behind them, saying that it would be impossible without careful planning.

Theodore didn't go forward, but just quietly observed his kitten in the corner, intending to take her away when the kitten got angry.

"Your Highness Olga, please allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Draco Malfoy, and my father is the director of Hogwarts. If there is anything in the school that makes you unhappy, you can tell me and my father can solve it. Most of the students in Slytherin are from pure-blood families, and only a few are half-bloods. As for the dirty mud... Muggles, they will never appear here. I believe this coincides with the philosophy of the blood clan. I hope that in the days to come, we can all become your most loyal partners."

The story ends with Draco’s dignified self-narration.

He walked slowly to Olga, saluted gracefully, and extended his right hand to Olga.

Olga narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at the little platinum head in front of her, and thought of his behavior in the flying class. He had stepped on her minefield accurately twice today.

"Partners? You guys?" She approached Draco and raised the corners of her mouth maliciously, "Too weak. The vampires don't need people who only know some fancy tricks, partner."

Draco couldn't believe his ears. He had imagined countless possibilities, but he never expected Olga to mock him.

The boy's skin was already pale, and now it was even paler than before, his gray-blue eyes were filled with disbelief and hurt.

Olga would never admit that she felt a little soft-hearted when she looked at those eyes. It must be said that this platinum-haired man did have a good-looking face.

She turned her eyes and glanced at the little snakes who didn't dare to speak, and said with her red lips: "I'm sorry, everyone, I won't buy it."

After saying that, he walked towards the dormitory without any reluctance, and even ignored Theodore in the corner.

This is, I am being taken out on him, Theodore thought.

When the time for her appointment with Snape was almost approaching, Olga walked towards his office with a depressed look on her face.

Suddenly, two tall figures surrounded her on the left and right. This pair of twins... was really oppressive.

"Look who this is?"

"What a heartless little girl." George pinched Olga's face, "She never came to see us once."

Olga stared at George with wide eyes: "George! How dare you--"

George felt his breathing stop for a moment. This was what it felt like to be accurately recognized.

The moment Olga opened her mouth, Fred reached out and touched her soft black hair. Wow, her hair was so fine, like silk.

Olga looked to the other side in disbelief: "Fred——"

The Weasley brothers were amused by Olga's reaction.

"There's nothing we wouldn't do at Hogwarts," said Fred proudly.

"It's so sad. He keeps saying that he doesn't need our blood, but then he turns around and looks for that Nott. So he's more attractive, right?" George held his chest, pretending to be sad.

Olga couldn't understand why she couldn't get over it. "I didn't! He just cut his hand, and I—"

"Like this?" Fred decisively cut his wrist and put it to Olga's mouth.

Olga looked at her bleeding hand speechlessly: "Your intentions are a little too obvious, sir."

George pulled his jumpy brother over and said, "Don't worry about him." He then looked at Olga, "Where are you going so late? Little Snake Princess is also going to go out at night and violate school rules?"

"Oh, I would like to go on a night tour, but I'm afraid Professor Snape won't give me this opportunity."

Olga was filled with resentment when she mentioned painful things.

"That old bat actually dared to give you confinement?"

"What did you do?" they both asked at the same time.

Olga sighed, "It's a long story... Anyway, I have to deal with the damn slugs now. Why do potions use such disgusting herbs?"

The twins looked at each other. It seemed that our dear little snake princess hated ugly things.

"I really want to help you, but—"

"The old bat will be even angrier when he sees us!"

"I can only wish you good luck."

Fred and George walked Olga to the cellar door, patted Olga on the head for the last time, and ran away with a smile after receiving death looks.

"Hey, Fred, don't waste your blood, collect it--"

"Make snacks for the little snakes!" Fred took over George's words tacitly, and the two found an empty classroom to continue their great experiment.

After Olga prepared herself mentally and entered Snape's office, she only saw the familiar platinum little head.

When Draco turned around and saw her, he stood up excitedly, then sat back in his seat in frustration. He almost forgot that he was hated.

"Why are you here?" Olga asked.

"My Godfather asked me to make potions for next class." Draco said awkwardly.

"Your godfather? Professor Snape?"

