HP: Hogwarts, but pro-generation

Chapter 60: Quiet and Introverted Potter

Penny raised her eyebrows and looked at the giggling boy in front of her with a cold face. His robe was hanging loosely on his body, his glasses were crooked, and his hair was sticking up disobediently on the back of his head.

Oh my god, he even rubbed it harder, which made it look even messier!

His strange attire attracted the neighbors around him, and everyone turned to look at him, but he did not show any embarrassment. Instead, he waved and greeted them.

"Come in, Lily told me you were coming." Penny opened the door and left room for one person to pass through. "She went to Spinner's End Alley. She should be back soon."

It is now nine o'clock in the morning. Lily sent some freshly baked fruit pies to Snape at the request of Mrs. Evans. James is coming over today, so Lily will not stay there long.

"Hi!" James responded to Penny enthusiastically. He jumped onto the steps at the door and wrinkled his nose unconsciously when he heard the second half of Penny's words. "Okay, then we can play for a while."

Led by Penny, they came to the living room. James looked curiously at the square box that kept playing pictures. Before he could study what it was, Mr. and Mrs. Evans came out of the kitchen.

"You are James, right?"

"Mr. Evans, Mrs. Evans." James was startled, and the small bag in his hand fell to the ground, and the loud noise hit everyone's ears, "Oh, sorry"

He picked up the bag again in a panic, "It's a bit heavy. Um, yes that's right, I'm James, James Potter, Lily's classmate and good friend."

The incident that just happened made James a little nervous. He kept pushing his glasses that had slipped down - pushing them up, sliding them down, pushing them up, sliding them down.

The repetitive actions made him unable to help but complain in his heart. He never realized that this pair of glasses was so annoying. It was time to ask his dad to fix them.

His annoyed expression and uncomfortable little movements made the Evans couple find it a little funny. The Potter they knew from their two daughters was not like this.

"What's in your bag? That voice just now sounded very heavy, dear." Mrs. Evans eased the awkwardness of the scene. To be honest, she was actually a little curious.

"Oh!" James perked up at the mention of this, "Mrs. Evans, can I open it here?"

When someone looks at you with eyes as clear and pure as a deer's, you will want to satisfy all his requirements.

Mrs. Evans indulged in James's gaze. She said lovingly, "Of course, dear. Just be casual and treat this place as your own home."

James opened his small bag immediately. In this family with only one year of wizarding calendar, the things he brought were extremely attractive.

"I never thought such a small bag could hold so many things."

Mr. Evans stared in amazement as James took out many strange gadgets, some food that Lily had brought before, and even a complete set of wizard chess.

"How did you do that?" Mr. Evans stared closely at James's actions as he was groping for something in the small bag.

"Yes, it's the Invisible Extension Charm, sir." James answered with some difficulty. He was now trying hard to touch the things he had brought with him. "Ha, here it is! For you, Mrs. Evans, this is a beauty potion. Many witches are lining up to order it."

He pulled out a few more bottles, "This is Potter's shampoo. It's very good for your hair. My dad invented it."

After saying this, he handed these to the Evans couple, who happily took the bottles and jars, "I just need a good shampoo."

Mr. Evans has been worried about his receding hairline recently. He checks his hair carefully in front of the mirror every day. Lily has told me that Potter shampoo is very popular in the wizarding world. Maybe it will be useful for his hair too.

Mrs. Evans was even happier. No lady could resist anything related to beauty. "Oh, if only I had such a cute little boy at home." She covered her heart with her hands and looked at James with even more fondness.

James was not embarrassed to be stared at by a group of people outside the door, was not embarrassed to be criticized by the professor at school, and was not embarrassed to make a fool of himself in front of his friends, but now he felt a sense of reservedness that he had not felt for a long time.

"It's nothing, ma'am."

He finally stopped rubbing his head so hard. The embarrassed feeling of scratching his head made Lily, who had just entered the house, almost drop her jaw to the ground.

Who is this, who has become James Potter? Get off him!

The little witch didn't know what happened at home. She only knew that after she went out, her naughty classmate became a well-behaved and introverted little boy in the eyes of his parents!

"Hi! Evans, you're here?" All the Evanses present looked at James, which made James realize that he might have to change the way he addressed Evans.

Looking at his master-like demeanor, maybe one day he will be called James Evans. Lily couldn't help rolling her eyes to the ceiling.

"Lily." Mrs. Evans saw her daughter's little action and stopped her sternly, "Don't do this to your friend. Be nice. He's a little nervous."

"......" After a long silence, Lily said stiffly, "Okay mom, I will take good care of shy Potter."

"Just call me James. Can I call you Lily?"
