HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts
Chapter 9: Halloween Eve and the Giant Monster
Odysseus... He remembered it! Anyway, Olga is now in Hogwarts, so he still has plenty of opportunities.
Uh, he meant the opportunity to get along well. Thinking of this, Draco perked up again: "The first embrace you just mentioned-"
Olga thought of something, and her expression became a little serious: "A human who is embraced by a pure-blood will become a hybrid, but a human who is embraced by a hybrid... will become a low-level monster, which is what you call a vampire."
"Because vampires have many weaknesses, their desire for blood is even stronger, and their self-control is weak, so the blood clan prohibits mixed-bloods from transforming into humans on their own initiative, and also prohibits intermarriage with humans, because once they produce offspring, they will inevitably be failures. This is also one of the reasons why the blood clan has always avoided the world."
"Human nature is too complicated. The vampires are not fools. They know the consequences but still insist on their own opinions. I can only say that they are all idiots."
"Then if a half-blood falls in love with a human, can't the pure-blood just turn that person into a half-blood? Why do they have to have children with humans and embrace someone for the first time themselves?" Draco was puzzled.
"Because they don't dare. Naive little master, your father protects you very well and hopes that you can always be carefree."
She turned her back.
"How can there be light everywhere in the kingdom of darkness? Go to bed early, Draco."
Olga walked to the stairs and glanced at the dark corner, but did not speak out.
Theodore waited until Olga's figure disappeared at the end of the stairs before he slowly walked out of the shadows.
What is the world of a kitten like? He is very curious, are he and she the same?
—
When Snape returned and saw the beautifully prepared slugs, he knew they were made by his "enthusiastic" godson.
But he did not blame him. Whenever he wanted to give Draco some special lessons, he would always call Olga along, calling her a "study partner".
Olga still goes her own way and never touches disgusting herbs. The enthusiastic Draco works hard and their relationship develops by leaps and bounds during the "cellar lesson".
Snape pretended not to see the little movements of the two. Anyway, his purpose was only to observe the vampire, and he had to ensure that Harry was safe.
And when Draco learned that Harry and Zero had both made exceptions and become Gryffindor Quidditch players, he couldn't believe his ears.
You have to know that Quidditch selection is only open to second-year students, and those two stupid lions are only first-year students.
"I must tell my dad, this is ridiculous!" When Draco complained to Olga for the nth time, Olga finally ran out of patience.
"Draco!"
"I'm here." Draco replied subconsciously.
"…Maybe you want to try flying without a broom?" Olga felt like she was hitting cotton and could only change the subject helplessly, "It's a thank you for helping me deal with those disgusting things all this time."
Draco quickly put Quidditch behind him and couldn't wait for Olga to take him to experience "flying without a broom".
"Don't worry, wait until after curfew. There are too many people here now. Do you want to be treated like a monkey?"
Draco wanted to say that he enjoyed the attention, but he didn't dare.
The impending first experience in his life made him seem to have forgotten some promise.
—
Harry, Ron, Hermione and Zero sneaked out of the dormitory after curfew. They had agreed to duel with Malfoy tonight.
But after arriving at the trophy display room and waiting for a long time, Malfoy and Crabbe did not appear, but Filch who was patrolling appeared instead.
In panic, the four ran into the restricted room on the fourth floor and found a ferocious three-headed dog in the room, which looked like it was guarding something.
—
While the four-member team was conducting a thrilling adventure, Draco, who was supposed to keep the appointment, was standing excitedly at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, watching Olga slowly spread her wings. The black wings looked even more mysterious in the night.
Draco held his breath as he looked at the girl in the moonlight. He thought that the moonlight goddess was probably not as beautiful as the girl at this moment.
Olga reached out her hand to the stunned Draco: "Hold on to me."
As the boy's hand clasped it, he felt his body suddenly become lighter, and he looked at Olga nervously.
The girl raised her lips slightly: "Don't be afraid, timid young master, I won't let you fall."
As soon as the words fell, the wings began to flap gently, and before Draco could refute, he found that his feet were gradually leaving the ground. As the frequency of the wings flapped faster, their rising speed also began to increase.