"Yes...it really wasn't my own decision to come here! I didn't know you were here today!" Draco was about to cry.

"You, don't cry." Olga was also a little panicked. She hoped that the child would not blackmail her.

"I'm already eleven years old, how could I still cry!" Platinum-headed man said angrily, and then asked cautiously, "Are you... still angry?"

Olga felt like she had been coaxing the child all day, but seeing the young master's pitiful face, she couldn't bear it: "I'm not angry with you. Didn't Theodore tell you? I hate being watched like an animal."

"How could that be? That was a welcome party specially organized for you! Blaise said that girls like this kind of special surprise."

Olga was a little helpless: "Who would like this... Standing there for no reason and listening to everyone introduce themselves, is it a surprise or a shock?"

Draco then realized what a stupid thing he had done. He even forgot to prepare an invitation in advance!

"…I'm sorry, it's all my fault. Malfoy should have thought more carefully."

Draco was a little depressed because his father would definitely blame him for not being a gentleman.

"It's all that damn Potter's fault, otherwise we would have had a bad first day at school -"

"Wait." Olga was just a little surprised by the young master's apology, and seeing that the boy was about to fall into his own emotional circle again, she quickly interrupted, "Where is Professor Snape?"

"Oh, Godfather has something to do, so let me watch you deal with the remaining slugs."

Draco saw Olga frowning and blurted out, "I'll do it! I used to help the Godfather organize the herbs. You just sit here and rest."

He pointed to the seat next to him. For some reason, he didn't want to see Olga look unhappy.

Olga was even more surprised: "Really? Aren't you afraid that your godfather will blame you?"

"There are only two of us here. As long as you don't say anything, no one will know."

Draco had already expertly picked up the slugs from the bucket and cut them into slices, keeping his expression unchanged throughout the process.

Olga walked over to sit beside him, staring at his movements. As expected, good-looking people are always elegant and calm even when dealing with slugs. Malfoy's aristocratic etiquette is obviously very good, and the whole scene is pleasing to the eye.

She didn't expect that this young master was actually willing to do such dirty work. He was more gentlemanly than she had imagined.

Olga was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice that Draco's ears were slowly turning red.

After an unknown amount of time, Draco finally cut and packed the last slug, breathed a sigh of relief, and turned to Olga while moving his wrists and said, "Okay, we can..."

Only then did he realize that the girl had fallen asleep, and her usually expressionless face now looked extremely relaxed.

Her usually calm black pupils were completely covered by her long eyelashes, and her cheeks, which were supported on her arms, even had some baby fat squeezed out of them. No one who saw her like this would believe that she was the future king of the vampire clan.

Olga actually has a very gentle appearance, and her bones are not very strong, but her aura is so strong that people often ignore the fact that she is only an eleven-year-old child.

A few strands of hair fell on the tip of her upturned nose. Draco couldn't help but raise his hand to brush those disobedient strands of hair aside, revealing the girl's plump lips.

His eyes narrowed slightly, he licked his lips unconsciously, and leaned closer to the sleeping girl involuntarily.

Draco felt his heart was about to jump out, and when the two were less than five inches apart, Olga suddenly opened her eyes.

The girl who just woke up had a confused look in her dark eyes. She looked at the panicked young master in front of her and said, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

After saying that, he stood up and wiped his face casually. Draco only felt a soft touch rubbing against his cheek, and his heart stopped for a moment.

He thought he must be dreaming, or Olga would surely kill him.

Olga glanced at the stiff Draco in surprise, then saw the perfectly processed slug and patted Draco on the shoulder in appreciation: "Good knife skills, young master."

Draco suddenly woke up from his dream, and a hint of pink appeared on his pale face.

Olga looked at Draco with great interest. Is the young master so easily shy? But he looks good when he is shy.

"Then can we go now?" Olga was in a good mood. The confinement experience tonight was quite good. She didn't have to do anything, enjoyed the "beautiful scenery", and had a good sleep.

I have to say, Draco is quite useful. The smell of blood can actually help me sleep.

"Yeah." Young Master Platinum is very obedient now, and whatever Olga says is right.

