Rumlow and Steve just stared at each other, and Natasha did the same to Cadrian.

But Peter's eyes were fixed on the wall of vials of the virus. In his mind, it was considering what they could possibly do to stop this madman's multiple plans to bring the virus into the galaxy.

When he woke up, he tried to find his Avengers ID card and couldn't feel it on him. His best bet was that Brock Rumlow and the waiters must have taken it with Cap and Black Widow. If they were in a secret lab, the communication might be difficult to send out.

His time with the Avengers taught him that he needed to take his time and wait for the right opportunity instead of rushing into it.

So now, he allowed the robots to take him and the others away.

They'll find a chance to strike back at this lunatic and his hired HYDRA bastards.

Back with Rhodes, who was reviewing his findings on the Separatist situation on Naboo with Tap and Typho, he soon received notification of the Republic fleet's arrival.

Walking to the hangar, he saw several gunships arrive and land, with clones from the 212th, 41st, and 501st Legion appearing along with five familiar Jedi faces.

"Guys." Rhodes waved to them. He and Typho came with Pepi, a Gungan woman from the grassland sent by Padmé, to greet their old friends.

They came together, and Luminara Unduli and her Padawan bowed in greeting.

"Hey, Luminara, Barriss." War Machine looked them both over. "Nice to see you two again."

"Nice to meet you, Colonel." Luminara greeted Barris kindly, giving the Armored Avenger a kind smile.

"I think we're past the need for titles, Luminara," War Machine said with a slight smile.

Typho had been talking to Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka.

"General Kenobi, Anakin, we are so happy—"

"Where is Senator Amidala?" Anakin interrupted the captain with a stern look.

"She went to find the lab the tactical droid mentioned," Rhodes replied.

"You let her go?" Anakin asked excitedly.

"Do you really think we can stop her?" War Machine shot back, raising an eyebrow.

"Once Senator Padmé sets her mind to it, it will be difficult to stop her." C-3P0 interrupted and Anakin lowered his head in frustration.

"Yes, well said. I know what you mean." Anakin said. He knew how his wife acted sometimes.

Typho then cleared his throat loudly, gaining everyone's attention as he looked behind him at the Gungan female standing next to them.

"This is Pepi Poo. She was the last person to see them. Padmé got her to safety.

"They are looking for sick people," Peppy said quickly. "I saw them near the swamp."

"They?" Obi-Wan said.

"She meant Peter, Natasha, and Steve," Rhodes elaborated. "They went with her to investigate."

Hearing that three Avengers were with his wife eased Anakin's worries considerably.

After a moment, R2-D2 beeped and Anakin nodded to the astromech.

"Yeah, you're right, man."

"What do we do now?"

"We need to be careful," War Machine advised in a blunt tone. "Typho and I have recently gotten some new things that have us worried. The others haven't called us back yet, but we think it may be related to what we found.

Anakin and Obi-Wan exchanged glances with Luminara before turning back to their Padawan.

"Ahsoka, Barriss, you two go with the Gungans. See if you can find them. Anakin ordered.

"Understood, Master," Ahsoka said, and Barriss nodded, and the two of them left, with Pepi following closely behind.

"So what did you just say about the other people who haven't called you back?" Luminara asked, War Machine tilted his head and returned to the room where the abandoned robots were imprisoned.

"Come on, let us show you."

Soon after, the three Jedi Knights stood around a holo-table with Rhodes and Typho, each gazing into the head of a B1 battle droid.

"We performed a robotic lobotomy on the battle droid, and Tap managed to piece together the memory.

After a moment, the holographic face of a tall, slender humanoid appeared, with black markings under his eyes.

"Who's that?" Kenobi asked.

"Dr. Nuvo Vendi, senior physician to the Perma family. He disappeared ten years ago," Typho said before the holographic message played.

"Good news, my soulless automated friend. We now have enough Blue Shadow virus to start filling the bombs.

"He said 'bomb'," Threepio said worriedly, and R3-D2 agreed.

"We only need to send one bomb to each key star system. Work fast. I want them ready to deliver—"

No further playback because the holographic image was not clear.

"We are dealing with a run-of-the-mill German scientist. War Machine said with his arms crossed and a grim expression.

"Blue Shadow Virus." Luminara said in confusion. "How is this possible?"

"If these bombs are delivered, we will have a galaxy-wide plague. Obi-Wan was stressed.

"War will be the least of our worries," Luminara said dully.

"There's some good news." Typho said, showing off a large, multi-story facility. "Senator Amidala found the lab. Before she disappeared, she sent us the coordinates. We've managed to get a geoscan of the area.

"This is tremendously good news," Kenobi commented.

"It looks like there are three entry points." Captain Typho then highlighted the three aforementioned areas on the holographic map, and then highlighted another location. "This appears to be the main laboratory.

"Where is the virus bomb?" Luminara asked.

“This area seems to have higher than average radiation levels.” Typho highlighted another area on the geoscan, closer to the center of the lab. “This is likely where they’re assembling.”

"If Padmé alerts them to our presence in any way..." Obi-Wan began.

"If Padmé was there and we shot her, she would probably be killed," War Machine pointed out.

"Where are the others?" Anakin asked. "You said Steve, Natasha, and Peter were with her.

"They've probably been caught," Luminara speculated.

"How did they get caught?" Anakin asked.

Rhodes warned the Jedi. "This fellow named Wendy may well have some hired forces to make this happen. We'd be putting all our friends in danger."

"This is a risk we must take. Dr. Wendy and those virus bombs must not leave the laboratory," Obi-Wan said firmly.

"What if they or we accidentally detonate one during our attack?" Anakin countered.

Soon, a hint of fear entered Kenobi's voice. "It's better to have one planet infected than the entire galaxy.

"That's not going to happen." War Machine said sharply. "We're going to get them all out no matter what.

It was a rather startling declaration, though the Jedi Master knew Rhodes was right.

The thought of an entire planet suffering and perishing because of a virus with such a deadly reputation and impact was something he would not have thought of, whether he had the Jedi Code or not.