Draco stared at the shrinking Forbidden Forest below him, excitement slowly taking over.
Olga took him flying around the castle, and Draco looked at the towers that usually towered into the clouds, but now they were within reach.
They passed by the Quidditch pitch he had been longing for, the gloomy Black Lake, Hagrid's vegetable garden, and finally stopped above the Whomping Willow.
"Are you satisfied, young master?"
Draco nodded frantically to express his excitement.
"Then stop talking about Quidditch. It's only a matter of time before you get on the Slytherin team."
Draco blushed slightly: "Are you so confident in me?"
"No, I have confidence in myself. I've taken you flying, and if you can't even ride a broken broom, don't even say you know me in the future."
Draco's face darkened again: "I know. I can't embarrass you, little prince."
—
It wasn't until the next day that Draco remembered that he had stood up the Savior last night.
But he didn't care anymore. Olga had coaxed him, so he decided to just treat this time as even with the incident on the train and they should keep to themselves from now on.
—
Time soon came to Halloween Eve, and the young wizards were very enthusiastic about any festival.
After much persuasion from Draco, Olga finally agreed to attend the Halloween dinner.
When Olga appeared in the auditorium, everyone fell strangely quiet. After all, this was the first time that the vampire crown prince appeared here since the opening banquet.
Olga walked towards the Slytherin table under everyone's gaze. Is it too late for her to regret now? But the little platinum head not far away had already spotted her and waved at her excitedly.
It was not until Orga took his seat that whispers began to be heard in the auditorium, which was far less noisy than before.
In fact, after spending some time together, the students at Hogwarts were no longer so wary of Olga.
Because they found that this girl was really low-key, and apart from her classmates, basically no one could meet her in public.
As time went on, they began to feel guilty, as if the distinguished guest had been avoiding them because of their "malicious" speculations at the opening ceremony.
Is there anything they can do to remedy the situation? For example, let this beautiful lady feel safe to dine in the restaurant.
Olga listened to those "plans" that they thought were very secret and sighed helplessly. These little wizards didn't have any bad intentions.
Draco beside him was still excitedly showing off his "teleportation" and "broomless flying" experiences to the people around him. It was obviously not the first time for his followers to hear it, but the details Draco mentioned were slightly different each time, so they still listened with gusto.
Olga's brows furrowed as she listened. What did "displacement of internal organs" mean? And "fighting a flying dragon in the air"?
When Draco was about to continue making up a story about encountering magical creatures during the flight, Olga couldn't help but coughed loudly.
Unexpectedly, this voice not only made Draco shut up, but also made the other young wizards at the long table shut up.
This made Olga feel a little embarrassed. She could only pretend to be calm and said to Draco, "That's enough," and then politely said to everyone, "Don't worry about it."
At the Gryffindor table, Fred and George looked at each other. The little snake princess had a very strong aura. The two of them clinked their glasses in tacit understanding and drank the wine.
Ling was a little surprised. He didn't expect Her Highness to appear in the auditorium today, nor did he expect that she was so familiar with that arrogant man.
Harry and Ron were only interested in tonight's dishes.
Draco was quiet for a while and then started complaining to Olga again: "You were so fierce just now! I didn't dare to say anything!"
"Just tell you to shut up! What are you talking about? When did I ever take you to the Forbidden Forest?"
"That's just exaggerating the tense atmosphere! Let everyone know how thrilling the experience is!" Draco said confidently.
Olga didn't bother to pay attention to this childish guy. She stared at the goblet that suddenly appeared in front of her, then looked towards the seats in the classroom. Dumbledore, dressed in a purple robe, raised his glass to her playfully.
Draco also noticed Olga's gaze, and worried that she was a little uncomfortable, so he tried to divert her attention.
"You don't even know that Potter and Zero received 2000 Nimbus this afternoon! If first-year students were not allowed to bring their own brooms, I would have asked my dad to buy me one too!"
Olga really looked at him: "Nimbus 2000? Is it very powerful?"
"Of course! That's the latest version of the broom, it must be very good!"
The girl looked at Theodore who had remained silent on the other side and asked, "Is that so?"
