"Look, there's a small village over there," Wanda said softly, looking into the distance.

"It's really surprising. After all that, there are still people who take the trouble to build here... Well, it's really surprising." Quicksilver snorted and muttered to himself, then looked back at the town that was being built not far from the crater of the former Sokovia.

"They are eager to rebuild their homes." Wanda said with a hint of emotion in her tone.

"Here? After everything that happened?" Quicksilver looked confused.

"You should understand the temperament of us Sokovians, Pietro." Wanda shook her head slightly, as if recalling the past.

Quicksilver snorted again, muttering, his eyes fixed on the town. "But why did you choose that place?" He couldn't help but point at the town and the crater, "I always feel... I can't explain it, it just looks weird."

Wanda shook her head slightly, and looked at her brother with her horns unconsciously raised, revealing a faint smile. She couldn't deny that she and her brother had similar feelings. Since returning here, the scene before them still exuded a sense of strangeness and strangeness to the two of them.

Frankly speaking, this place became the first place they visited after leaving their hometown for nearly two years. For them, it was both an emotional catharsis and an inevitable choice from the bottom of their hearts.

As mentioned before, two years ago, they had nothing. They were struggling in a difficult life before being excavated and used by Hydra to undergo experiments on the Mind Stone. Then, they confusedly helped a crazy artificial intelligence to fight against the Avengers, but they suddenly realized their own stupidity and joined the camp they once regarded as the enemy.

Just when they thought life couldn't be so absurd anymore, fate threw them into a completely unfamiliar galaxy. Now returning to their homeland, this experience and feeling is really indescribable.

"This is a new starting point for a new life." Wanda's voice broke the brief silence.

"Tony said he's been helping where he can," Pietro said.

"From what I've heard, he did a lot." Wanda shook her head slightly, "I swear, he feels guilty."

"I understand that," her twin brother said. "I mean, didn't we feel the same way when we found out about Ultron's true plan? Remember? God, we were such idiots for letting ourselves be sucked into it."

Wanda couldn't blame her brother for thinking that way. In many ways, she felt guilty about what she had done, especially when she still saw herself as an enemy of the Avengers.

Thinking back to the first time she hypnotized Tony, the scenes she saw, the nightmare of Iron Man shocked her.

To say the least, the thought of such a nightmare haunting the mind of one of Earth's mightiest heroes really sheds new light on his inner world.

It was because of seeing all this and letting Tony "experience" such a nightmare that indirectly led to the birth of Ultron.

Just as Tony blamed himself for this, Wanda also felt that she was to blame. It was she who stimulated Tony. Although Tony had a plan, it was because of her actions that Tony plunged into the development of Ultron without thinking.

"Want to come over and help?" Pietro's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"What help?" Wanda asked with a little confusion.

Quicksilver raised his chin in the direction of the village. "You've been staring at that town so much that you've almost seen through it. Want to go take a look?"

Wanda thought for a moment, then shook her head, "Maybe next time. For now, I just want to watch it from a distance here."

Quicksilver simply nodded and the twins fell into a comfortable silence.

"Do you think there's anyone we know among those people down there?" Quicksilver spoke again. Wanda crossed her arms and swayed her body gently from side to side.

"I don't know, maybe." She muttered softly, "I would be surprised if I saw someone I know there."

Quicksilver responded softly, his eyes slowly drifting towards the crater where Sokovia once was, with a distant look in his eyes.

"Do you think you can find where our home used to be?" He raised his head and gestured in the direction of the crater.

"I can't find it even if I want to," Wanda admitted frankly.

The twins' thoughts seemed to drift back to the past, and they were slightly absent-minded.

"Can you imagine me bringing Chucky here?" Quicksilver suddenly spoke, gesturing with his hands, "Hey, love of my life, look at this lovely valley. There is a meteorite crater there. Our hometown used to be there. Later it became a floating island that almost destroyed the earth, like a meteor."

Hearing this, Wanda couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Yeah, yeah, I know what you mean." Wanda smiled and looked at her brother, her eyes full of approval, "Let's not beat around the bush, huh? Don't you and Chuqi still have to plan for the wedding?"

Quicksilver smiled, reached out and touched his hair, and shook his head, "I need to learn all the customs of Pandora and their wedding procedures."

"Isn't it Pantora?" Wanda corrected.

"Yes, that's it." Quicksilver replied casually, causing Wanda to roll her eyes. "We need to understand their customs and learn more about them... After all, we have already been exposed to their culture, and -"

"Chucky told me that she doesn't mind doing it our way first." Wanda interrupted. Quicksilver blinked when he heard this, obviously surprised.

"really?"

“She felt our approach was more direct and comprehensive.”

Wanda nodded, with a smile on her face, and looked at Quicksilver, "So ~ when can I welcome my niece and nephew?"

Quicksilver was not flustered, but looked calm and looked straight at Wanda, "With the pace at which Chucky and I get along, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a dozen children."

Wanda looked at Quicksilver in surprise, reached out and patted his arm gently a few times, causing Quicksilver to laugh.

"Pietro," Wanda said, pretending to be angry, "didn't your parents teach you etiquette and chivalry?"

"Hey, Wanda, you're actually looking forward to having nieces and nephews, aren't you?" Quicksilver argued with a smile, "Besides, I bet Merlin and Illyana would love to be sisters, too."

Wanda snorted, but after a few seconds, a smile appeared on her face.

"But where are you going to raise the child?" Wanda couldn't help but ask, and Quicksilver rubbed his head.

"I... To be honest, I don't know either." Quicksilver admitted in a low voice, his face full of deep and solemn thinking, "I mean, the Earth is indeed our home, but except..."

"Besides the mission and responsibility of the Avengers, do we have a real home here?" Wanda finished speaking for Quicksilver. She didn't need to read his mind to understand what he was thinking. This was the tacit understanding between the twins.

Quicksilver sighed, agreeing with his sister's words.

"Well, that's basically it," he said quietly. "It wouldn't be fair to Chucky to leave the life she knew and her responsibilities to be here with me. And where would we live? Sokovia? It's unrecognizable. I know we're American citizens now, but . . . well, that's the way it is."

Wanda looked at her twin brother with sympathy, and reached out to gently pat his shoulder to comfort him, "No matter what decision you make, you know I will support you."

Quicksilver gave Wanda a grateful smile, and then the two fell into quiet silence again. After a moment, they turned around and walked together towards the Avengers headquarters.
