HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 180 Betty Abbott

James's voice came from a distance. Sirius woke up from his contemplation. He thought that the only thing he had in common with the Black family was the ridiculous sense of ritual. He hid his love for this sense of ritual - although it didn't seem to be very successful - this was the first time he didn't want to rashly pursue a result. As he said before, he was afraid that Xia would not accept it and that he would lose his friends. This kind of hesitation was really different from his original character, and it was completely different from Gryffindor.

When they walked to the Great Hall, they almost missed breakfast. Seeing the little food left on the Gryffindor table, they hardened their hearts and left directly. When passing by the tables of other colleges, James said, "It doesn't matter. We'll have food when we get home."

Several Gryffindors boarded the crowded train and found an empty compartment in a flurry of activity. The girls were often surprised by the boys' uncontrollable desire to share. They chattered like old friends who had not shared anything for half a lifetime, as if they were together almost every day. Xia felt her ears hurt, and Lily thought her head was about to explode.

Their laughter was interrupted by the sound of the door being pushed open. Six heads looked towards the door together. She was holding something in her hand. Xia recognized her as the short-haired Hufflepuff who had teased her and Sirius that day. The Hufflepuff took a half step back under the burning, curious, and puzzled gazes of the six Gryffindors. After thinking about the purpose of her coming here, she mustered up the courage to rush to Xia and force a small bag in her hand, saying "For you!" Then she quickly left the box under the unresponsive, scrutinizing, and surprised gazes.

Ender used a levitation spell to pull the small package directly from Xia's arms. He let the package fall on the table. The remaining five heads quickly gathered together, and six pairs of eyes stared at it as if it would jump away like a chocolate frog.

"How long do we have to watch it?" Xia blinked her sore eyes. The small bag in front of her had no intention of jumping out of the window, nor did it have any intention of opening itself. It was just an ordinary thing.

Ender still didn't let his guard down. He used his wand to open the package, revealing the true contents - treacle pie!

"Oh my God, what is this?" James' eyes widened, unable to understand how this could turn out. He reached out to poke the innocent pies, but his hand was ruthlessly slapped away by Ender.

"Hey, James!" Ender warned, "Have you forgotten? Never put down your wands in front of something you don't know where it comes from!"

James rolled his eyes and said unconvincedly: "Yes, yes, I know."

Lily smiled secretly when she saw James's frustrated look. It was rare to see the lawless James Potter look like this.

Remus leaned forward to smell it, and he said hesitantly: "This looks like a normal pie."

Sirius, like Ender, did not let his guard down. He still remembered what the Hufflepuffs said that day. He crossed his arms and said coldly, "Maybe there was a love potion in it."

Xia: "How do you know?"

James gloated and said: "Of course our dear Sirius received it~"

Xia and Lily looked at them curiously, they hadn't heard this part of the story yet. Remus continued with a smile: "We didn't know who gave it to us, but the other party didn't seem to understand our preferences, so we gave it to Frank in the end."

Ender sounded rather sorry about this. "Unfortunately but fortunately Frank escaped unharmed and the thing ended up falling into the fireplace in the common room."

"Oh, poor Frank, if he eats it, Alice will kill him." Lily was full of sympathy, but if you listened carefully, you could actually hear a hint of regret.

Finally, it was Xia who brought the topic back. She asked, "What about these pies? The pies at Hogwarts are really delicious. I mean, I'm a little hungry."

Lily complained, "Yeah, I don't know which guy with glasses was dawdling all the time, causing us to miss breakfast."

James scratched his head in embarrassment, which made his hair, which he had taken care of in the morning, return to its original messy state. Ender complained: "It seems that Potter shampoo is not effective for Potter."

Everyone laughed, except Lily, who opened her green eyes and asked, "What shampoo?"

James said proudly, "My dad invented it. I swear half of the wizards are using it. Oh, even Muggles are using it."

Lily remembered a bottle of shampoo in her house, which seemed to have appeared after James's visit. Her father's look of great joy and his gradually thickening hair gave Lily the answer at that moment. No wonder she always felt that her father had a natural liking for Potter, and would not let her ask, always using "man's secrets" to get rid of her. So that's how it was.

Seeing that Lily was a little curious about this, James started to talk nonstop, like a peacock with its tail spread out! Ander felt that his good brother had become so strange at this moment, and he asked Xia in his lowest voice: "What's wrong with him?"

Xia patted his shoulder and said earnestly: "It's okay, it's just that you're old." After that, she stared at the pie on the table in a daze. She was really hungry.

The familiar platform appeared before her eyes, and Xia suddenly felt hopeful. She was the last one to leave the box, and saw the pie lying alone on the table. Before Ander urged her, she quickly put it in her pocket.

The platform was full of parents who came to pick up their children. They all stretched their necks to look for their little wizards. The little wizards did the same, but they had started looking as soon as the Hogwarts Express pulled into the platform. Basically, as soon as they jumped off the train, they could go straight to their parents.

When Xia got off the train, she saw the Hufflepuff who gave her the pie, and the Hufflepuff obviously saw her too. The Hufflepuff rushed to Xia and asked expectantly, "Is the treacle pie delicious?"

Xia was a little embarrassed. How should she answer? She pulled the end of her hair and thought about her answer. Ender had already found his parents. Seeing that Xia had not caught up, he turned around and found that Xia was standing with the Hufflepuff who seemed to have used a love potion.

He walked quickly to Xia and looked at the person opposite with a bad face. Hufflepuff was frightened by Ander's eyes. She stammered and couldn't say a word. Xia was determined to break this awkward scene. She said, "Hey, I don't even know your name yet."

The Hufflepuff was a little disappointed to hear that, but she still answered the question: "Betty Abbott."