The black-haired boy didn't expect the girl to suddenly ask him. He was slightly stunned and then nodded slightly.
Olga thought thoughtfully and thought, then I'll give them each a broom next year. It's just a broken broom, I really don't know what's so good about it.
Draco was dissatisfied with Olga and went to Theodore to confirm: "You don't believe me?"
"I'm just worried that you'll use exaggeration to heighten the atmosphere again, young master."
Draco finally understood what it meant to shoot himself in the foot, and temporarily shut his mouth.
Just as Olga was about to pick up her own goblet, Professor Quirrell suddenly rushed into the restaurant.
His large scarf was still securely on his head, and his face was now filled with fear.
He gasped and shouted, "The troll—in...in the dungeon!" Then he fell to the ground and fainted.
The hall immediately became noisy, and Draco screamed in fear, and Olga had to cover his mouth, it was really loud.
Professor Dumbledore shouted "Silence!" and everyone finally quieted down.
"Prefects," he ordered calmly, "take the students of your own house back to the common room immediately."
Harry and Ron then remembered that Hermione was still crying in the bathroom because Ron complained that she was like a thorn and deserved to have no friends.
As the crowd was dispersing, Olga noticed that Harry and Ron quietly left the crowd, and Zero followed behind them. She frowned.
"Aren't you going back to the lounge?" she asked Zero through the blood contract.
"Harry said Hermione was alone in the bathroom near the basement and might run into a troll."
Hermione? That clever little witch.
Just as Olga was about to follow, she found that the young master was holding her arm very nervously. She struggled to free herself, told Draco to follow the Slytherin prefect closely, and turned around to chase in the direction where the three people disappeared.
Draco just felt that Olga disappeared like a gust of wind, and he didn't even have time to ask her where she was going!
Then he found that Theodore had also left the crowd. He thought Nott must know where Olga went, so he gritted his teeth and followed her.
George from Gryffindor had been keeping an eye on Olga's situation. When the girl ran towards the corridor, he discovered her intention and took a shortcut to stop her before she reached the basement.
"Little Snake Princess, are you going to fight the giant monster alone?"
Olga was only slightly surprised when she saw George, she thought the twins always acted together.
"Why, do you want to go together?" She didn't explain much, but just walked around him.
George followed the girl and said casually, "It's a good opportunity for me to see the abilities of the vampires. According to Malfoy, teleportation and flying are simply unprecedented experiences."
These boys were so childish. Olga stopped and stared at George's eyes meaningfully. George looked away as if he had been seen through, and whistled, pretending to appreciate the scenery around him.
Olga was amused by George's reaction and grabbed his hand before he could react.
"Sir, please state your wishes directly next time."
When the cold little hands let go of him, they were already in the women's bathroom on the basement level.
On the other side, Fred, who had just caught up with his brother, watched the two disappear in front of him. Damn George! He didn't even take him with him for such a good opportunity!
While George was still immersed in the surprise of Olga teleporting him, he found himself in the women's restroom. Before he had time to feel embarrassed, he smelled a foul odor.
He slowly turned around and found a huge shadow approaching them.
Olga found Hermione crying and was hesitating whether to speak when she heard George exclaim, "Little snake! It's coming!"
Hermione turned around in surprise when she heard the boy's voice and found Olga standing behind her. She opened her mouth to say something, but saw Olga raised her index finger to her mouth to signal her to be quiet.
She covered her mouth and widened her eyes, as if she had seen something incredible.
George ran to Olga to block her and comforted her: "Don't be afraid, it's really too big and ugly."
The troll was about twelve feet tall, with an ugly little head on top of its huge and clumsy body. It held a thick wooden stick in its hand and exuded a disgusting smell.
Olga felt that her vision and sense of smell were impacted like never before. The giant monster slowly approached the three little guys in front of him, raising the wooden stick to attack.
At this time Harry and the other two also rushed in. When Zero saw the troll swinging the wooden stick towards Olga, his mind went blank. He took out his wand and chanted a spell like crazy, but the troll with thick skin and flesh was not affected by any attack at all.
