Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 326: Set off to find Captain America

As time passed, Jedi soon became more active throughout the city of Coruscant, with clone troopers assisting in the ongoing cleanup efforts. Others were once again redeployed across the galaxy.

As time went on, the Avengers began to grow more agitated, but remained focused on at least helping the people in front of them.

This continued for a few more days until...

Black Widow sat with Scott and T'Challa, the three taking time out of their day to eat.

After a while, Sam joined them, and the four of them ate in relative silence for the most part.

"Still no news?" Sam asked after a moment of silence, and Black Widow sighed.

"I haven't gotten any useful information in the past few days." Natasha said, visibly annoyed. "Some of the contacts I made on Tatooine have no information on Steve.

"We seem to have reached a dead end," T'Challa said grimly.

"Damn Ultron," Scott muttered bitterly.

"Are there any avenues we haven't explored yet?" Sam asked Natasha, and Natasha pondered.

"Well, there are many places and organizations we can start with," Natasha began. "They always have some information, and we—"

Before she could continue, the door to their room opened and in stumbled a very tired Keefar Jedi, breathing slightly heavily.

Falcon blinked and immediately recognized who it was.

"Vos?" the pilot asked, confused. "What happened?"

"Is there any emergency?" Black Widow asked after a while.

He held up a finger and took a breath.

Pausing, the Jedi handed them a data pad. "Take a look at this."

Black Widow exchanged a look with the other three Avengers and shrugged before picking up the datapad and flipping through it as Voss spoke.

"Well, as you know, this war has been escalating, and Ultron is now coming into play..." Voss didn't finish the sentence, and the Avengers grimaced. "Anyway, for some time there have been some unusual signs of activity on the Outer Rim in the north. Most people thought it was a means of escaping the war, or that it was one of the planets that Ultron hadn't attacked.

"so what?"

“So I looked a little more and found something. Something to do with a battle arena on the planet Sleshiron, run by a crime lord for cheap entertainment.

"Sounds pretty ordinary," Scott couldn't help but comment.

"However, there is one combatant who has attracted a lot of attention. Voss revealed, making the four heroes in front of him tense in anticipation.

"Combatants, you say?" Black Widow said, her tone leaning towards the Jedi Knight continuing.

"Harleen Hentz is my source and a good friend. And she knows every asshole place in the Outer Rim. Two days ago, she sent me this photo." Quinlan said, holding up a round holodisc, and after a moment-

"Steve/Captain!" was the collective response from Black Widow, Sam, and Scott.

They all stared at a freeze frame image of Captain America, who appeared to be attacking something with his costume.

T'Challa smiled slightly, happy to see the super soldier was still alive.

"What happened to him?" Falcon asked immediately.

"What's wrong with the captain?" Scott asked. "He actually seems fine."

"Is that what you're worried about?"

"What? I was just saying'. Scott said defensively.

"You and Peter are two peas in a pod, you know that?" Sam said dryly. "You both know you're Avengers, right?"

"We know," Scott said sheepishly, and Sam shook his head in mild amusement.

Black Widow and T'Challa stared at the still image of Cap for a moment longer before the latter turned to the Jedi Knight.

"Are you sure about the authenticity of Captain Rogers' presence on this planet?" T'Challa asked.

Voss shrugged. "That's the best news we've ever had. Harleen never makes a mistake."

"Then let's go." said Black Widow.

"Everyone going?" Sam asked, looking at the experienced Avenger.

Natasha shook her head. "We can't take that risk. Four of us will go, while the rest of the team needs to stay behind to continue to help and remain vigilant. Ultron could still attack at any given moment. The last thing we need is to return to a more devastated city."

"Delta Team is ready and our own ship is waiting for us," Voss revealed. "We can go there now."

The four Avengers quickly got ready, suited up, and grabbed the equipment they would need before nodding to Voss.

"Do you think nine of us are enough?" Falcon asked suddenly as Voss was thinking about this question.

“Harleen told me that the Slytherins are not a friendly place in the galaxy,” Quinlan admitted. “Maybe we need more help. It doesn’t hurt to be over-prepared.”

After leaving the room, some of the Avengers tried to gather people for the rescue operation.

One of them was in the hangar of the Jedi Temple.

Skywalker was currently adjusting his small starfighter in order to divert his attention from his current worries.

"Anakin."

The Jedi stopped what he was doing and looked at the person who was speaking to him. Wilson was walking towards him. He saw Master Vos behind him, and Delta Team, Scott, Natasha, and T'Challa next to a ship.

"what happened?"

"We think we may have found Steve's location. He's on the Slytherin," Sam said immediately.

Hearing this, Skywalker suddenly had a complicated reaction, feeling relieved yet serious at the same time.

"Are you sure?" the Jedi asked incredulously.

"Yes," Sam said firmly. "Vos's contact found him a few days ago. We are ready to go find him now.

"Very good, then we should find him back."

"Are Ahsoka or Obi-Wan available?" Falcon asked.

Anakin frowned. "Master Obi-Wan just left Mid-Rim with the 212th Legion. Ahsoka has been in the city, helping the civilians with Barriss and Peter.

"Damn it." Falcon cursed under his breath.

"What about the rest of the Avengers?" Anakin asked. "Aren't they going?"

"As much as we want them to come, we need some of us to stay in case Ultron shows up again," Sam said.

"Yeah, yeah," Anakin muttered, rubbing his chin in thought.

"Sam? Anakin? Is everything okay?

The two turned to see a confused Aayla Secura looking between them and to where the other three Avengers and Master Voss and his team of clones were.

"Are you all in a hurry to get somewhere?" Secura asked the two. "I didn't even know Master Voss was back."

“Wos came to us and said he had found out where the captain had been for the past few weeks.

Ella was stunned to hear the news, she faced the falcon with her eyes wide open in surprise.

"Really?" Ella whispered. "Are you serious?"

"We're getting ready to go soon," Sam revealed.

Scott, who was walking by with a small box, paused for a moment in front of them. "Well, not right away—"

"Scott," Sam said sternly.

"Yes, yes. Let's go now." Ant-Man walked away.

Ella frowned at them, then said, "Let me go with you."

"Are you sure, Aayla?" Anakin asked.

She just gave him a firm look. "I owe Steve as much as you do. He was my friend, just as he was to you. He was taken away and I was right next to him without even noticing. I have to make up for this."

Ella suddenly felt her mood brighten and lighten, a more playful smile on her face.

"Besides, besides Sam and Delta Team, I have the most experience dealing with old men," she said playfully. "You need someone experienced to deal with a guy like him. Ella said, looking in Quinlan's direction

Anakin and Sam hummed, then nodded.

"The more the merrier," said Sam. "Come on, let's get the captain back."
