Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 547 Home - Captain America & Ella

Steve Rogers stood on the balcony of his room in Coruscant. The night was like a huge piece of black silk, slowly covering the planet.

He was wearing a pair of thin white pants, barefoot, and his solid chest rose and fell slightly in the night. He rested his elbows on the balcony railing and took a deep breath.

The scenery before him was not satisfactory. Coruscant was still recovering from the trauma of Ultron's fierce attack, and it seemed that there was still a long way to go before it was fully restored. Even so, deep down, Steve still longed to see a different scenery, a scene that could make him feel calm and relaxed.

The upright Captain America exuded a solemn aura. A pair of slender blue arms gently wrapped around his muscular chest like vines, and then he felt soft lips falling on his shoulder.

"I knew you were still awake," Ella Secura whispered softly. She was wearing one of Steve's shirts, which was so big that it almost covered her entire petite body.

His hands slowly moved up and held Ella's hands, his movements were gentle, as if he was holding the most precious treasure in the world.

"It's just... my mind is a mess, and I'm thinking about too many things." He responded in a low voice.

Aayla, the flower of the Jedi Twi'lek, gently turned around, slipped out from under his arms, and stood in front of him. She leaned her body against his broad, warm chest, grasped his arms tightly with both hands, and then wrapped them around herself.

Ella seemed to be absorbed in this loving gesture, her face filled with happiness. Steve leaned down and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"What are you thinking about?" Ella asked softly, tilting her head back and rubbing her forehead against his arm affectionately.

"Like I said just now, there are too many." Steve sighed and said slowly, "The meeting we had with everyone before... To be honest, these meetings one after another recently, it feels like we are in meetings all day long. We talk a lot but do far from enough."

"Then what can we do?" Ella's eyes were full of curiosity.

"I don't know. Maybe I can help with the cleanup, repair the buildings, or...anyway, I have to do something practical."

Ella hummed softly, tilted her head back again, and placed a kiss on his chin. "You're getting more and more impatient."

"Yeah, I guess I'm a little anxious." Steve admitted without hesitation, "We've tried our best to do a lot, but there are still countless things waiting for us to deal with."

"You're not this irritable when you're with me." Ella's voice had a hint of coquettishness.

Steve knew that what he was about to say might sound a little old-fashioned, but he was a nostalgic person.

"How can I be irritable when I'm with you?"

This sentence was like magic, causing Ella's body to tremble slightly. A warm current surged from the bottom of her heart, and her toes curled up unconsciously. Ella bit her lips lightly, her eyes full of shyness and sweetness.

"Steve~~" she said playfully, scoldingly, "I can't help it when you say something like that."

"Maybe this is my 'strategy'." Captain America's voice was a little hoarse, and he obviously enjoyed the enthusiastic response he got from Ella.

"I came here to see if you were okay because I was worried about you." Ella complained in mock anger, "Now you're driving me crazy."

Steve laughed heartily and pulled Ella closer, raising his hand to gently stroke her cheek. "I've never been as romantic as Bucky, but I've learned a trick or two over the years. It's nice to see them work."

"Flirtatious? So I'm just another trophy on your long road of conquest?" Ella asked in pretended anger.

Steve pretended to be serious, his expression serious: "I'm sorry that you found out."

Ella laughed out loud at his appearance, and the super soldier from Brooklyn couldn't hold back, and after a moment, a bright smile appeared on his face.

Ella turned around in his arms, facing him completely, and let his arms wrap around her tightly. The two of them just snuggled up quietly, enjoying the warmth radiating from each other, as if the whole world was just the two of them.

"Tell me, Steve." Ella's voice was soft and concerned. "What's bothering you?"

Steve gave her a long look: "I already told you."

"That's just a broad statement. Is there something in particular that you can't get over?"

Steve fell into deep thought, thinking back to the strange feeling that had come over him from time to time since the end of the Ultron Crisis. He wasn't sure if he could find a definite answer.

"Home," he said suddenly. Ella tilted her head in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"After returning to Earth a few times, I found that... it felt too strange." Steve's face showed obvious annoyance. "I have always regarded Earth as my home. But a few years ago, the Earth I woke up to was no longer what I remembered when I fell into the ice."

Ella frowned slightly, and a strange yet familiar feeling flashed through her mind. But she quickly put this thought aside, and at this moment, all her attention was focused on the man she loved deeply.

Steve let out a hollow laugh. “I tried hard to fit in, to think I could find my place there. And for a while, I did. The Avengers, in many ways, they still are my rock. They’re like my new family, my best friends, and they give me meaning and purpose.”

"now what?"

"They are still everything to me and always will be."

"But is your heart still on Earth?" Ella asked, wanting to confirm his true thoughts.

"It's too complicated," Rogers sighed, a hint of frustration in his tone. "Earth used to be home, but now, in many ways, it is no longer the home I remember. Especially now."

