Soon after, they were all taken to the lab below.

Padmé's hands were cuffed behind her back, while the Avengers were tied up with electrified "ropes".

They also slowly approached as Padmé faced a tall humanoid alien with a white lab coat, blue skin, double eyelids, huge purple markings under his eyes, and a slender face. Behind the droids and humanoids were the Zabrak waiter Cadrian Sai and the mercenary Rumlow.

Padmé glared at the tall humanoid as he walked towards them, the man pulling out a pair of small glasses and holding them up to his eyes.

"Who are you? Why are you holding us?" Padme's question was ignored by the man.

Peter groaned and slowly sat up, only to be suddenly grabbed by the face and lifted up to the alien, forcing him fully awake.

The young teen's eyes widened as he watched the humanoid studying him so intently.

"A wonderful specimen." The humanoid said in a strange way...something like a German accent. "What is a life form like you doing in a swamp like this?"

"I was about to ask you the same thing." Padmé shot at the man.

"Will you let go of my face?" Peter asked through his squashed cheeks and lips.

The humanoid took a step back and put away his glasses.

“Thanks to the support of my sympathetic friends in the Separatist Alliance, I am creating life,” he boasted in grand fashion.

Rumlow snorted in amusement, and Cadrian just rolled his eyes.

Then everyone heard the groaning of Captain America who had woken up and was slowly getting down to his knees.

"Back to Earth? Or did I wake up in Germany? Steve asked in a dazed tone.

"No, you're not back on Earth yet, Rogers," Rumlow said, snapping Steve's attention to where he was.

He looked up at the scientist, who was staring at Cap with obvious curiosity.

"Who are you?" Rogers asked.

The tall alien grinned and grabbed the collar of his lab coat, pulling it straight.

"Dr. Wendy, one of the greatest scientists in this galaxy," the now confirmed madman doctor said in an exaggerated manner.

"Excellent, someone who thinks highly of himself," said Natasha dryly, now also awake.

“When someone like me has the ability to create life, I believe confidence is a natural state of mind,” Wendi boasted.

"Then how did you create life?" asked Black Widow.

"I'm glad you hit the nail on the head," Wendy said excitedly.

The mad scientist walked over to a nearby wall, which was stacked with multiple shelves of vials containing a blue liquid.

He pulled out one of the containers and displayed it proudly. "Allow me to present the return of the infamous Blue Shadow Virus."

"Blue Shadow Virus?" Padmé repeated in disbelief. "This deadly disease should have been eradicated.

"Yes, it disappeared from the galaxy generations ago, but I gave it life again," Wendi shouted triumphantly.

"How can creating a virus that kills people be compared to creating life?!" Peter now shouted angrily.

Wendi just laughed out loud.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,

The Avengers and the Senator stared at the crazy and eccentric scientist in silence.

"Oh, you finally shut up." Peter breathed a sigh of relief.

Even though Wendy didn't show it, he was offended. Then he moved on. "Unfortunately, the Blue Shadow Virus in its natural form only thrives in water until I improve this weakness.

Wendy walked over to a small pedestal with several electric prods around it. Wendy placed the vial on the pedestal, walked over to the computer terminal, and flipped a switch.

The current began to rush through the vial and the liquid seemed to transform.

After the shock ended, the Senator and the Avengers watched as the vial of blue liquid turned into a swirling cloud of microscopic matter. It didn't take them long to realize what had just happened.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Your eyes don't deceive you. I have perfected an airborne strain of Blue Shadow virus." Wendy said proudly, holding up the vial of the now gaseous virus.

Entering from the laboratory entrance was a LEP servant robot holding a circular device in its hand.

"This is the last bomb, Doc," it said, approaching the scientist.

"I'm well aware this is the last time. Did you think I'd lose count? Wendy stormed out at the servant robot, snatching the disabled bomb in the process. He then picked up the vial in the air and inserted it into the bomb. "The gaseous virus combined with these bombs will release the Blue Shadow Virus back into the galaxy, more powerful than ever before.

“So… then the universe is completely unoriginal?” Peter couldn’t help but say. “We are in another galaxy, and there is an evil German scientist who wants to do evil and thinks he is misunderstood. I can’t tell if this is boredom or laziness.”

"It takes a true genius to accomplish what I do!" Wendi yelled, pointing a finger at Spider-Man.

"Are you crazy?" Padmé shouted. "It is a deadly disease. No life form can survive it. That is why it is eradicated.

"I believe this is what's going on with him, Padmé," Natasha said, glaring at the crazy doctor.

"You mean murdered!" Wendy exclaimed like a madman, before handing the armed bomb to the LEP robot. "Take this." As it hurried away, the scientist approached the captive. "Meanwhile, as we speak, thousands of so-called advanced life forms are spreading this virus throughout the galaxy. Perhaps they are the ones who should be eradicated.

"Don't talk nonsense, Wendi." Rumlow's hoarse voice interrupted the doctor's roar.

Have you forgotten that my master Dooku wishes to ensure that I bring him any Avengers we capture." Cadrian added and Wendy bowed quickly.

"Yes, yes, yes, of course," Wendy said. "Everything to my great benefactor."
