Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy
Chapter 105 How Could I Fail?
Cad Bane was watching the boy in the strange red and blue clothes eating at the food stall. Not far away, the Coruscant Guards were arresting a few thugs who had just collected protection money from the vendors.
Cade planned to catch the kid once he was done eating and away from the crowds. From what he overheard, the kid calling himself Spider-Man had taken out a few thugs who were harassing the food stand owner.
All Cade had to do was wait, for an opportunity to knock him down, grab him, and take him to the location his client requested.
Spider-Man finished his meal, wiped his mouth, and talked to Garen.
Garen shrugged and asked, "So, what are you going to do now, kid?"
Spider-Man scratched his head and said, "You can only explore this world while helping people."
"Like you helped me with?"
"Yeah! Also, who are those guys? What gang are they?"
"Oh, those birdmen are all over Coruscant. This is some dangerous territory, kid, I'll try to stay away from this place."
Spider-Man thought about it and said, "Okay, Garen. Do you know where I can gather some useful information?"
"Like a library or something?"
Spider-Man nodded quickly, mentally thanking the almighty library.
"Well, I can think of two. One is on the other side of the planet, quite far from here, and the other is actually near the Jedi Temple."
"where is it?"
"Right there," Garen pointed to a building that Spider-Man had actually seen earlier.
Spider-Man looked in the direction Garen pointed and asked in surprise, "That place?"
"Yes, but I don't know if you can enter. To enter the Jedi Temple, you need certain permissions."
Spider-Man thought for a moment and said, "Thank you for your help, Garen. I will definitely come back to you next time, and I will pay you then."
"I'm looking forward to seeing you again, kid."
Spider-Man nodded, put on his mask again, crouched down, jumped high, and shot out a spider silk at the same time.
The bounty hunter Cade, who was hiding in the corner, decided to capture the child. From what he heard, this mysterious little guy was going to the Jedi Temple. The bounty hunter couldn't let this happen, because if this little guy really entered the Jedi Temple, it would be much more difficult to catch him.
Cade quickly activated his thrusters and chased in the direction Spider-Man was heading.
If Cade stayed here any longer, he would be discovered by the two young Jedi he had attacked earlier.
Ahsoka and Barriss arrived at the area and found the Coruscant Guard preparing to leave, Barriss approached an officer of the Coruscant Guard, "Officer, I am Jedi Barriss Offee, and this is my fellow Jedi Ahsoka Tano."
The officer turned around to face her, "Hello, how can I help you?"
Barris said, "We're currently looking for someone...but first, what's going on here?"
"Oh, just some gang members harassing a food vendor here. We've been getting complaints about them for a while, but we never caught them, and now we've finally caught these guys."
"How exactly did you catch him?"
"A strange kid dressed in red and blue... somehow tied them up," the guard explained. "From the reports and the playbacks from nearby cameras, the kid subdued them with the bindings he shot from his wrists."
"What kind of binding?"
The guard shrugged. "It's a bit like... a spider web. It's really sticky."
Ahsoka stood next to her friend and spoke up, "Don't you think…?"
"Red and blue?" Barris recalled some of the colorful costumes worn by the Avengers. "Maybe..."
The two hurriedly asked, "Do you know where this person went?"
"You Jedi are looking for that Spider-boy?"
Both Jedi turned to see a Twi'lek wiping down his stall.
They looked at each other and back at the Twi'lek, "Spider-boy?"
"The child is a nice person, but he seems a little naive."
"Have you seen him?" Barris asked with a hopeful look.
Garen laughed proudly and said, "Not only did I see him, he even had dinner at my place. He was the one who subdued those thugs, which really helped me a lot."
"Where is he now?" Ahsoka asked hastily.
Garen pointed and said, "For some reason, this kid wanted to find a library or something. I asked him to go to your Jedi Temple."
Both Barriss and Ahsoka's eyes widened with relief, but they knew their little mission wasn't over yet.
"Which direction did he go?"
Garen pointed in a direction ahead.
Ahsoka and Barriss both bowed in gratitude, "Thank you for your help, sir."
"We need to hurry. The guy who attacked us must be looking for him too."
The two ran off, leaving the Twi'lek vendor slightly confused and bewildered.
At this time, in front, Spider-Man continued to swing between the tall buildings, swinging towards the direction of the Jedi Temple, while also admiring the surrounding scenery.
“I have to say, this place is much better than New York in terms of high-rise buildings.”
Why does everything feel like it's slowing down?
He began to feel the hairs on his body stand up, his ears felt like they were throbbing, Spider-Man's eyes widened, "Wait... this sting-"
On instinct, he quickly ducked to the side, avoiding the blaster attack from his blind spot.
"How could I fail?" muttered Douluo Bounty Hunter.
Spider-Man landed quickly, startling passers-by. He looked around in horror, "Who shot?!"
Cad Bane stood on the roof of a building, thinking that the guy below had just escaped by luck, so he aimed carefully this time. Exhaling, Cad grinned and fired the next shot, but the target barely deviated to the side and avoided the blaster beam.
Cade thought for a moment and raised his firing rate to the highest level to ensure that nothing would go wrong. He fired several more shots at a faster rate, squinting at the first set of blasters that Spider-Man dodged, then leaping high into the air to dodge the rest.
"Once is a coincidence, twice is definitely not."
By this point, Spider-Man has discovered the source of the blaster beams, and while it's cool to see actual laser beams, it's not so cool to have them fired at you.
"Okay, let me see what's going on." Spider-Man shot out a bunch of spider silk, fixed them to two nearby poles, and then stretched the spider silk as hard as he could.