Ella raised her hand and gently placed it on his chest, feeling his strong and rhythmic heartbeat. She closed her eyes, as if she wanted to understand his inner world more deeply through this touch.

"Close your eyes, Steve," she whispered, her voice like the gentle breeze in the night sky. "Just... focus."

Steve stared at her in confusion for a few seconds, but chose to believe her and slowly closed his eyes.

Sensing that he had followed her instructions, Ayla placed her other hand gently on his cheek.

"Let all your memories, all your thoughts, flow freely through your mind, Steve. Think of it as a rushing river, and just go with the flow. Let it take you wherever you need to go, my love. You will find the answers along the way."

Steve followed her instructions, and memories of the past began to emerge in his mind. He tried to think about how to let these memories flow naturally like a "river" as Ella said. At first, everything was chaotic, until... slowly, he felt... a series of "images" began to shuttle freely in his consciousness...

It all started when he was young, when he spent many good times with Bucky, and before the war broke out, he had looked forward to entering art school. The scene turned to the battlefield, where he led the commando charge, then lost Bucky, and before falling into the ice, he kissed Peggy passionately, and woke up to a new and strange world.

What followed was a series of major events that led to the formation of the Avengers, and then the collapse of S.H.I.E.L.D., making the Avengers the most important guardians of the Earth.

They fought fiercely with the resurgent Hydra, experienced the first era of Ultron's rampage, and the team underwent multiple reorganizations before finally arriving here.

They plunged into one war after another, faced Ultron's second crazy counterattack, and...

And her.

Steve slowly opened his eyes, his gaze fixed firmly on the Jedi Knight Aayla in his arms.

"Home." Steve whispered, "I think I long for a place that I can truly call home. I lost everything I once knew, and I tried to convince myself that the part of me that longed for home had fallen asleep with the ice. But..."

"It's still in your heart." Ella murmured. At this moment, she held Steve's face in her hands, her eyes full of understanding and heartache. "Steve. You carry too many burdens that ordinary people can't bear."

"It's been too long. For a long time, I just... couldn't let it go." He analyzed himself frankly, "My heart has always stayed somewhere in the past. A world that has long gone. Those distant and beautiful memories. But then, I met you."

At this moment, an indescribable warmth bloomed in Ella's chest. She looked at Steve with love in her eyes and a gentle smile on her face.

"You do it again." She teased, "You always manage to easily make a woman's heart flutter and her whole body go limp."

"I'm deeply sorry." Steve pretended to be a gentleman. "Then what should I do to ask for your forgiveness, beautiful lady?"

Ella chuckled at his words and jumped slightly without warning.

Fortunately, Steve reacted quickly and held her firmly in his arms, like a bride about to enter the wedding hall. Ella hugged his neck, with a happy smile on her face.

"I've always wanted to do this since watching those shows and movies you showed me," Ella explained with a smile.

"I'm glad I could fulfill your wish." Steve hugged her tightly, his voice full of doting.

Ella giggled again, she gently pulled Steve in and gave him a long, passionate kiss, Steve also responded to her passionately. After a while, the two slowly separated, foreheads touching, each other's breath mingling.

"I don't know what the future holds, my love." Ayla whispered softly, "I know we are all new to all of this, but... we will face all the difficulties together. Who knows, maybe we can finally build a real home for ourselves. Whether it's on Earth, here, or on Teton, we have so many places to choose from."

“It sounds like it’s full of challenges and adventures,” Steve said with a smile.

"Very good, now." Ella pointed at his shoulder and said playfully, "Carry me back to our 'comfortable nest'."

"As you command, ma'am."

The two quickly returned to the bed, and the super soldier gently covered them with the blanket. Ella almost leaned her whole body against Steve, and Steve didn't mind.

In fact, whenever Aayla had the chance to sleep with Steve in bed without worrying about arousing suspicion in the Jedi Temple, she always liked to cling to him like this, and Steve enjoyed it, too.

"I love you, Ella Secura. I will fight by your side until the very end," Steve said sleepily, sleepiness slowly enveloping him.

Hearing these words, Ella Secura felt as if they had penetrated directly into his heart, body, and even the depths of his soul.

This love had been growing in her heart for some time, and since the Jedi rediscovered Teton, this feeling has grown exponentially.

She didn't know how to describe it exactly, but whenever she was with Steve, or even just thought about him, she felt this strong, burning emotion deep inside her... and it reminded her of the strong connection she had with Vos, Torm, and Tha.

Only this time, the feeling was stronger and more deeply rooted, as if it had been deeply imprinted in her life.

She shook her head and kissed Steve tenderly one last time before she too drifted off to sleep. "I love you, Steve Rogers. May the Force guide us through the trials and tribulations that lie ahead."
