HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 179 Before Christmas Holiday

Time seemed to pass quickly after Xia delivered the wool socks. During this period of time, she heard a lot of complaints about Sirius from Regulus. Especially when she learned about Sirius' miserable state when he was teased by his friends and brother, Xia couldn't help laughing.

"I still treasure it!" Regulus said indignantly again. He was obviously furious. "I even gave it to Greengrass and Snape. However, it feels good to have someone to go through this with me."

Xia blinked, she seemed to know what to give Regulus for Christmas this year. The conversation between the two was interrupted by the arrival of a Slytherin with light blond hair. She learned the other's name from Regulus - Felix Greengrass.

"Greengrass." Regulus greeted indifferently.

"Are you calling me? I thought I heard 'Greengrass' just now?" he asked.

Regulus resisted the urge to roll his eyes. In fact, ever since he met so many Gryffindors, many of his behaviors had been unconsciously led astray. According to his childhood image of himself, in this situation he would usually answer the other party indifferently but politely and then ask the other party to leave quickly without leaving a trace.

Xia said "Oh" softly at this time, and she said: "Are you Christian's brother? I don't mean anything else, but I heard him say that you were in the medical wing a few days ago-"

"Yes." He answered. He wanted to leave, but he rolled his eyes and asked, "Do you know my brother?"

Shia smiled and said that she wanted to visit a few days ago, but Christian refused.

"Please—" Felix drawled. "He said I needed to rest? Merlin, I was bored as hell."

Xia thought this first-year wizard was very interesting. She took out a piece of candy from her pocket—no one knew how much candy she had hidden on her body—and handed it to Felix. She winked at him and said, "Eating candy will make you feel better."

After Felix took it, he immediately recognized that it was the same candy that his brother handed to him that day. He pretended to be casual and said, "I also received the same candy in the medical wing."

As expected, he heard the answer, "You——"

"Sylvia Hopps," said Thea.

"Oh, okay, Hopps. Are you close to my brother?"

Xia nodded and said, "He and I are very good friends."

"Friends?" Felix whispered.

Regulus caught this sound and snorted: "Yes, Xia has many friends."

Felix glanced at Blake. He seemed not to have expected Blake's personality to be like this, but he still got some useful information. He smiled with satisfaction. It seemed that there was nothing wrong with coming over to talk to him.

Regulus narrowed his eyes and stared at the little Slytherin. He could sense what the man in front of him was planning. This came from his understanding of Slytherin. You know, very few Slytherins would take the initiative to talk to Gryffindors - before they knew their bloodline, well, but after they knew it, they would not chat so calmly. They would usually start fighting in the second sentence - in short, this Greengrass was very suspicious.

Xia once again showed her slowness steadily. She patted Regulus on the head - she really wanted to know what it felt like. She had to admit that she had some empathy for those who always tortured her head - it felt good, but Xia didn't control the strength well and pulled out two strands of hair. She quickly stuffed them into her pocket, then glanced at Regulus nervously and found that he didn't notice it, which made Xia breathe a sigh of relief.

"Okay, I'm leaving first. You guys chat slowly." Xia ignored Regulus' dissatisfaction with being patted on the head and left the scene. She was going to the auditorium to find Lily.

After Xia left, the two Slytherins retracted the stiffest fake smiles they had ever shown in front of Xia, turned around and left in different directions.

On the night before the Christmas holiday, the auditorium was filled with laughter. The students who had left school excitedly talked about what they were going to do when they got home. Xia heard many students express their plans to travel, and everyone once again had a heated discussion about the travel destination. This time, the students who stayed on campus joined in the discussion with great interest. Just now they were still depressed about staying on campus.

Thea came up to Lily, who was talking to Ender about magical creatures because Ender was wondering if they could be Animagus or Patronus, and interrupted them by squeezing in between the two of them, turning her head back and forth between them like a tennis ball.

"Are you already discussing such advanced topics?" Xia was shocked. "We are only in the third grade!"

Ender and Lily shrugged. They said it was just an interesting point.

Xia accepted this answer with her nose pinched. She reached for the apple pie and said, "I have prepared your gifts - oh, thank you, Sirius - Hess should be waiting at home to give them to you now."

Xia took the piece of apple pie that Sirius handed over and said, "I'm always afraid of forgetting this. At least don't be surprised when you see the gift. I just gave it to you in advance. You can choose to open it with other gifts."

Ender frowned, took a sip of pumpkin juice and said, "Oh, you ruined the surprise, Thea! I don't want to see a present on my doorstep when I get home."

Xia elbowed him hard and threatened, "Then you'll lose your gift!"

Ender curled his lips and said nothing more, but he couldn't help looking forward to it. No one would refuse a gift. He hoped that Xia would give him the super expensive new set of wizard chess. He would be grateful to her for the rest of his life.

Dinner ended in a noisy atmosphere. The long-awaited Christmas holiday finally arrived. Xia packed her luggage early in the morning and waited for her friends in the Gryffindor common room. She sat on the sofa and thought about whether to visit Lillian at Priest Manor. Her intuition told her that she could find a way to destroy the Horcrux without destroying it. Speaking of which, she didn't know if there was a portrait at Hopes Manor. She thought she could go to Hopes Manor to take a look.

As soon as Sirius arrived at the lounge, he saw Xia. She was wearing the silver-blue star hairpin and a blue hairband tied into a loose bow at the end of her braid. Sirius was about to laugh out loud. He also saw the necklace he gave to Xia hanging around her neck.

He couldn't help but want to tell her about his friendship and his love. After the holiday, he would find a suitable time - Sirius wanted to give Xia the best of everything and the most perfect confession.