Olga was just about to walk out of the cellar when she suddenly remembered that it seemed to be past curfew. Did Slytherin have a rule that rules could not be broken?

She didn't care, but this young master seemed to be very concerned about his reputation, so... just consider it as a thank-you gift tonight.

She stopped, and Draco, who was following her obediently, also stopped.

"Young Master, do you want to experience the 'magic' of the vampires?"

Draco looked at Olga and gave her a slightly sly smile. The redness on his face that had finally faded away reappeared. "Wh, what magic?"

Wow, she looks so beautiful when she smiles. I dare not look at her. I dare not look at her at all.

Olga took Draco's hand, and the latter's heart was beating so fast that he felt like he was going to faint like that idiot Longbottom.

A black mist surged up, and Draco felt his eyes go dark. The next second, the Slytherin common room appeared in front of him. He opened his eyes wide, and his gray-blue eyes were full of disbelief.

"Is this the vampire's 'Apparition'?! But isn't this kind of magic forbidden in Hogwarts? And I don't even feel dizzy!"

The boy had long forgotten his previous shyness, how cool is that!

"Apparition? This is just ordinary teleportation."

"That's awesome! Can you teach me?" Draco was very excited.

"Well, I guess not. This is the ability of the vampires, and it's considered a talent. If you want to learn it... go back and ask your father if he agrees with you being transformed into a vampire."

Draco once again experienced the feeling from great joy to great sorrow. How could his father allow him to become a...wait.

"What? Can humans become vampires? Like vampires?"

Olga looked disgusted when she heard about vampires: "Vampires are the product of failure. You can understand it as two fools who were blinded by love and insisted on having offspring even though they knew they were not capable enough."

"I... don't understand."

Draco confessed that he found himself willing to admit his ignorance in front of Olga, because compared to her, all of them were big fools, and he was not the only one.

"I don't quite understand your pure-blood philosophy, but there is a huge difference between pure-blood and mixed-blood vampires. Let's put it this way, there are two ways for a vampire to be born. One is like you humans, where a man and a woman come together to give birth to offspring; the other is the first embrace."

"The former is easy to understand. If both the man and woman are vampires, if the woman is pureblood, then the offspring must be pureblood. If the woman is mixedblood, then the offspring must be mixedblood."

"Those who advocate that both sides must be purebloods probably do so for the sake of bloodline, because the purer the bloodline, the stronger the power. So no matter how turbulent the bloodline is, it will not affect me and my brothers and sisters. No one can be stronger than us. Oh, except for my father and mother."

"In that case, the power of the previous generation of the blood clan must be greater than that of the next generation, because the purity of the bloodline is always decreasing."

"Well... mostly like that, but not necessarily. For example, my eldest sister and eldest brother's children are not weaker than them."

"What?! You, your sister and your brother? Kissing?" Draco exclaimed in surprise.

"Of course, don't make a fuss, this is common among vampires. But you humans shouldn't be able to do this, there is a high probability that something will go wrong, so don't learn it."

"Who would learn it? I don't have any brothers or sisters! No, even if I did, I wouldn't learn it! So how many brothers and sisters do you have?"

"Big brother, second brother, third brother, and big sister and second sister."

Draco felt something was wrong and asked tentatively, "Don't you have any brothers or sisters?"

"No, I'm the youngest. If I hadn't been asleep for so long, I would be thousands of years old now."

"Sleeping? What happened?"

"It's a little complicated. All you need to know is that my father and mother are missing. I came to the wizarding world to find someone to help me study magic circles. If your father has a suitable candidate, you can introduce him to me."

Olga never wanted to hide her purpose. She believed that the more people knew, the greater the possibility.

"Oh... I'll tell him! Then... your second brother and your second sister too...?"

"Not together." Draco was about to breathe a sigh of relief when he heard Olga's voice again, "But I think it will be soon."

He held his breath in his chest and yelled uncomfortably: "Then shouldn't your third brother be with you!"

Olga looked at Draco in confusion: "I'm only eleven years old, and Odysseus is thousands of years old, but he's not that perverted."

"And who can say for sure what will happen in the future?"

Olga shrugged indifferently. A wise man does not fall in love. All she wanted now was to see her father and mother as soon as possible.
